Riverwood Homes Review

My wife and I built with Riverwood in a brand new sub division in Fayetteville. They were extremely professional, and kept us highly involved with the process every step of the way. We were nervous to build versus buy, and we could not be happier with our decision. The small list of things that needed to be corrected upon completion of home such as a couple touch-up items, was remedied quickly, and completely. I would absolutely build with Riverwood again, and most likely will.

They kept us well informed during the building process and made all the custom changes that we asked for. They were always available to answer all our questions and concerns. He was always professional! Jack was the superintendent and he was on top of the contractors making sure they came in and did their part for the next contractor to do his. I reserved my lot in June 2017, construction began January 2018, and I closed shortly after in May. Working with Sam during the entire process was excellent. A true professional! Riverwood Homes stands apart from other builders because they value their customers. They really want you to have the home you envision allowing you to customize it while always available for advice when you need it. Sam was great to work with along with everyone else at Riverwood they have a great team that work together to make sure you have a top notch quality home.

I am so disappointed in River Wood. We entrusted River Wood to build our dream home, and we have been continually let down. To start the customer service is absolutely atrocious. We saved for this home we customized it, to be told we needed to not act entitled when we pointed out work which was not up to par. Example a random piece of wood was placed as a frame for our third window, it has been that way for over 3 months since we closed. This was supposed to be fixed, I was told today not sure if we can fix this as we put the wood here to keep the window for falling out, and we have never put the trim on post install . My front door is warped from not being treated and now the paint is beginning to warp and peal. My back door was never properly installed and you can see outside through all four sides. All of my crown molding has cracked. My door frame in the bathroom has cracked. My yard was never rolled therefore looks like an ocean in the back. Due to the poor quality, lack of customer service we would never recommend River Wood. I am highly disappointed. This has been the worst experience, and it should have been one of the best.

Been living in a Riverwood Home for several months now! Best decision ever. Quality is key for them and they do not stray from that. Whoever lays their flooring is an artist. 10/10 would buy again!

They are good houses at a good price, I really liked the design

If you want a company to complete your house on time then Riverwood is not the company for you. Our contract states that the latest completion date of the home is 5/22/17 unless extension is agreed upon by both parties. Well it's 5/30, closing was supposed to be tomorrow and guess what, house isn't completed. Wanna know what their excuse is? "This is the only house they're working on." Which has been told to us multiple times. I recommend you go elsewhere to someone that will actually honor a contract.

The home buying experience can be a little intimidating on your first time. The moment that my husband and I reached out to Riverwood homes we quickly found out it was the complete opposite. The employees that we worked with were always sincere and anytime we needed anything they were on it, and on time. The homes are beautiful and you can tell that there is a lot of pride within the organization to do a good job.

Mark and Taylor made this process extremely easy and painless. Could not be more happy with the results. Highly recommend.

My daughter recently purchased a riverwood home. To say that I am impressed with the overall quality and feel is quite the understatement. From the first impression via curb appeal, the home never disappointed. This home felt like a large high end luxury home compressed into 1500 sq ft. Everything was well though out with outstanding trim and beautiful finishes everywhere you look. I truly cannot understand how they are able to bring this level of quality for the price per square ft they paid. This home just feels good. I have been in a Riverwood Homes since 2010, and I still love it. The quality of the homes Mark and his team build are amazing. If I have a problem they still come out and fix it after 9 years. I would not want to live in any other home besides a Riverwood one.

I continue to be amazed by Riverwood s amazing customer even years (2+ in our case) after the sale. My wife and I have had 5 new homes built over the years, all with different builders in the Midwest and Southwest US. We ve never had an experience like this. Rather than a response like we d like to help you with that, but your 1 year warranty expired last Thursday, good luck , Riverwood approaches with a what can I help you with attitude.
