Horrible 16yr old staff. Our family bought season passes for the second year. Upon entering for the first time we had our bags checked like always. I understand no out side food as they have concession. Our 1 year olds sons baby snacks ( 2 apple sauce packs, 3 front snacks and a box of raisins) had to be discarded. Horrible practice and horrible company. Won t be purchasing another season pass. Great way to ruin a day not allowing a child with food sensitivity to eat during a 8hr outing in the sun. So much for a family friendly place.

Great place to beat the heat. Lots of different rides. Excellent toddler area. Food available or you picnic tables just outside of you want to bring your own food. Price is okay if yippy plan on spending the whole day there. If not, don't waste your money, lines will take up your whole time. Season pass is definitely the best deal and well worth it!

Super cool water park, pretty pricey but definitely fun! The rides were a lot of fun and there were plenty of life guards which wad nice to see with all of the little ones running around. Again it is pricey, but there is a lot of options for food and drink inside of the park.

Great water park! My 6 yo and I had a blast! She was *just* 48" meaning she was free to do about anything! I found great variety in rides allowing us to enjoy lots of different rides: tubes, slides, in the dark, fast, slow, etc. I had my kid in a life jacket the whole time. Where it was really necessary was the wave pool and lazy river. The slides not so much, but it's comforting.
There are weight limits on all tube rides so be ready for that. Most, it's for a max weight, but thunder falls, it's a minimum. We had to get 2 girls to ride with us on that one which was mutually beneficial, because they would not have been able to ride either. There are scales at the top of all of those rides. Seemed a bit weird at first, but you quickly get over it, and no one seems to care.
Overall, a great way to spend a summer day!

It's a good time and well ran. Yes, it's crazy busy, but it's also the only water park anywhere close enough to get to. The pricing is comparable to anything else, but they also have coupons everywhere and weekly specials that help a lot with the cost. If you have a few people going, getting a cabana is the way to go. Having your own little private area is a lot more relaxing. They also have plenty of staff to alleviate the worry of your children running around by themselves.

Not sure why there are negative reviews. So they weigh you on certain rides now. I'm not a small guy, and I own it, so if they want to weigh me for the safety of me and everyone else, so what?

For water park options in the treasure valley this is the place to be. It can be crowded but given it's the only major watermark around it deserves 4 stars in my book. Hopefully they are able to expand the park east where there had been an empty dirt lot for years. The food options are not healthy and the prices can be steep.

Great experience! Best water park in Idaho. The rides are fun but the lines are sooo long. The ground is also incredibly hot. Yes you wear shoes to solve that but when you are walking to different slides or standing in line you don't wear shoes. Another problem I have with this park is the price for food. I understand the whole customer rates and whatever but is it really that necessary to pay $4 for a bottle of water? I mean you can't even bring outside food or drink so why the need to pay so much? Anyway I am just ranting now... I had a wonderful experience and recommend going with friends and family or both! The kids area is super good and super fun. It is basically a mini water park for kids who don't quite reach the height requirement. Just remember to wear lots of sunscreen or you will get burned really bad!

I'm going to be realistic here. If you have a good time at Roaring Springs you probably will not write a review but if you don't have a good time you will write a review. I think if everyone wrote a review then the ratings would be around 4.8 or more. In the end, I love this park, they always add new rides and have great workers.

Great Park, it has friendly staff, great slides, awesome wave pool, and a fun experience. On August 13th is Autism Awareness night and gives 100% of proceeds to help people like my brother get better treatment. Great part for families and is the decent amount of money. :-)

Great place to spend the day with the family. I ve grown up in the area and this place has done nothing but improve over the years. It s one of the must visit places if you re stopping in town during the summer.

One of the best water parks in the country. The only thing i don't like is they dont allow outside food. I'm sure it helps keep the park clean. It is really clean. food portions are big so at least we can share.

It's ok for a kids water park, but it would be better if every slide was a new experience. It eventually gets boring as you go on mpre rides, the food is pretty expensive, but other than that, it's worth the price if you go about 6 times in a summer.

I took my grandkids to Roaring Springs and was not allowed to go inside unless I paid or walked around with this goofy visitor sign for 15 minutes. Please design a shaded area for visitor to stay and watch without entering the park. I would pay for a cabana if I could just stay and watch and not have to stand in long lines for a 20 second ride.

I had a good experience but the rules were overkill we couldn't even bring 3 little Starburst and i was playing around in the pool near the lazy river pretending to pass out (floating basically) and the gaurd blew the whisle at me and apparently (you cant be in the pool without looking like your unconscious) but i would recommend this waterpark the lazy river was huge! .

I love being able to take my grandchildren to the water park. Sadly with the summer vacation shortening and the month of June being cold two years in a row now I just have found that it's not worth buying a season pass for any longer. And I'm not willing to spend the cost for one day. I still love Roaring Springs and encourage anybody who can afford it to go and have a great time!

Average water park. Staff are unhappy and complacent. Today was my families first time (but have local family who are regulars). One guardian of lives, just today, was so unhappy about her job that she couldn't even crack a smile. Sad. ... You're in customer service and safety, but your concern is money.

This waterpark is fun. It has a good selection of water rides. Unfortunately, all of them are quite short with long lines. The concrete is not only like walking on freshly spewed lava, it is also quite abrasive. Believe me when I tell you that you will not be needing a "ped egg" or an intense pedicure anytime soon after visiting this park. Do you have rough callouses on your feet? That will most certainly not be a problem any longer after traipsing around on this 1000 grit sandpaper they call sidewalks. The staff are great for the most part. There are some soured individuals that could probably use a swift kick in the middle rear side of their bodies. The food is beyond unreasonably priced. This is a typical "amusement park" and will attempt to take you for a ride (certainly one that is longer than there slides) at any opportunity they get. Thirsty? They got you covered, and hosed, for $5! Hungry? Prepare for the "plunge" into your bank account, 401k, or a second mortgage on your house. All of that is after they plunder your wallet at the ticket booth. With that said, you will have fun here. It is a great place to just let go and have fun. You really cannot put a price on a good time with friends and family. Don't forget your sunscreen, kids.

Lots of fun and good variety of activities, from sand volleyball, to intense watersides to the lazy river. You can relax and take it easy or get that adrenaline rush you want, all at your own pace.
