Ritz-Carlton Hotel Lake Las Vegas Review

This is a super cool hotel! My family and I went here a couple years ago, and we got a room over the water. They have a big grassy field, some water activities, and this floating dock with artificial grass. They also had this floating stage as well. We had some bread that we were feeding to the ducks, but we noticed these weird gold things in the water, they ended up being super big carp. I ran back up to the room to grab our fishing poles that we brought, and we were using bread that we bought from the store nearby. They put up a good fight, and they were super big too. At night, we also did some fishing from the balcony from the third-floor. We managed to catch quite a few. It was super fun pulling up fish from a hotel room . Definitely can t wait to go there again.

DIRTY after arriving at the room finding a dead bug in the bathroom and dirty sinks I called housekeeping to clean my room. And left for a little so they could clean again, while after I return still found that bug and only one of the sinks have been partially wiped out. the entire hotel is just generally dirty didn't find staff to be very friendly absolutely would not stay at this hotel ever again or would avoid at all cost. The air conditioner would not cool the room off and the elevator broke twice during my one night stay. this is not a problem if you're staying on the 3rd floor , and don't want to use the beach or the pool or any of the restaurants or bars. over priced dump.

Nice property. Used to be a Ritz Carlton with a casino. Now a Hilton and the casino is gone. It's a large property with many twists and turns to get to and from your own room. Pool is simple but still nice. Don't stay here if you want to be close to the strip, it's a 35 dollar Uber to get there. But if you want to see Hoover dam is a good location. Breakfast is tasty. Overall three stars for confusing layout and distance from just about anything. But if you like just hanging at the resort this might just be your place.

Follow up edit.... Forgot to mention self parking. This property is entirely engineered for valet and Bell service. If you want to save some bucks with self parking it's tough. No luggage carts are available for use and the walk from the self park garage to the room is really long. With a family of four in the 110 degree Nevada heat it was no fun.

Had a great time at Vino Del Lago! It was cozy, intimate, and had a wonderful selection of wines. Oh, and the entertainment was first rate! I will definitely be recommending this spot to many. If you want a relaxing or romantic setting coupled with an upscale, but casual vibe, this is the place.

I was not impressed with this hotel. The pool was small and it did not seem to be very clean. I will be looking for other hotels the next time I am in Vegas.

The room is very nice and clean. But it was so hard to find the room because there were no signs. The hotel map did not match reality.

This experience was horrible, we arrived early after contacting the property prior and they stat it wouldn't be an issue to have early check in. We arrived around 1:50 pm, and were told to sit in the lobby while they had housekeeping get our room together. After 3:15 pm, I asked the front desk again, she assured me a supervisor was checking the room to ensure that is was sanitized for our stay so I went and sat back down. Finally after around 3:30 pm, we were contacted to get our room. We were not told about the additional $100.00 hold at check in and were okay with it since we would receive it back. We also had to await the baggage we asked to be sent to our room for over an hour that day forcing us to miss our excursions we had planned at the lake that day (the purpose of us taking the vacation) because we had our swim attire and belongings inside. Upon getting into the room we inspected to find that the room did not get cleaned properly. In addition, there were stains on the bed sheets, spiders and missing towels, dirty tub and a used bar of soap in a closed little box on the sink counter. After running water in both sinks in the bedroom bathroom, we noticed the drains smelled and both were clogged as the drain would hiccup when the sitting water was in the bowl. I tried bypassing this as well but when trying to turn the channel in the room we realized the remote was not working, the front desk sent two maintenance men to fix, however we ended up getting a whole new remote. The patio had cigarette butts and a lot of pigeon waste, this room was not cleaned clearly. I tried to discuss this with the front desk but after the manager called me, I realized she would have a rebuttal fro every complaint even though I was being polite and understanding because I knew they were busy and sold out. I finally reached my limit and told her that I could see she wan't interested in assisting us and hung up. Due to the later than expected check in we were not able to make the lake excursions, etc that we had planned forcing us to lose more money. I have stayed with Hilton many times and was really disappointed in not only the customer service but the behavior of the staff in dealing with a customer. In addition, I heard the front desk girls talking badly about us, were guests and I wasn t even rude at all, just wanted issues taken care of. I am hopeful this will not happen again and would like to request a refund for our stay as it was not pleasant

The beds are comfy and the views are nice. Customer service is on point with many hilton locations I've visited. For the location, however, I was surprised at how out dated most of the decor was in the rooms. Also, the lake view rooms are a distance.

Everything was great except it's something small but I asked for some dish soap to wash my baby's bottles and they said they could not give me any. I thought that was odd. Other than that great room and facilities!

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!! We are here right now. My nephew was drowning in the pool and the lifeguards were busy talking!!! My sister was yelling for help and the lifeguards did not do anything!!! My sister screamed if there is a lifeguard around. The lifeguards said yes, they acknowedged and still did not do anything!!! My sister screamed help him!!! And the lifeguards still didn t do anything!!! At that point my 10 year old daughter (who was not swimming at that time) fully clothed, jumped in the pool to save my nephew!!! The 2 lifeguards still did not do anything!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL!!!

Awesome place to stay. About half hour drive from Vegas. It was so quiet and peaceful our entire stay. Employees were very friendly. Room was always clean. Breakfast buffet was very good.

Great location over the lake and set in the quant village. Attended an event. Can't vouch for the rooms.

