George has been professional, helpful and concientious, but mostly patient and calm!! A big thanks too to Debbie who has definately gone the extra mile to help me. What a team! I highly recommend Roc.

Very disappointing experience. After I applied for a job I got contacted by Roc via email that they would like to meet me and would come back with suitable dates and times. So your hopes get raised. After having not heard from them after one week I contacted the person who emailed me. My polite question was if they are still intersted in seeing me and when it would be convenient. I did not get a reply back. This behaviour is very unprofessional and disrespectful. It might be only this particular person in this agency (and knowing who this person in this company is makes it even worse) who deals with job seekers like this, but that is how you get a bad impression from an company.

Staff might be nice and friendly, suggest roles for you but can't find the time to return calls or emails after interview conflicts. Seems like they don't want to put the time in for you just meet their targets

As one hoping to be a long term contractor, I have dealt with a few agencies before and think I've had quite a lucky streak with the last two, having dealt with Roc Recruitment.

I recently completed an interesting short term contract as a Data Gatherer with a great client in an excellent working environment and I appreciate Liam still considered me for the role after I explained my varied commitments and preferences with the distance I was willing to commute to at the moment (with the choice of two client sites) - very important to me, especially with the way some agencies operate nowadays.

The contract ran smoothly from start to finish and I wouldn't hesitate to get in touch with them again once I complete my further studies or indeed if a similar contract came up again. Professional throughout, I'd recommend.

Always a pleasure working with Roc Recruitment and they are keeping me busy with interim temp work. I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for perm or temp work.

If you're a person of colour they wont help you. Was in contact for a few days with a few consultants and it seemed very promising. Then had a face to face meeting with the few which seemed to go well, I have a great professional experience especially in sectors they always recruit for. As soon as that was over have not heard back from anyone, left a few emails and one month later absolutely NOTHING.

+ Liam helped get me a temp role at Unite Students. He was quite friendly and helpful, easy to work with and a great representative of your company.

- But the job spec was not accurate because temps were hired for the same position but had a varied work load depending on what site you were based at. Cleaning aspect was played down on the job spec or not even mentioned (but highlighted to a small degree during interview) but this was 60-70% of the role at Stratford one. My key advice for Roc Recruitment would be to please get a more precise advert from your company clients so you can manage expectations and not over sell something so people know what they're in for. Also a proper system to confirm the duration of the job should be in place.

One particular lady very rude. avoid this agency. if shes having a bad day she should not be taking it out on potential candidates.

Roc recruitment are possibly the best recruitment agency I've registered with thus far. I've only been with them for a short amount of time, but in that time, i've already attended interviews and my recruiter Georgina constantly calls me up with new job opportunities. I'm very impressed with their service and would highly recommend them.

Not answering the phone for the past week, tried calling multiple days at different times, emailing them directly and requesting a callback on there website. Useless.

Triona found my cv online and contacted me for a position that suited my skills, kept me up to date and contacted me in a few different platforms to insure I got the messages which was great. The role wasn t quite for me but a week or so later she put my cv forward for a role at the Starbucks hq which I never would of applied for thinking I was under qualified for the role!
After going to the Interveiw I thought I d messed it up and feedback to her doubting myself but she reassured me I was very qualified for the job.
I can t thank her enough for just taking the time to give me the confidence I needed to get through the interview and even the wait till heard back from them to say I d been offered the position!
I m 5 weeks in now and loving my new role! Keep up the good work ROC!

About 3 months ago O signed up with ROC as they had phoned me as they said that they had found my CV and I was suitable for a role they were recruiting for. I went to register with them (which was out of my way) and they left me waiting for ages in reception whilst they were all talking about personal things. They said they would send my cv off for this particular job yet they did not contact me about it again. They have yet to contact me regarding other roles or for a check in. I am working for a prestigious company and I have good experience and skills. I feel that I wasted my time registering with them and that they just wanted me to register to keep their numbers up.

