Nice place for meeting and well maintained. Restrooms were clean. But, the parking lot is very poorly lighted at night or early morning. This presents a security issue and a drivability challenge especially with how the parking lot is design.

Attended a wedding and reception here. The ceremony was supposed to be held outside, but it was raining. The wedding was moved to their chapel. Worked out great. The reception was in the pavilion. Excellent food, open bar, and wedding cake!

Our experience with Ritz Charles was incredible and Elise, our reception coordinator, was a major part of that. Our wedding ceremony (thanks to Anne and Emily) and our reception was everything we could have hoped for. We had so many comments from guests on how great the food was, how beautiful the room was and how awesome the staff was. Thank you so much for helping plan our event and making sure it ran smoothly. ~Trey and Jenny Ourand

My husband and I got married here just a few weeks ago. The staff did an amazing job and made sure everything went perfect. They were extremely accommodating and helpful with anything we needed. They went above and beyond our expectations. Bill, Lindsey, and Rachel all helped make our day so perfect. We can't thank you guys enough. I will recommend the ritz over and over again to anyone we know getting married. Fantastic job with awesome food and service! Thank you guys!! We really appreciated all the hard work and effort they put in to make the day amazing. Also the door guy Alex is awesome, great guy!

Very fancy. Wait staff was great for the two very different evtns I have attended (wedding and conference). Food served was excellent. Rooms could use some gernal.maintemace, such as lights out and crooked sconce on the wall, but these are very minor, easy fixes. Beautiful separate glass enclosure also available.

Our son Conor and his bride Emma were married June 9 at Ritz Charles and the reception was held in the Pavilion. Bill from Ritz's executive team led the operations and along with Rachel coordinating and the entire team -- our hats off to an outstanding job and great attention to the guests and to all the details. The food, venue, preparations, sound, setup, tables/chairs/linens, bar services -- Everything -- was so well done. They even arranged a clear sky, breeze and a full moon! :) We are very thankful for such a wonderful event that the entire Ritz Charles team helped make into a perfect day!!

I have been to the Ritz Charles on several occasions, but this was the first time I have hosted a private event (a 30th year reunion). From the servers, staff, doorman, and manager to the owner himself - everyone was impeccably professional. We had a LAST MINUTE request and it was done, up and running within 15 minutes! The food was great, everything was timely, and a good time was had by all! We will definitely return for our future needs. Thank you!

The facility and staff were reasonable. Only complaint, no concern from event planner for guest comfort. 4 fans in entire building and no way to shade from sun in certain areas after 5pm. A lot of older guest were having trouble with heat. no additional fans were offered or available. This was a first class place at one time. Seems the good reviews are from the past and no longer being ran at same standards now.

Having been to a few parties here, I can say that the exterior "tent" room looks pretty nice, however it can be chilly in the cooler months. The service of the staff is all over the place, the first visit I remember it being average and the last visit was closer to bad than average. A guest at our table had to convince the staff to not take his place, and then they still did leaving him with food in his hand and no where to put it. I think part of it was a language barrier as well as some staff being a too young to help / handle alcoholic beverages. The food may be okay for some corporate events, but if I was getting that food for my wedding, I would have been a little upset.

My daughter had her wedding reception in the ball room, and the service by the staff was excellent. When I arrived they greeted me and asked me what I would like to drink. We had an open bar but I never made my way over to it because the staff served me. I thought they were treating me royally because I was paying for the reception, but no my family members got the same service. I highly recommend Ritz Charles. They are very professional and polite. I received a lot of compliments from my guests. I have another daughter and will use the Ritz for her wedding reception also.

Two weeks ago I attended a wedding reception. I cannot say it was one of the best reception I ever had attended. I would assume that having a ceremony at the Ritz Charles will speak of splendor. The food was not too bad, however, there were never a waiter around whenever we looked for one. The waiters were standing around having their own conversations instead of attending to the guests. I want to request that management teach customer service skills to the managers.

I recently attended a corporate event at Ritz Charles. The room set-up was perfect for our needs. The lunch was delicious and the cocktail reception at the end of the day was done beautifully. The staff was very attentive throughout the day. I would definitely recommend Ritz Charles for your corporate event.

