The only hotel in Rome with a pool... essential in the gorgeous Summer heat. Do the walk to the Vatican on a Sunday morning to take in the most incredible views of Rome. A bit old fashioned inside ...

Absolutely the worst Waldorf in the world.

Absolutely the worst Waldorf in the world.
The feeling of having a daily technician in your room try to renovate/refurbish your room during your stay are not OK for me.

The re-naiming of changing name from Hilton Cavalieri to Waldorf Cavalieri without refurbish the broken rooms, are not what I expect from Hilton Group.

Great

For the first time in my life after a return trip when my flight landed i kissed the ground as everyone stared at me. I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights.

First of all this hotel is more like a corrupt bank than a hotel accomodation. What type of hotel has a huge "Cashier"'s Desk bigger than the reception desk at its lobby with tens of people lined up to file disputes on their room charges. Well, the Bank of Rome Cavalieri is that type of place. Its a corrupt bank not a hotel. Though I paid for my room through expedia, they took my card an put a huge holding fee on it. On new Years I paid 600 euros for my wife, myself and her mom before the New Years event. Than I figured they charged me a few extra times in case I don't pay for it, after i paid for it. Sounds like a joke? No, I am not even finished. I complained after i figured it out, they told me i have to pay the city tax in order to fix the mistake, so I pay 147 euros in cash for city tax, and guess what happens? They charge me three more times 350 euros each for no reason. I figured this out in the middle of my tour in the city so i return again to the "Bank" of Cavalieri to ask whats going on. They make up some BS and usher me out of the lobby with a 10 euro SPA entrance gift for my wife. They also charged me for the minibar a bunch of drinks which we didn't drink, later they fixed it because i complained. But if I was a silent guy they would not have fixed nothing. Think twice before you come to this hotel

Spent a few days here on a short holiday in early February, 2017. EXCEPTIONAL attention by all staff: reception, housekeeping, bellman, concierge, restaurant, Hertz, shuttle. Will definitely return.

We enjoyed a five night stay here, which is just outside of Rome, not too far from the Vatican. It was a lovely experience. The rooms, the breakfast buffet, the swimming pools, the outdoor space for lounging and eating, the view of Rome from the hotel (and some rooms), and the service - all of it was fantastic. To get into the center of Rome, if you even desired to do so (the resort itself is a vacation, frankly), we took the hotel shuttle, which runs regularly. It was quick, easy, and always on time. It drops off and picks up in only one place however, near the American Embassy. You're on your own after that. The one negative I would note about the resort is akin to most resorts of this sort: if you are not a free spender of your money, you'll find the resort food to be way too pricey. A turkey club sandwich (with fries), for example, will set you back 27 . A basic cocktail 17 or more. For us, we generally either ate in Rome itself, while out and about, or walked 10 minutes from the hotel to nearby neighborhood restaurants (which mostly catered to locals) and a gelato shop, which was fantastic.

Special Hotel. Immaculate space and very courteous staff. Views of Rome hard to beat from top floors or adjacent facility. Courtesy van to town all day. Taxi back is best. 7-8 floors are best with private elevator and complimentary dining and drinks. Wonderful spot.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels in Rome I have ever stayed in. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the furnishings to the relationship with customers to the availability of the staff in fulfilling requests. Truly a luxury hotel in an enchanting location.
I hope to have a chance to stay here again.
Highly recommended !!!

Disappointed that there was no ice bucket in room and called for one and it took 30 minutes to be delivered. Not great assistance with concierge, bought tickets on our own. Beautiful wonderful place, but questionable service for a place of this caliber.

Amazing not only as a top class hotel. It's almost like a museum with it's numerous works of art. Moreover the rooftop restaurant is a perfect environment overviewing the eternal city while enjoying delicacies from the chef!!!!

Had a fantastic stay & even had an upgraded room. The extravagance did not disappoint and made our short city break to Rome even more memorable. Ate in the hotel restaurant on our last night. It was worth every euro. The food and service was fantastic.

Inconvenient location to reach by public transport or on foot, if not by taxi. For the rest it is an extra luxury place. Regarding the congress that I was there for, the logistics were perfect

The views are fantastic. Our room faced Southeast towards Vittoria and from the balcony you could see parts of Vatican City which is pretty much directly South about a mile. The hotel itself is very nice and the layout is beautiful and convenient. It's got a great bar with great views and personable bartenders. The spa is very nice and you must get a massage from one of the fantastic masseuses! That should be mandatory. :) The service is absolutely top notch - they really go out of their way to help, even with extraordinary circumstances. The rooms are very nice - they must be some of the best in all of Rome. All around, this hotel is a really nice part of the finer travel experience. This should be your next choice for a stay!

I love it. This hotel cannot be described in words, so wonderfully beautiful and classically stylish it is! I have lived in many luxury hotels over the years, but this surpasses everything so far. Residual. La Pergola is in a class of its own and must be experienced.

Really superb hotel. Staff were really welcoming and friendly. The rooms were lovely as were the surroundings. We were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The food is excellent, the hotel interior is stunning as are the views across the city. The greatest asset the hotel has are its staff. Cannot thank them enough for making a special treat even more special. Thankyou.
