My wife and the kids and I all went to Roaring Springs for the first time this year. We got there later in the day due to having to work but planned on staying till they closed. My wife had to leave after being at Roaring Springs for an hour, but was only gone for about 45 minutes. Before she left, I gave her the receipt just in case she needed it to get back in. While she was gone for 1 hour, she had washed her hands once and used hand sanitizer (due to covid she is extra cautious). Once she got back to Roaring springs her stamp had washed off, well luckily she brought her receipt, at least thats what we thought. They would not let her in and our only choice was to buy another ticket or to leave. Well obviously we are not going to pay twice for the same person, so they made our whole family leave and ruined the rest of our night JUST BECAUSE she was being extra cautious to help do her part by washing her hands and helping keep the community safe. This is horrible customer service. Moral of the story, if you want to follow roaring springs policies, don't wash your hands if you leave, and your receipt means nothing

We went for a company picnic and had a blast! I've lived in Boise my whole life and remember the old wild waters from when I was a kid and had never been to Roaring Springs before. It was definitely a good time! I loved the lazy river and wave pool. I'm not really into water slides so wasn't sure there'd be much for me to do and was pleasantly surprised. As part of the company picnic we also did pizza and salad dinner and it was all good. Everyone was happy and full! I wish we'd gotten there a little earlier in the day so we could have spent more time there! All the kids had fun, even the youngest who was scared to get in the water at first!

An enjoyable annual day trip. We only go once a year because the kids ask to go, otherwise we wouldn't miss it. The only thing that makes the trip worth it are the cabana rentals and first rate service, I wouldn't go without a cabana. The food is extremely expensive and third rate, but the rides still keep the kids entertained, for now.

I went to Roaring Springs with some friends and we were really impressed with the safety and precautions employees were taking. I liked how my temperature was taken making me feel comfortable. Not many businesses are doing this. Staff was friendly, the park was clean, and I noticed Food and Beverage employees cleaning and wiping down tables. If you are wanting to enjoy your last few days of summer, I would highly recommend checking out Roaring Springs Waterpark! Will be back again!

Fun place but WAY overpriced. $38 per adult and $28 per kids is a bit much. If there were braclets for slides and people who just want the river or pools thats would be nice. Food is pretty expensive for low quality. The food area staff didnt smile or have any personality. A simple smile goes a long way. The staff in the gift shop were great!

I had a lot of animosity about going because I have never been there before and I was not sure what to expect, my wife and granddaughter talked me into going. Once I got there and checked everything out I was able to relax and enjoy the rest of my surprise I recommend going and checking it out for your self. I have PTSD and not one time did I get to uncomfortable.

This is the best place to stand in line in SW Idaho. I've been here three times. The atmosphere is varied, according to the weather and capacity. There are numerous slides of varying entertainment, and other fun things to do.
Unfortunately, the place is stuffed to 300% capacity anytime the weather is warm. You usually freeze to death on the stairways in the persistent winds, even on calm days. But it is a terrible value because they never turn anyone away, even if the lines go all the way to WalMart across the street. This place needs to be 3-4 times the size to handle the 20,000 to 30,000 people there on any summer day.
The last time there I had a 20-30 minute wait on the tall slides, and gave up after a few runs. Not acceptable for $33. Done there.

We LOVE this place. Love that there's tons to do for all ages. Yummy food! This is one of our favorite places to go. Full day of family fun, cant beat that! The life guards do an excellent job watching over everyone too.

Yes it's a little pricey but they also have lots of promotions or deals that help with the entry. I went with a group of 16 ppl so we got a pretty good deal. The food inside is very expensive so you better prepare for that one if you have a big family. I went in around noon and didn't have a line to wait to get in, but we did have to park pretty far. My kids absolutely loved this place. Every slide had lines but they moved pretty fast. Not a lot of shade so try to get there early to be able to get room under the big umbrellas. Overall really good experience, we're definitely going back.

Really enjoy this place with the family, fun, friendly staff. Pools to play with the kids and slides for adults. Yummy snacks or you can get a stamp at the door and go to the many restaurants nearby. A must place to visit in summer time.

Pricey to get in, but completely worth it. Went on a Saturday for 6 hrs. My kids (9 and 10) had a blast! My husband and myself really enjoyed ourselves as well. Lots of different things to do. Lifeguards absolutely everywhere monitoring everyone. Didn't experience long lines for slides; lines moved quickly. Staff helpful. Park was well maintained and clean. They have a medical building with staff at all times ( we needed a bandaid and they were quick to help and kind). Bathrooms spread out, so no searching! Lots of tables and chairs with umbrellas. There were also plenty of lounge chairs as well. Free life vests all over! You just grab one if needed. Just be prepared to spend a little t of money on food and drinks!! Two water bottles were $7 alone. They do have different food options through out the park, along with different dessert places. All in all, well worth your money!

i dont know why everyone is complaining about the weight restrictions, it doesnt matter if your over 250 you just cant go down as a single rider then you need the double tube thats all. besides the weight restrictions are there for a reason like thunder falls, i saw a group yelling at the life guard cause they were over and she said they needed to split there group so she let them go AND THEIR RAFT FLIPPED!!! the life guard got fired for letting them go over the weight ristrictions.
the food is way to expensive for the amount you get its easier just to get a stamp on your hand and go to mcdonalds or something. last time i went the lines were short so you could go on any ride but most of the time racing ridge(the mat racing) is super long and just not worth it.

Daily staff are pretty decent here. We watched as some of them went out of their way to be nice or do something. All were pretty happy and courteous. We did have one problem and when we tried to go to upper management, it was like a deer in the head light look. He had no clue and just kept repeating himself. As long as you stay away from the upper management you will have a good time, but if you try to talk to them seriously be prepared to talk to a 6 year old and get a clearer answer and help. The water was very clear and the life guards in the wave pool are really attentive. Besides the upper management (manager on duty) we have had a blast all summer.

We bought season passes when they were on sale a few weeks ago. Yesterday we went for the first time since we got them. I was pretty disappointed that two of the slides with shutdown, they appeared to be running and functioning still, so I'm not sure why they were not in use. I was also disappointed in the fact that there was only one entrance to the lazy river. I understand it is because of covid-19, however it kind of defeats the purpose of ensuring people keep a 6-foot distance between others, when everyone is entering and exiting at the same entrance. It was not like someone was counting how many people were in the river at once, all the other entrances were just blocked off. The employees at the top of the couple slides I did go to were very friendly, and the kids had a lot of fun

We're visiting the Meridian area and my son spotted Roaring Springs so we had to go. It was a Tuesday afternoon so their promotion saved us $19 on admission.

The park was clean and the staff was friendly. We had a great time and we'll go back during our next visit to the area.

So fun!

For Southern Idaho, I can't complain. This is as good as it gets. I would say eat before you come but you will get hungry again. Food is spendy but decent for an amusement park. I wish they had 'fast pass' for rides.
