nice hotel ,clean large rooms and large bathrooms, great climate control of rooms ,shuttle service was great and great friendly drivers ,thats the good, now the bad breakfast is way overpriced and gets boring same stuff everyday, they make bad omelettes, scrambled eggs looked like something i got in the army, room beverages are insulting in price 8 euro for a small bottle of water ,a fee for wifi, a fee for the pool i'm surprised there was not a fee for the toilet

This hotel was truly special. My wife and I were on our honeymoon and were very much treated that way. Perrine, who works at the diamond desk, provided us with outstanding customer service our entire stay. Additionally, the breakfast and the Turkish bath at the spa made the stay incredibly luxurious. Well worth the money.

Valid for both business and private purposes, prices are normal for the category. Good outdoor pool and relaxation area. The rooms are a little summer and clean enough.
The restaurant is not up to a Roman dinner both for quantity, quality and a service that you pay a lot but scarce.

Everything was fantastic. I had an amazing view of Rome from the balcony, and the suite was well appointed. The staff was helpful and professional, and the grounds were very well maintained. I will absolutely give this hotel top consideration when coming back to Rome.

This hotel features exquisite decor and a breathtaking veiw of of the ancient yet modern city of Rome. The menu is exceptional and well thought out, providing flavours appealing for every palate. Comfortable and reasonable shuttle service is provided from the hotel to a central location in the city center to allow guests to explore dining, shopping and the history of Rome. The pools, spa, gym are all beautiful....every feature has been carefully planned and placed for absolute guest enjoyment.

In my opinion the best feature, the warmest feature, are the caring and helpful staff. Everyone from the moment of check-in to the moment of departure were absolutey lovely!!! Please forgive me for the lengthy review, however I'd like to once again express my gratitude here:

Thank you for the recommendations...the Spanish Steps were more beautiful then I could imagine.
Much gratitude for helping to organize our reservation at La Pergola....the experience was absolutely exquisite!
The housekeeping staff on the 5th floor are amazing (and I can imagine on the other floors)...every detail in the room was perfect. It was lovely to receive a "Royal Welcome" for such an ordinary girl as myself.
Restaurant staff from morning to evening service were friendly, courteous, and ever attentitive.
And most of all, abbracci and a wide smile full of gratitude for your Lounge Bartenders....the ambassadors of service.

I have been to a wine tasting, high professionalism, kindness and care from the staff, but I think the design and furnishings of the wine must be taken care of, so to look less cheesy to conform even more history and rich wine culture of our country, from the rest excellent selection of wines and the hotel has always been an excellent place of welcome of the capital.

Amazingly beautiful. Great shuttle bus. The driver Maximiliano is a gem! U fortunately the big outdoor pools were not available. No kids activities. We chose the hotel because of the activities but that's only available during summer. The spa was beautiful but I got a therapist that smelled like a fog of smoke, hmeven her fingers. Felt awful.

Beautiful views of entire Rome. Craftsmanship is amazing. So much to see inside. Felt like we were staying in a museum located in a beautiful park. Shuttles every 30 minutes to piazza berberini. Staff is wonderful.

I stayed here over New Years 2012-2013 and it was magnificent! True, it's not centrally located to the city center, but that is exactly what makes the views of the city so spectacular. I opted to walk to and from the hotel every day, the hill was just enough of a calorie burner that I ate what I wanted and never gained weight while I was on my vacation.

I really was really looking forward enjoying my stay at this former Hilton that was reflagged as Waldorf Astoria, but ended up cutting my stay short and moving to St Regis.

I was aware of the Cavalieri's shortcomings because I had stayed there previously which include an utter mess at the breakfast and challenging location unless you intend to spend the entire time stay put.

Diamond member benefits also here are non-existent. I guess that they can rely on guests who stay once and never return.

One of the best hotels in Rome, on a mountain with beautiful views and a small distance from the center. Here you will not see crowds of tourists from the windows and will not distract you from the contemplation of the Basilica of San Petro and the Roman panorama!

I would have given 4 stars but the food was not great, which is somewhat surprising given the hotel hosts Rome s only 3 Michelin star restaurant. To be clear though, we only ate at the hotel Restaurants. Stayed a week for a work conference. Views from the bedrooms on the Rome side are amazing. On the other side - not so much. Good view of the TV Tower. 8 euros for a water in the room seemed a bit steep too. Also a long way our of the centre of Rome but they do provide a shuttle bus. Anyway, for a Waldorf Astoria hotel I would have expected more.

One of the best Hilton brand hotels I've stayed at. Staff makes sure you feel important as a diamond member. I was here on New Year's Eve and the city view was spectacular for watching all the fireworks. The only thing I can say that is negative is that I wish there was some sort of Lounge for diamond members. There is an "Imperial Lounge" but you have to be on that floor or pay for it. But I understand that this is standard at Waldorf hotels. Over all 5 stars!!!

1 star for the location of this hotel, it is truly a pain to get to and so out of the way. But it is beautiful, majestic, has great rooms, nice spa facilities (much like an ancient Roman Bath or Therme) but best of all is Breakfast. Seriously, whatever it costs, it's worth it. Having breakfast here is so good it should be on everyone's bucket list.

The only hotel in Rome with a pool... essential in the gorgeous Summer heat. Do the walk to the Vatican on a Sunday morning to take in the most incredible views of Rome. A bit dated inside and not a bit like the more up-to-date WAs in other European cities. What is lacks in elegance, it makes up for in fun.
