Great food, slow service. If you are looking for a place to sit down and relax for a long romantic dinner, this is the place. If you are looking for a quick sit down, go to Denny's next door. The food is amazingly well prepared and plated. I have had amazing food every time I have been here, over 10 times, but the service is definitely designed for you to spend lots of time there, so go when you have at least an hour to sit and eat.

This is the worst restaurant I have been to in years. First it took 15 minutes for them to give us a menu! Who doesn t have the menus ready? On top of that the menu I had was filthy dirty (gross who wants to touch a dirty menu). The waitress never once asked if we needed anything. The food took over an hour to get. The food was cold and the ribs were dry (worst ribs I have ever had). The waitress didn t bother to ask us if we wanted dessert just gave us our receipt. THAN THEY ACTUALLY SHUT THE LIGHTS OFF AT 10 p.m. without anyone bothering to tell us they were closing. WHO DOES THIS!!! We were in a booth that had a step and I fell because I couldn t see at all. I was here on a date and everyone has asked me where we went I have told everyone at work my family, friends what a rotten dirty place this is. NEVER will I be back and I am 100% telling everyone never ever go here to eat. These mom & pop places wonder why they don t stay in business and this is why! It s basic treat a paying customer right, be clean, get good wait staff and make good food. Rockwoods will be out of business for sure because they aren t going to get repeat customers.
My girlfriend and I have wanted to try Rockwoods for several months. Valentine's Day, or the 13th I should say, we decided to have our date night there. The food was incredible! Our steaks were cooked to perfection, melt in your mouth! We love the atmosphere and the service was great too! We're not "drinkers" but we do occasionally have one. Luckily for us, our waitress steered us toward something that fit our palettes. Don't take my word for it, try yourself, you won't be disappointed.

The venue is great with a cute train in the waiting room that goes around the restaurant. The service was outstanding and best of all the prices were crazy good and very unexpected.
Visiting for a paid dinner informational meeting. Food was great with huge portions. They would not let us have the left overs. It is a shame that over half our meals went to the garbage.
We've dined here many times. They out-do themselves with their brunch, which includes a chocolate fountain.

SALTY!!!!!! Food portions are great, they were really good with large crowds and prices were reasonable. Great for groups! Now if only they could cut the salt in the food. Everyone in our group had the same complaint.
The Rockwoods staff were great to work with! They made planning the wedding so easy and fun! They are very helpful and anything you wanted done for your big day was accomplished by the amazing team!! The best part was they did all the set up and teardown and you didn t have to worry about it on the day of the wedding! You could fully enjoy your day with no stress! I would highly recommend this venue!
Great food, really friendly service, and great drinks! Our server let us sample every beer they had on tap before deciding! Wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone looking for bar food, comfort food, and good drinks with friends.
We had wonderful food served at our event for United Way - Jason and Carrie were absolutely awesome in dealing with people and very generous of themselves.
Visited this restaurant while we were at a conference in Minneapolis. We had heard specifically about Suzanne the magician who visited us at the table. The food was fantastic and arrived in massive proportions. Suzanne was wonderful and we very much enjoyed ourselves. Excellent atmosphere and our waitress was fantastic. First time at Rockwoods. The service was fantastic and the waitress was very engaged and helpful. The food was good. My pasta was a little overcooked, soupy and bland, but my wife's pot roast dinner was fantastic! 5 stars for the great service!

Rockwood closed for the hairball. Bad idea. The amount of revenue you lost to serve liqour and food is ridiculous! We showed up early to eat and drink becore the hairball concert and your facility was closed. Sad yo say we probably would never go out of our way to come back knowing you had little conern for keeping peiple happy duri g your event. Hamburger and hotdog stand isn't accomindating your patrons. Needless to say Draje O'Neills stepped up and took care of your entire custoner base!!
Great food and friendly service. I had the smoked chicken street tacos with black bean corn salsa, they were excellent! You could tell the smoked chicken from their house made BBQ really packed in the flavor, it so much more interesting than your usual chicken taco. We will be back!
Unimpressed. Last two times I have been there the dinners were second rate at best. The Prime rib was chewy as hell. I had been wanting to try the seafood boil what a major disappointment was.

They helped us host the first annual Celebration of Not Dying. We had a battle of the bands. We raised money for 2 charities. What a great place and the staff was awesome.

The Sunday Brunch is great! I only gave it 4 stars because the prices are a bit higher than I would normally pay. Oh and the summer concerts really lack in talent recently!
One of our favorite place to go. Love the Bonfire Wednesdays! What a great idea...free music for families til 10...awesome! Usually have wondeful service & the food is on point. We especially Love when Mackenzie Hautala is our server!
Brunch buffet is good. Just get it on the early side.

We weren't sure what to expect but we had a great experience for our first time! They have multiple dining rooms, one had a train circling above! We had a very nice, quiet dinner for a Thursday night. Their patio was very busy. Awesome streak dinner and salads, we are looking forward to our next dinner out!
We had a great time with our group of 26. From planning the event room to execution, all the staff were awsome to work with. I apologize that I cannot remember everyone's names. Megan, and others in the event office, Jake one of the restaurant managers, and our server Michelle and the young gal that helped her out. All of these folks along with others made our small get together seamless and very pleasant. The food was great, I didn't her anyone say anything bad about any of the entrees, everyone said the meals they chose from the the full menu were good to really good. We truly cannot thank all of you Rockwoods for a great experience and we will be recommending as well as returning ourselves. Thank you for a great evening.
The En Feugo burger was excellent and the Burnt Ends Nachos were amazing.

Food was good. One star taken for the excessive amount of bugs flying in and around our food. And another star taken for OK service, but closed dining area, and had to have kids in bar area 2 hours b4 closing

Prime rib was good as was the lobster tail dinner but the Juicy Lucy burger was raw inside. The servers were friendly enough but always hate when you have to wave them down for a refill on pop. Poor lighting but nicely done restaurant.

This is my second and final visit here. The bar was full so we were seated in the dining room. We ordered beers and tossed around food options. At that time we asked, the server never offered, about happy hour appetizers. She said she didn't know if there were any, brought us the menu, and then proceeded to tell us that we couldn't order happy hour apps because they ended at 6, it was 6:03. I get that it's $3 off but its the principal of it! Our beer orders were on the ticket before 6 and we were not allowed to get discounted apps 3 minutes after it ended.
I also had onion skin on my onion! Not coming back.
Had the buffet for a business meeting and it was fantastic! Great atmosphere and good food!
