The selection of hats, boots, clothes, tack, and gear is great. I was sad not to find hats by Stetson. But many other brands were present. There are two store buildings. The team were very helpful in pointing me to the other building while attending to their work. Looked like a cobbler was making adjustments to a pair of boots in the store closest to the street. A few hats and many caps there as well as all manner of Western wear. The treasure trove of hats was in the back building. A fun place with good people, Rod's is a palace.

Very friendly staff. Lots of apparel. Could not find my boot size, however, was only browsing at the time so didn t inquire to see if they had in stock. Items I looked at seemed reasonably priced

The staff were very friendly and answered my questions and were quite helpful. All the items I saw on the online catalog were present in the store. The checkout was pleasant , the shopping experience was well above average , very rare nowadays . Thanks

I am surprised at all the negative comments. I have had nothing but good dealings with Rods. They have always been helpful and if not knowledgeable, they have looked to find the answer. Nice quality and affordable.

Poor customer service...emails saying that I neede...

Poor customer service...emails saying that I needed to track the lost package and it was my responsibility to do so. Needless to say. I have already did my part to locate the package. Pretty much assumed I was a liar. I will never use this company again and I have also made a formal complaint to Amazon. Very Disrespectful!!

I ordered a pair of shoes that said they would be here in 7-10 days. I waited almost 20 days so I called Them they said they would call me back later in the day never did. I finally called them again and they said it would take 2 months to get my shoes. Ridiculous

I don't recall the lady's name that assisted me the last time, she was maybe 5'6, blonde hair and worked in boots. I was trying on all sorts to gauge what looked best on me and she fawned over my 7 month old daughter and was excited to fit her for boots- a service which I sadly had to decline- once I was done my husband had taken her to the car and decided to wait. Rod's is a wonderful place to visit.

I will never again buy from Rods. The coustmer service is the worst. Ever time I call in to check the status of my boots. They tell me a longer date till they will have them in. And ever time they try to talk me into canceling my order. they really don't care about my business and sales. they are so rude. don't. buy from rods

Quality has deteriorated, within 1 wash buttons fell off. Second and 3rd wash on other shirts small spots of worn materials appear. Very disappointed in the quality.
The answer to Roda response is Angel & Premier and royal highness but the Rods brand is what deteriorated the fastest, hope this helps

I'm editing my review because I just received a thank you message from Rods and I should have been better at writing my review. My sister and I are from Western ny and order alot from Rods magazine, well we decided to road trip to Columbus just to go to Rods actual store. We started in the main store and the employees couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. They even let me charge my phone while we shopped. Then we went over to the tack building and the girls there stayed after closing hours to help my sister get exactly what she needed for her horses. We couldn't have been happier or had a better experience and we will definitely make the road trip again!

DO NOT ORDER FROM ROD'S WESTER WEAR!! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS RUDE! BILLED INCORRECTLY, WHEN CALLED TO HAVE BILLING CORRECTED, CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPLAINED IT WOULD BILL CORRECTLY ON CREDIT CARD, GIVE 24 HRS TO SEE APPROPRIATE CHARGE COME THROUGH, NEXT DAY STILL NOT BILLED CORRECTLY, CALLED BACK CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID COULD NOT HELP SINCE ORDER HAD ALREADY SHIPPED AND HUNG UP ON ME WHEN I ASKED TO SPEAK TO MANAGER!!!!

My first time in the store. Tremendous variety of Western clothing and boots with a huge inventory of in-stock sizes! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The tack store out back was equally impressive. An easy 5 out of 5 stars!

VERY RUDE customer service supervisor when tryin...

VERY RUDE customer service supervisor when trying to address my concerns via email about shipping notifications that THEY SENT ME. This person also blamed me for a completely different concern because I asked for economy shipping then implied that I should not to contact them again until the 10 day shipping window had expired. This was my first and now last experience with this company. There are plenty of other companies with caring customer service reps.

Rod's has a wide selection of great products, but they have poor customer service. Do not buy boots there, l will never make the mistake again. I had to send a pair of boots that were purchased there back to the company to be repaired, they haven't been able to give me a direct answer to when these boots will be sent to me. The managers have not returned any of my calls on this matter and do a poor job in communicating with me on the matter.

Thanks to to the new manager Ann I have gotten my boots finally. Unfortunately I have still had issues with the actual Lucchese boot, so I took them back to Rod's and they are fixing the issue in a great timely manor this go around. I would like to personally thank Ann for the great customer service. I really appreciate the timely feedback that I have received from her. Thanks Rod's for fixing my issue for good.

The young lady that helped me was nice, but they were mostly restocking and didn't have time to help customers. I was going to buy boots, but lack of interest on their part caused lack of purchase on my part.

Ordered a hat from them through Amazon on 4/17/20 ...

Ordered a hat from them through Amazon on 4/17/20 and it has still not arrived and on Amazon is marked as most likely lost. I had emailed but Amazon has a separate inbox that I was not aware of so I did not see the replies stating it was on its way and here is the tracking link. ( appreciate the replies but still did not give me anymore information than I already had) so when I hadn't seen the response due to the Amazon "all messages" mix up I decided to call then directly. The first customer service lady was rude, talked over me, tried to tell me she had no manager at first, and then hung up on me. She told me they won't cancel the order so I just have to keep waiting. I call back and talk to another lady that is a lead. She was nicer(and appreciate her trying to help and being understanding of my frustrations of the companies policies.)and then later she did text me to tell me if it isn't here tomorrow they will refund it, but if the hat comes I have to return it.(which I understand) But after all the hassle and frustration after being plenty patient past the intended delivery date, I WILL NEVER be ordering from this company again! I understand they can't control the shipping but they could offer to give the refund without a HUGE stressful hassle. They can get their shipping cost back from FedEx. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in this company and their customer service!!!! *I did edit this review to include that I was sent email responses that I wasn't seeing. I appreciate this person's quick responses since. And I appreciate the refund. But I have spent A LOT of time and it has not been fun for nothing NOW. I just wouldn't take the risk again. I am out time and no hat. Could have ordered and received from elsewhere already:/