I truly think the Ritz Charles has to be the best venue to get married in central Indiana. Throughout our whole planning experience, everything was made so easy for us. Elise was our reception coordinator (we had our reception in the Garden Pavilion), and she was so wonderful, friendly, and easy to work with every step of the way. When we were unsure about the food at the menu tastings (particularly the chicken), she arranged with the chef for us to come in for a private tasting. The food, and especially the chicken, ended up being delicious!!! We were so pleased and felt like the Ritz went out of their way to make sure we were happy with it. Anne was our chapel coordinator and she was just amazing. She was so sweet and fun to work with. I thought her job was mainly just to open and close the chapel for us, but she did so much more!! From welcoming guests, helping with seating since we didn't have ushers, she also set up our decorations, and so much more. Any issues that arised (such as the shuttle from our hotel running late), she calmly mentioned to me so I was informed but made sure I didn't have to worry about ANYTHING. She made everything run smoothly and seamlessly. I even showed up with a wedding picture of my mom and dad that we wanted to display but didn't have a frame (last minute wedding problems!!), and she ran over to the main building and found a frame for us to use. Angie was our "day of" manager for food, beverage, and EVERYTHING at our reception. She was so sweet and made sure my groom and I were taken care of the whole time. She anticipated our needs before we even knew we needed anything. As soon as the ceremony was over, she was in the chapel with signature drinks for us to enjoy before we took pictures. Then she returned with drinks for our whole wedding party! She not only attended to us but I know she made sure our guests were well taken care of throughout dinner and the whole reception. It was absolutely a pleasure having her around the whole night. These are just a few of moments that really stood out to us and made us feel like VIP on our wedding day. But overall, I really felt like the whole staff who took care of us at the Ritz Charles was the Dream Team. We were always excited to host our wedding there, but never expected to be treated SO WONDERFULLY and to feel SO special by the staff. Everyone was so genuine, sincere, and extremely professional.

Was hoping this would be THE venue.... Very disappointing. However id like to know who their website photographer is because they do an amazing job making the venue look 100 times better than it actually is.

Very nice, upscale location. We had a work party here. Lovely decor, clean bathrooms and very delicious food. Would highly reccomend for gatherings. Our room fit us nicely (about 120 people).

I cannot recommend Ritz Charles enough! Maddie LaDow is who we worked with while planning our wedding and she made everything so wonderful and stress-free. We had to change our reception venue last minute and because of COVID we constantly had our guest count fluctuating - I must have emailed Maddie 6 times with updates and revisions. Each time I reached out to her she was quick, professional, and most importantly, she was nice and understanding. We received multiple compliments from our guests on the atmosphere, service, and food. The staff was so friendly and we could tell they genuinely cared how the event panned out for us and for our guests. Overall, we are beyond satisfied and both agree that the Ritz Charles exceeded our expectations. They so are worth it!!

I can't say enough great things about our experience working with Ritz Charles for our wedding. We booked their new facility, The Bluffs at Conner Prairie, based off renderings that we saw while it was under construction. Not being able to see the completed venue until the night of our rehearsal absolutely paid off because the space was incredible. We hosted our wedding outdoors with the reception inside. The team at Ritz was great to work with throughout the entire planning process: responding to emails quickly, flexible with any changes, extremely organized and absolute joys to work with. The day of our wedding ran so smoothly, every detail was executed, and they took great care of both of our families--we were treated extremely well. The food was excellent, and we heard this many times from our guests. We fully believe there is no one better to work with than the team at Ritz.

Great venue with easy access. The Chapel is simple in a good way, and very bright and cheery. The outdoor garden/pavilion area is everything you'd want it to be, minus climate control. The area has great landscaping and we'll maintained. The only downside was they only had a few of the fans going in the glass pavilion, and it was sweltering.

A bit of an older venue, that has inside and outside event space available. I did attend a wedding outside during the summer here, and it was not well cooled at all. The building with the service was not well air conditioned, and the outside tent-like structure could have used a lot more fans.

Ritz Charles doesn't just have a beautiful ballroom, chapel, and pavilion on the Northside of Indianapolis but they exclusively cater at some of the best venues in the city (Central Library, Artsgarden, etc). We enjoy working with their staff, and appreciate their ability to provide high-quality food at large events. They also own a great space downtown called City Hardware for corporate events.
