The park itself is fun but the staff is uneducated about their attractions right down to not knowing height requirements for the slides they're attending!!! I found that a little disturbing and unsafe :-/

Love roaring springs! My 2 year old daughter has such a blast there! Cant wait til she is big enough for the big rides! Only thing is I think is expensive!
I've been to roaring springs once and thought it was a little boring. The upside of this amusement park? Great employees, most of them were interactive-asking us how the ride was and smiling, I thinks this is impressive in comparison to many other theme parks I've been to. Also no parking fees is very nice. On the downside there are not a lot of rides for the adrenaline junkies, it a small park and most of the rides are very short and evidently too delicate to handle very much wait :/ so bring the family, kids will have a blast and the pricing isn't too bad if you really stay all day. If your looking to go somewhere fun with friends- I'd suggest lagoon, 7 peaks, 6 flags, or somthing like those because there really aren't any thriller rides out here. May as we'll go to the YMCA!
Price in the website said 10$ off making it 17.99 and 22.99 For Monday there was no scheduled time frame on the website. When I arrived to roaring springs I was made to pay Full price
Went yesterday, wanted to give a little advice. Due to covid they are practicing social distancing so that's nice. What isn't is they have you wait in line on the concrete, with no tents or anything for shade. So you bake. Wait time averaged about 40 mins in the sun. Even the lazy river had a long line. Tubes are free to use which was nice. I figured they would have to be rented. If you are in line and have a different colored tube, go get the right one. We waited in line for an hour only to be told we couldn't go down a slide with our tubes because they were yellow, not blue. No difference except the color. So we were made to walk down the stairs, not able to social distance. Not allowed to just ride down. Unacceptable. Also, the lockers that fit two people's things and are 12 dollars. (!!!!) If there is three people it's more. Cash accepted only at entry. Seen people just take their clothes and other belongings and throw them on picnic tables which evidently, is accepted. So save your money on a locker. Signs to rides are confusing. Just some insight. For three people it was 80 bucks on a monday for admission. and that's with the 10 discount each.
Fun water park. A little spendy on the concessions and admission unless you have a season pass. Make sure you get the bottoms of your feet nice and tough before coming on a hot day.
All was good till my family raft flipped going down the big slide and launcing the other person on top of me causing me to slam against the bottom of the pool.
Love the new kiddie area. Season pass makes it easier to stay just a few hours and come back another day and stay a few more. Grandkids love Roaring Springs
Lots of Fun in the sun. But, it you want to join in with our the sun, they have may shade areas. I always stay in the shade and I always find a spot to hang out while the kids run around getting wet. Food cost is a little high so eat before you go.
A lot of fun that won't break the bank! This has been a favorite of mine since I was a kid and even more fun as a parent. It has something to offer for all ages, including shallow playgrounds, wave pool, lazy River, and rides of varying intensity.
A very nice place to enjoy the water with the family. There are a good variety of rides and activities for the whole family to enjoy. The park has been about adding new rides and features over the years. We enjoyed relaxing on the lazy river and the big wave ride was fun. The tube rieds are a lot of fun, too.
The life guards were amazing... Very professional and friendly. If going to Wahooz next door, save yourself a lot of money and buy both entries for $40 and use within 6 days for both venues. Great water park!
Came here from Oregon. We went here towards the end of the Season on a Thursday. Surprisingly, there were still a lot of people. Good Variety of slides for all ages, from the little ones to the big ones. Even on a Thursday, some of the slides has a 30 min wait time, I can't image this on a weekend.
This is the perfect place to take the family on a hot summer day in Boise. There is no way that you cannot have fun. The rides, the slides, the wave pool there is something for everyone. You can bring your picnic and feed the kids or you can buy food at the restaurants. Lots of fun, lots of activities, lots of laughs and lots of smiles. Have a great day! Roaring springs is fun for the whole family. Our favorite attraction is the endless river. Grab a tube and just float and float! They also have good food. Try the grilled hamburgers, cheeseburgers, or hot dogs with fries. We like the sub shop best.
