Good bar in Ballsbridge. Can get very busy on match days
Very nice place to enjoy jazz.. food very good .. I really recommend..
Very busy for lunch but with good cause, the food is really quite good.
It's a shame that the tables are very close in some areas, which partnered with the busy staff means you can get jostled.
This place is awesome! Great food, great service, friendly and attentive staff, agreeable prices, amazing interior and such an interesting history.
Went two times here for office lunch. Good place, nice staffs. Good and fresh food.
Fantastic pub located right in centre of Dublin brilliant staff & great food! Lively at night. Highly recommended!
Good pub with good food and better beer. Very good atmosphere. Highly recommended
Heard good things, average food, poor service and our cab driver just said that he had people last night complain about the food in that kip
Large pub in Dublin's Baggot Street. Good range of beer and decent bar food with good service. Decent range of Irish craft beers available.
Well known as a rugby pub, this is a good venue to watch matches if you're not at a game.
For sure get reservations if want to dine. Busy and lively atmosphere. Great desserts too!
The food was awesome and large portions for the price and the wait staff were friendly. The beer selection could be improved but over all an awesome place.
Went here on a Friday with a colleague for lunch. Place is pretty crowded but very big. We were seated at the bar which we didn't mind. It was less noisy at the bar than at the table service. Service is pretty quick and friendly. The menu has a wide variety of choices. Was happy to see they offer more than just pub grub. My colleague had the roast chicken and i had crispy duck noodles. Both were very good and very filling. The duck skin was indeed crispy. Would definitely recommend during lunch times.
Top bar for service. Get a spot in the snug which gives more or less personalised access to the bar.
Stopped in for a drink after work. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were exceptionally polite and friendly and offered table service for our drinks.
6 nations weekend. They played music during the first game and refused to put on the commentary despite many people asking. This is not a rugby pub.
Jolly atmosphere with 3 distinct sections. Bar vibes: dark with high tables, restaurant vibes: table seating, and an outdoor seating area. Excellent Guinness treacle bread, steak was just so-so.
Lovely meal. Service excellent. Would highly recommend
It's a nice place with reasonable prices. The good thing about this place is that it has some relatively quiet areas as well.
Great for a Sunday jazz session, food is simple but good bar food and I would recommend if in the area.
Before all black rugby match it was very very crowded.
just had a great night here very friendly staff and good atmosphere to watch a game. Great night thanks to floor staff for a prompt service. Tom & Alice
Excellent hostelry with a brilliant selection of quality whiskeys
Good big pub, popular on rugby match days and after work drinks.
The lamb special featured great lamb chops however the au gratin potatoes are what lured us back the next evening!
Very nice typical Irish bar. Every pint I ordered was draught perfectly, the music is good and the toilets are clean.
Not impressive selection of beers, interiors with no soul, too hot inside.
Quite a decent place but mostly caters to a professional crowd around Ballsbridge. Menu is not huge but offers good diversity. Good beers and cocktails
Nice pub with a huge collection of whiskey. The food (A little expensive) is really good in the Searsons. During the week-end nights and specially during the sports events in the closer AVIVA Stadium, this pub is the place to be if you didn't found a ticket. Great atmosphere also on Sunday afternoon for the "Sunday Jazz".
Authentic irish pub serving the tastier breakfeast in town, nice and polite staff, amazing quick service, highly recommend!
Top Guinness. Top bar. Here on business. Very welcoming..
Quite a decent place but mostly caters to a professional crowd around Ballsbridge. Menu is not huge but offers good diversity. Good beers and cocktails
Good for after work drinks, and sports, but no great shakes otherwise.
Loads of room. Good food and beer. Great atmosphere.
Always pa ked.but somehow I always get a seat great spot for after work drinks and one of the few remaining places in Dublin you can hear a conversation in a boozer
I like Searsons! They could do with a bit more live music though... The idea of Jazz on a Sunday has turned a lot of people I know away... Would be a great venue to have a band at...
Excellent pub. Great pub grub. Always completely packed after of before a game at the Aviva.
Pretty bad. The worst service I have had in Dublin. Waited over a hour for breakfast. Given a pot of tea at the beginning with no tea spoon. I asked three servers for a tea spoon completely ignored for 40 minutes. Breakfast plates left throughout our stay. Although three servers had come at different times to the table plates where not removed. Ended up cleaning of the table myself whilst waiting on the second breakfast. The first arrived 20min before the second. To top it all off served a powered coffee as as a Americano coffee. This place i would not recommend at all. The one star is for the waitress that tried her best to fine are breakfast that we waited on patiently for a hour and a half. It was so oblivious that the staff were not trained in waiting tables. They were so abrupt when asked for a menus, tea spoon and the breakfast that was lost in the kitchen.