It's our Honeymoon (as well as my Birthday)! We originally stayed at a "resort" down the block i will leave nameless - but may or may not rhyme with best inn - WHAT A REGRET! They had not one shred of care for us. Then i decided to move to the Hilton...AMAZING CHOICE!! Lizelle Lizardo, my Concierge, made this experience absolutely perfect! The instant Lizelle heard of the occasions she was enthralled in the excitement just like us! Not only did Lizelle make both of us feel the warmest of welcomes, but she continued to go above and beyond by upgrading our room AND sending up a congratulatory package with a personally hand-written note just for us. Hilton proved to be one of the few places where you get what you pay for. Our room is comfortable, our view is amazing, and our memories of our honeymoon will be priceless. I would recommend this Resort to ANYONE looking to have a wedding, enjoy the local scene, or just get away. We will come back here every year for our anniversary. Thank you for everything, Lizelle & Hilton!

This place is beautiful and peaceful but they are a little disorganized. I attended a conference there and they were very understaffed for as many people as were in attendance seminar. Lots of good restaurants, though! Especially the Italian and Mexican. Super comfy beds and views. Pool was lovely!

Nice hotel. Great location beautiful surroundings. It is away from the main Las Vegas area, which I really like. The hotel has many floors and is a little bit confusing to get around. The rooms are extremely nice and the staff is very accommodating and very nice.

Because you have a good time, you can take a ride on the boat or boat, there are Mexican and Italian restaurants and other businesses but it is good for you to relax for a while, there.

Property was pretty. Inside of the hotel looked old and dirty inside with major dings on walls and missing paint. Our room had lights that didn't work, toilet that ran, missing knob on furniture and holes in the chair. The bathroom was nice. Fitness center closes at 7:00 which we weren't told when I asked before we booked so was useless for us when we needed it in the pm. Nowhere to eat at a decent place for about 20 minutes away. This property was like a ghost town. Staff was friendly. Won't stay sgain.

Had an amazing nights sleep here and super enjoyed the Mexican food.

this was a ritz carlton at one time and the entire village area casino etc is like a ghost town even the hotel was empty i hope they will survive such a beautiful area that looks like a ghost town....

This resort was beautiful. It was relaxing and perfect for my vacation. The entire staff was so helpful and polite. They really assisted me and knowledgeable. The Spa was much needed and I highly recommend it. It wasn't crowded so I had alone time. Jessica at the front desk was so kind. We were waiting for a tour and no one came to show us around. She gave us a complimentary day pass to the spa. I wasn't expecting that so that was much appreciated. After Jessica's gesture, I decided to book an appointment and the Body Polish was well worth it. I recommend it, especially since my body was dry and not used to the heat, the body polish was just what I needed. This resort was everything I thought it would be and more. I would definitely go back and highly recommend it to others.

Lush landscapes and intricate architecture make this Lakeside Hotel a must for anybody looking to get away from the strip for a bit.

Whole place is great and staff is friendly and helpful. Sort of lonely, though. A lot of closed shops, casino, and just general feeling of being on a movie set. All show but no people there.

The people that work here are very nice they help you with the smallest of things and you don't get that anymore I would come again

Being locals and every thing that goes on in our lives this was a perfect little get a way. I so can't wait to go back ! The room was perfect , clean and beautiful view! If you can get the lake view, it's worth it ! Also, the bar has great service, food and drinks. The ladies at check in desk were also professional and kind. I can't wait till we can get a way again. This was perfect. Best place in Lake Las Vegas ( and I have stayed at the others ).

I prepaid my room, but they charged my card $100 per night (total $300 for 3 nights). Then, we put a $50 room charge on the account. They helped themselves to an EXTRA $250 of my money! So, they held $500 ($550 hold, less $50 spent) for about ten days! NEVER going back! Since when, if they're already holding $300, does a $50 charge trigger an extra $250? Outrageous!

Does anyone know what time the shuttles run to and from the strip?

Quite honestly, not as nice as we had hoped and expected.
They advertise on their site a nice little spot with sand and it looks nothing like their pictures. It is also attached to a ghost town that adds to the disappointment.

We stayed just for one night passing thru but wish we would've stayed longer. This property was way above expectations along with the service from everyone of the employees. Excellent experience and will definitely stay again and or recommend.

Everything about the hotel is very nice and high end. Plus the location is right next to village so you can go from the hotel to the shops or lake in no time.

Nice hotel but elevator in parking structure was broken for our entire three night stay with no effort to repair. Pain to carry luggage up and down stairs.

We enjoyed our 3 day stay in Hilton. Our room was very beautiful and the entire hotel is a delight to the eyes. The hotel has a beautiful garden and There is an area at the side of a lake where there are shops and the area will remind you of Europe. The staff was very professional.

I was there for a social engagement at one of the conference halls. My only concern about the event was how far away the restrooms were from the hall that we had. The food and drink they served were fine. My children loved the cookies. The vegetables looked a little dry as did some of the finger sandwiches.

We addled for a lake view to watch the fireworks and paid extra but got a room that had a view of a fraction of the lake opposite the fireworks display. So tired of being charged extra and not getting what you believe you are paying for. I think they call it bait and switch.

Clean and sufficient gym area. They offer yoga class on weekends. And my favorite - the pool. Just gorgeous!

I didnt really visit the place but as a whole Lake Las Vegas looks pretty empty