Absolutely loved it! The new Bear foot bay is great! I have a two year old and she loved it! Slides and water fountains were perfect for her age. I really enjoyed this area because its perfect for infants, toddlers and young children who are not quite tall enough yet to ride them big Big Kid slides.. The lazy river is so enjoyable, and wave pool is awesome with some big waves ! The swimming pool is relaxing.. Staff is super friendly and helpful, food courts have many selections, nice gift shop, plenty of lounging space, clean restrooms and awesome prices.. We went on family slide night! Definitely a thumbs up! We went on vacation in June. Went to Knotts Berry Farm in California and went to knotts berry farm soak city and Roaring Springs I must admit is way better..
As soon as you enter, the staff is incredibly friendly. Everyone was polite. The park is super clean and beautiful. Everything is crystal clear and the staff is on top of spills, trash, etc. One of the negatives is that people have to wait in line for 10+ minutes and then see a sign that says there's a weight limit. The sign should be at the entrance of the line and there should be a scale at the entrance of the park so people know what them and their kids weigh. We had to wait in line for several minutes on NUMEROUS rides just to be turned down for the ride due to weight restrictions! Not to mention, the scales on the rides are not accurate because there was a significant difference in weight going from one rise to another.
Great water park especially mid-week. Look for coupons and deals it can be expensive. The ability to get a cabana gives you a little privacy especially while eating. I was visiting form the east coast (New England). Not too many water parks around this was a nice treat in the 100 degree desert heat.
It's a great place for families. It could be a little more handicap friendly. Possibly a warm water pool or something for seniors and people with limited mobility. Love the new children play area.
We spent the day here and rented a cabana. The staff were great and having a dedicated space was nice. It was super crowded but we got to enjoy the lazy river and wave pool like we wanted.
A great place for the family....but don't eat there. Very expensive food and poor food quality. Eat before you go or after. The water park is always fun and there is lots to do.
Love going here as a family each year. Clean and fun environment with both fast and slow activities so you can easily alternate and spend the whole day here without getting bored.
The last time that I went to Roaring Springs, there were NO restrictions! But today, when we went.... My family wasn't able to ride half the rides. Yes it is posted around the park, yes we still made the best of the situation, but it is embarrassing and discriminatory! If you don't weigh a certain weight, then you can't ride the rides!!! That's not how it use to be at all! They never had weight restrictions up until this year or the last. This is absolutely ridiculous. I would much rather drive down to Utah and go to Lagoon. They just lost my business, I was going to buy a season pass for next year. but not anymore. Thanks for saying that people who are 250+ pounds are NOT welcome in Roaring Springs
Actually I was next door at Wazoos Good place to spend an afternoon with family and friends. Lot's to do. $$$ if you want to eat, Great place to spend a couple of hours. It was raining when I was there, so all of the outside attractions were closed. Bummer.
Fun rids, lazy river & wave pool. During Saturday through Monday is really crowded. Lack of shaded areas is a draw back. There are a lot of areas that are lacking coverage and the pizza is ok but over priced.
My family and I travelled to Roaring Springs in Meridian, Idaho for a day of fun and lots of water. Mostly, it was a company event so we got to see lots of our old co-workers. Riding the tubes and water bumper cars can get quite competitive and lots of fun. We ended with some pizza at the restaurant and had a great meal. Lots of kids to compete with at most of the attractions but well worth the trip!
The best place for family fun in Idaho! Staff are always kind and helpful, park is clean and great food options. Be sure to check out their season pass sale that happens at the end of the summer!
They need to move the scales down the stairs so you don't wait in the long line then get told you can't go on the tube you drug up there cause your 2 pounds over. Poor customer service there. That's why I stopped going. The twig kids they have running it are super unprofessional. It's embarrassing. My husband and I couldn't go on the ride together over 2 pounds. Come on...really??
It was a great experience and so fun! Would have been much better at this family fun park if the female lifeguards were wearing shorts with their swimming suits. Or swimming suits that would cover their butts...
