Great family time
Super fun place! Roaring Springs is a place I've visited and always had fun! The slides don't have too long of waits, and if they do, theyre worth the wait.
Favorite place in Idaho... the most friendliness service and staff members I've ever encountered... place is spotless - prices are fair... food costs are very reasonable unlike other major theme parks that over charge by tons.... highly recommend this establishment to any and everyone... the cabana rentals make it great to have a home base that kids can go to....
Love this park i've come here like every summer one of idahos hidden treasures
This place is great. Great for families. Our "almost" 3 year old had a blast in the kid area. The food selection was also a pleasant surprise. Price was reasonable. When I am in town visiting family, I will definatelt stop by if its summer time.
It was a wonderful day with my daughter and grandkids. Too bad of anxiety that kept us from having more fun than we did. Will be back next year! Very affordable for a whole day of fun.
Last year we went only twice. But this year we decided to get season passes. You can upgrade to a golden pass. Once you upgraded you can bring one person in with you daily. The rides there are amazing.I would recommend going in the afternoon when the lines for rides are a lot shorter. If you do go earlier, you won't be able to do as many rides. Other than that I think it is amazing.
Great place for kids. Just wish they'd have a closed section just for adults with a bar maybe. But great place to go cool off and catch some rays on our hot summer days. Couple more rides would be nice to help cut down on some of their long lines. Also they could lower their ticket prices too a little bit considering they charge a good amount for their food inside. Like the new grille the put in recently by the wave pool. The sliders and burgers taste pretty good and they cook it when you order it which is the way it should be. Would have gave it 5 stars if the things mentioned previously could be met but like I said the foods not bad and the kids have a great time more importantly. The kiddy pools great because you can walk around with your kids and cool you feet off at the same time. Bring plenty of sunscreen..
Gotta love a water park. The price is good to have a whole day entertaining kids. The slides are fun and the food is... Edible . The staff is generally nice and always helpful
Tons of fun for the whole family. Great prices for day and season passes and the rides are lots of fun.
A nice place to cool off at on a hot summer's day. I got a season pass and ended up going about 4 times during summer and a couple times before the end of the year the previous season. I definitely recommend the season pass if you're gonna visit more than two or three times. My only problem is getting bored since all of the new additions have been for kiddos. And prices for drinks and food are ridiculous.
Great way to waste a ton of money on a hot day. The best part is.. You get weighed 30 times in one day. Who doesn't love that? Swimming in a pile of bandaids in the wave pool is a blast as well! Don't forget the smells of some of the other guests.. They can be shocking!
Super fun! I go every summer with friends and family. Always a blast!
I loved all the rides and had a great time and would totally go again!
Lots of slides and water based attractions, but no standard swim pools or soaking tubs. But on a hot day, it's pretty awesome way to cool off; only problem is the price tag. Admission for two adults and one kids is $100; then there is the rules on no outside food or drink, to try and force you to buy their overpriced food (which is not bad food, necessarily, just ridiculously overpriced). The shade is a bit limited, but they have a lot of lounge chairs for relaxing.
If you want to make this worth it for a single day: bring water in clear water bottles (clear water in transparent bottle is only thing allowed), get there as early as you can (to snag shade) and plan to stay until close, bring lunch in a cooler in the car and use a reentry stamp to get back in.
I'm still looking into whether or not it is a better deal to get the season pass; I'll update once I've had a chance to look into that.
Took my family to Roaring Springs in August 2017 and had a great time. The price was affordable and they offer many different options and coupons throughout the season. While rafting down one of the big rides, my teenage daughter actually said to me, "I love hanging out with my parents!" I think it had a lot to do with the quality entertainment of water slides and other amenities at Roaring Springs. I liked the friendly and helpful staff, along with the added measure of safety and cleanliness about the whole park. We're heading back next season!
My boys had a blast and can't stop telling me about all the slides! My youngest son who loves french fries says the fries were the best.
Fun day trip for the family the luxury cabanas lacked and sort of luxury service though
Great water park, lines weren't to bad. Had all the fun slides!!
hard to get around due things being roped off but we had a good time
Great park. Excellent slides. I wish the lockers weren't all located at the front of the park.
Pricey entrance fee, and pricey food. Not too impressed.
It's wet. It's wild. It seemed to be LGBT friendly.
We had so much fun! The place is clean and there is so many fun slides!
My kids & I had a fantastic time. There are rides for all ages.
Staff works so hard to keep us safe! We have so much fun everytime being able to relax!
Great place to beat the heat. When parking, go to the west parking lot. Not only is it paved (as opposed to the dirt lot to the east), but there is more shade available, and the walking distance is about the same.
Was pretty fun. The staff was friendly and helpful. Just don't order food, over priced is to be expected but they are suuuppeeerrr slloooww.
A little more control in the lazy river would be nice.
Fun place to go and lots of stuff to do but the place is never open.
The rides are awesome and the food was good and well portioned even if the prices was a bit higher than it should have been!
This is everything you want in a water park. The lazy river is perfect. Seriously fun for all ages.
