Be sure to have a clear understanding of their charges up front. They charge an average of $600 per hour. I was there for 2 hours and told them I didnt want the hot and cold packs and the electrical stimulator ( tens unit) but they did it anyway. An ice pack sitting on my elbow was $125. Hot pack $125. Anyway. 2 hours and they charged me $1200. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And it turned out they tore a tendon in the process. It hurt way more after they worked on it.

John West Therapy is the place to go if you have issues. I have been greeted each & every time with a smile. They are EXTREMELY helpful, conscientious, definitely know what they are doing and I take issue with anyone that says differently. I can walk without a cane because of John at John West Therapy. Everyone is Wonderful there.

This is the worst experience I have ever had in a medical facility. The customer service was horrible. I drove more than half an hour to get to my appointment and was turned away for just being a couple minutes late which is absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional.

Here s my experience. I had total knee replacement and called John West (JW) the day of the surgery to schedule my PT. Wife gave them all the insurance information. So, they called 2 days later saying the insurance info did not go through. They did not have the correct information. Resent it via scanning it and emailed it. Showed up 3 days later for first session. Was told no approval yet. No problems, had first PT session. Showed up today ((Monday). Was told no approval yet. So I get on the phone with United Health. So, United says they have no record of West submitting anything to them and they give me a special number for West to call. Young lady on front desk says she submitted it. I tell her United has no record of it, can she call them? Answer is no. She says she cannot call, has to wait. So, here I am, United says they don t have any record of it, young lady at West will my talk to United. Amazing. So, I am going To find someone else to do my PT.

Update - 2/21 - Looking back, I am glad this happened as I found Oakbend Rehab just off of West Alabama. In my opinion they are way better than John West. Would recommend them highly.

This is a very diverse clinic that offers excellent physical therapy and rehab. Great service and I felt comfortable returning there for my appointments. Also the staff there seem very caring and answered all my questions in a meaningful and concerned manner. 10/10.

Very attentive and through care. Great aqua therapy program, one of the few in the area. As a chronic pain patient for nearly ten years I have seen my share of facilities, and John West is part of the best.

If you use the aqua therapy program be sure and request John P.
John is an excellent therapist who is very attentive to his patients condition, welfare and physical improvement. He is by far the most receptive therapist I have used to date.

I would highly recommend the Aqua Therapy at John West. This is the third time I've needed PT over a period of about eight years and this is my best experience yet. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and work with you in both scheduling and billing.

There is an physical therapist dedicated specifically to the pool (also named John) who understands the different needs of patients in the water. Safety and attention to detail is practiced every single session and the atmosphere in the pool area is positive and friendly - but also non intrusive. John monitors, communicates, corrects if need be and encourages you every step of the way. Not only does he help you learn, but he explains what's happening to your body in a way that makes you want to work the right way, to not just get through it. If you're having a particularly "sore" day, John will take into account your needs and adjust accordingly. This is definitely the best place to have aqua therapy.

I enjoy my new aqua therapist! There have been problems in the past when my boyfriend completed his therapy but seems to be better for me. My personal experience is that their therapists are caring and helpful. The billing dept may not share the same loyalty and ethics, but still a good place to go.

The staff there are second to none. I highly recommend going here!

Great rehab facilities. I was sent to rehab after falling and straining my groin at a Larping competition. Several visits and I was back to Larping in no time.

Read before you go , if you have someone you care about do not go there. Very rude, unprofessional, and the worst customer service.

Im giving it a star more than what the company actually is only because the therapists there are so caring! They're the only ones that keep this clinic together. Too bad, people in management don't appreaciate them, or anyone that has been very loyal to the company.

It's so sad seeing John West Therapy clinics go downhill because of very, very, very, bad management. These clinics use to be so wonderful and full of happiness, until Nasreen (the new lady in charge) took over. She makes money the priority of the clinics, rather than keeping patients happy. These clinics have lost so many loyal and happy patients, as well as employees.

Very unprofessional, rude, and have bad customer service. I had my first paid appointment for an assessment at 1:30. I arrived at 1:38 and the receptionist said you are late so we will reschedule your appointment for another day. Are you kidding me? If I am a few minutes late to visit the US president he would let me in. I canceled and I am going to another therapy place.

My neurologist recommended over a year ago that I go to John West. I was very impressed with the facility and staff starting with the first visit. They are professional, knowledgeable and the therapists are friendly, patient and caring. I was fortunate to connect connect with a therapist who seems to be a perfect fit for me. I am very happy with my progress. I look forward to to each visit. I recommend John West Therapy whole-heartedly

Absolutely love this facility and it's staff! The facility itself is beautiful and always clean, but the staff are what make this place great. They're always friendly, helpful, and caring, they make you feel just like family!