Liam Heaphy - the best consultant I've ever met in my whole career! Absolutely friendly person with an extra professional attitude. He won't leave you without an answer to any questions, and his work is absolutely on the highest level. All the stars go to him!

I had been searching for a new role for nearly two months when I was contacted by Brierley who had seen my CV on an online site. I was put forward for a role and made it to the final round but eventually the role went to someone else.

However, another role came up at the same company and they remembered me from my interviews for the previous role. Triona called me and I went for another interview. It took three weeks from interview to receiving the offer but I did get the job!

I'm really grateful to Brierley, Triona, Debbie and the team for helping me land my new role. If Brierley hadn't seen my CV and thought that I might be a good fit for my new company, I might still be looking. I find it very ironic that it was the agency that approached me first, that helped secure me a new role, yet the ones who I approached first didn't.

Their consultant, Liam, was very helpful and professional when placing me a short-term role. Would use this agency again.

Avoid - rubbish agency.

Phoned me saying they found my CV and talked about perspective job and asked to register. Upon arrival they kept me in the reception for over 20 min without anyone acknowledging my presence. It was very hot day but the agent that eventually came to see me was dressed inappropriately- long boho dress is definitely not acceptable and couldn't answer any of my questions about the job and of course never get back to me. Avoid- not worth your time.

George contacted myself in February (2019.. I have to say, my first impression was that he was friendly and professional at the same time.

In between my interviews, he was supportive and extremely encouraging (especially when I was unsure about the role).
However, I cannot thank him enough and delighted to say that I have started the role as Store Manager and I have no regrets. If you ever encounter George, you will be in safe hands- Thank you George!! :)

Very bad experience why ask someone to come all the way if you knew you did not plan to help them the experience I have received due to my race has been horrid. This company should not be existing.

I initially applied for a Data Gathering role which was advertised on another recruitment website by Roc Recruitment. I was then contacted by Liam, and invited to visit the office in order to register with them. I have now carried out 2 Data Gathering roles with Roc, and have also carried out a number of reception and data entry roles as well. Liam has been a very professional consultant, and I appreciate all of the roles he has made me aware of.

Worst experience liam heaphy was so rude i asked for a pen and he threw it at me aggressively nearly hit my face. He didnt even call me after. Vile and narcissistic arrogant nasty piece of work! Avoid this disgusting human being!!! He just walked off and refused to shake my hands!!!

Worked with Esso Tadley for 2 years. Joined as Sales Assistant and climbed up the ladder and became supervisor of the same store. Had to resign and leave the country because the validity of my visa was ending. Best place to work. Very friendly management, good working atmosphere. Wish I could go back to UK and join Esso again.

Unprofessional company I spoke to a member this company who stated they were interested in my CV, and we mutually agreed a time they would call back to discuss the role. 5 mins before they were due to call the person emailed me stating I needed to send a copy of my CV before we speak even though they had seen my CV prior, hence organising a time to call. Another time was mutually agreed. I sent my CV before the scheduled time, but the person did not call as agreed, and has ignored emails ever since I am currently researching the legitimacy of this company as I find it very strange for a company to request a candidates personal details, organise a conversation via the telephone on more than one occasion then suddenly disappear when personal details have been obtained, after viewing some of the comments from other users I am not the only person who has had a bad experience with ROC Recruitment

These guys are absolutely amazing, especially Valerie in particular (she was defiantly my favourite agent I had come across within the whole recruitment process, she was extremely helpful and was constantly trying to help on every level and had really put herself out there.) I cannot recommend them enough!!!!

My recruiter was Liam heaphy. When arrived upon registration he was very surprised and refused shake my hand because of my nationality. I was extremely mortified such racism exist in the current society we live in. Also to add he evidently never bothered again after that meeting. Racism should not be tolerated in workplaces! Be prudent before you sign up here as Liam does not want to help people of mixed nationality.

Within a day they were able to secure an interview for me. Credit to the team.