It was fun but rediculously long lines and food was expensive we only stayed for 3 hrs and most of the time was spent waiting in lines.
The price is quite high, then you have to pay an additional cost to get a locker to keep street shoes in if you walked from a nearby campground or hotel.
Always loved it here and they keep it nice and safe and clean and I appreciate that!
Really hot on your feet! Needs rubber mats or something if you can't wear shoes.
It was like bacon... wonderful. Unless you're vegan, it's still wonderful, just not as delicious.
One of the best ways to get out of the heat in the summer. Make sure to bring water shoes because your feet will get beat up by the concrete.
Fun place for the entire family. Friday/Saturday family slide night is great.
So much fun. Well done COVID changes made our family feel safe. Great slides.
I got the gold season pass which allows Me to bring a friend for free food is good the pizza is the best. The lines are long but the slides or worth it they have a good kitty pool you re kids can go down multiple slides in the new remodeled kitty pool. It s a good Experience
I think they should let people bring their own food and drinks in like in past years !! Why did this change ?
Hella fun!! The one thing you all need to figure out is how to keep your walk ways cool!!!
Too expensive. We went on a Monday to save $10 a person but still spent $164 for 7 people.
Very fun and nice staff. The water rides fill you with a mix of terror and joy at the same time. Would give it 5 stars if the rides like the one that drops the floor beneath didn't hurt as much afterwards.
Plenty to do. A little expensive but I got my money's worth the last time I went
very awful to their employees and the park is just overall gross
When its 100 or above this place is the perfect place to cool off!
We always have an amazing experience at Roaring Springs and Wahooz!!
This is the only water park in the Nampa, Meridian and Boise area and I believe the prices reflect this. They have gotten more expensive every year and the lines continue to grow longer. if you think you are going to do this more than one or two times a year I would recommend to pass. Expect long lines while you are at Roaring Springs
Its so nice. I love knowing that I can have fun for hours.
Loved it! Though I got a small bit of hair ripped out on the cliff hanger, I just kept going off! There is like never a line for this thing! The wave pool was fun, except for the fact that hope sweaty people with babies were in there.
I've been here a few times on family trips and the younger kids have a lot of fun. They don't seem to mind as much as adults about standing in line. The few times I've been, I haven't had a big problem with lines, probably because I try to avoid major holidays.
I would give them five stars if they let people bring in food and water
It is so much fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun
Lots of things to do and experience no matter what age you are.. and ya gotta do the lazy river!!
I was really excited to take my two boys, ages 2 and 10 months, to the new kiddie area of the waterpark. It is a really cute remodel with some of the same slides that they've had in the past. I was really impressed with all the things that entertained both boys since they are at different stages. They now have awesome mini donuts, funnel cakes, curly fries and spud on a stick at a little shack in the front. Getting a locker is a really easy process and I love that we were able to bring our own water and stroller. No outside food or drinks are allowed other than bottled water and baby food/formula. The only thing I was not pleased with was the food. We ordered popcorn chicken and fries. You could tell the fried food wasn't made to order and was instead kept in the warmer and served as ordered. Pretty much everything was soggy and gross, you could just tell it had been sitting there. Nothing was crispy or fresh. I could understand if there were a lot of people making a lot of food and serving it as ordered, but there was just us in line so I think food quality could definitely be improved. They have great deals running Monday-Thursday to help save you some money!
Lots of fun and nice staff members. I would reccomend eating before you get to the park though because the food is very overpriced. The lines are a little long.
This park is really great, but man is it popular! It gets busier and busier every year, it's even pretty full on the weekdays now too! But the wave pool is great, slides are fun, and the food prices aren't that bad either (though they are average theme park prices!) I guess the secret is out!
Well me and the family love coming here I can only give 4 stars at best due to the lines/cost factor. I wish they had a limit on how many people they let me in
Fun and clean place, my grandchildren love it, always a wonderful time.
Stood in lines longer than I actually spent having fun in the water. This place is always ridiculously packed and way overpriced. Once a year is about all I can take of this place. Its not worth it. I'd rather float the river or go to the meridian pool.
Absolutely packed and no pandemic safety measures at all. Very poorly done and a complete lack of any care for customers. This was a very poor experience
So fun! I love the "kronk" slide that drops you down. We say "pull the lever kronk!" And when we fall we scream "WRONG LEVER!"
Its great atmosphere and they have slides and areas for all ages
Awesome water park with lots of great rides and a friendly staff, my only complaint is that the food is horrible. I've tried a few different things they make and it was bad each time, just get snacks or eat before you go.
We brought our son there for his birthday and have a great time!
The lifeguards seem stuck-up. I would not recommend going if you are over 250 (even if you're a pound over) one of the lifeguards told me even if you are a pound over you still can't go. They take your weight at the top of the slide in front of everyone and have big lights above the scale so if it's green you're good if it's yellow for two people you're all so good but if you're going by yourself yellow is bad and you can't go and red means that you can't go down at all. If you have a bad experience don't call because they'll make it seem like it's your fault even if they did something wrong. This was my first experience and my last
Always a fun time. Had thing to do from his size to his older brothers
