Good food and service. Squeezed six of us in during a busy Sunday lunch but made us feel welcome and unrushed. Three course menu was packed with great choices. An easy walk down from the Ballsbridge Hotel.

I was at Roly's yesterday and this is my favourite place to eat in Dublin. Nice atmosphere, pleasant and professional staff. The food is gastronomic and delicious, and with a great variety in the menu, everyone will find something gorgeous to eat.
I would recommend this place if you haven't tried it yet!

It is imperative that you try the Swiss roll, of course the Swiss roll was invented here and named after the propietors mother; Swissly Roly. They blue cheese and strawberry sourdough is excellent, but a little pungent.

I've been twice at Roly's and it does not appeal to me. It's a bit over the top with respect to: a lot of description and presentation of the food but it does not deliver on a good diner experience. To me.. some other people could think differently.

Tiny and expensive couverts which don't surprise in taste. Drinks are expensive for the quality of wine. Waiter not responding quickly. Is this normal for Dublin? No. Go to Shelbourne Social, about 300m and experience a lot better of all this. Also you could have a good Italian experience across the road at Borchetta. Sorry. But I got challenged by owner to explain the review.

Have visited Roly's a number of times and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. Our recent visit with friends was probably the best yet with friendly attentive staff, excellent food through all courses which was enjoyed by all. Will be back

First visit: Great food, nice interior, lovely staff, although some of them were a bit inexperienced. All round very nice, but pretty pricey. Second visit: involved poor beer, but replaced, very average Kerry pie, unpleasant and bland vegetables.

Nice restaurant but a bit expensive. Bistro upstairs is white table cloth. Downstair is more casual with pretty much the same menu that's just a euro or two less expensive. We had the pre-theater 2 course fixed price dinner ... parmesan crusted chicken and salmon. Add a drink and a glass of wine and we were appropriately for about USD95.

Got a collection tonight and under these circumstances I understand nothing will be perfect but this was absolutely disgusting. The starter looked as if it was thrown into a box and certainly not worth what we paid.

Ok

There was no meet & greet at door(but it was busy) waited a couple of minutes before someone came to us. After that service was very good. Quick service of courses, I didn't finish my mains just because it was a very big burger. Had coffee & small dessert. After we asked for bill waitress said she discounted it was she thought that I had an issue with my main because I didn't finish it, I did not (I was just full) main was very tasty! But the discount and thought of doing it shows excellent customer service.
