Banff is without compare. Staying at the Rimrock adds a layer!

It really is a resort hotel. It is a destination in itself with restaurants, bars, spa, pool.

I would give this hotel zero stars for the rooms if I could. The bathroom is tiny and outdated for the prices they charge. The central air conditioning does not work, all for the fair sum of $300+ per night! The rooms are no frills and feel pretty standard fair...in fact I've stayed in nicer hotels in Banff for a fraction of the cost.

The views are nice, the restaurants are great, and the staff is generally friendly. I guess that's worth the mandatory star.

Was expensive, for that money breakfast at least should be included!

Beautiful resort with some great views. Everything at the resort is pricy so be prepared!

Hotel location is excellent. Brilliant views of mountains and only few minutes walk to Gondola and hot springs. Get to use frequent local bus services for free so ride to town centre is 7 minutes. Original room not too good but negotiated an upgrade for extra payment and worth every penny. Adjoining corner rooms, loads of space, 2 lovely big bathrooms with Jacuzzii tubs and stunning views from the 2 large balconies. Service from staff has been excellent. Very helpful concierge and great walk-in bar/restaurant with great mountain views.

Nice hotel with spectacular views of the mountains. Staff members were extremely helpful and the restaurants on premis are equally as good. The building itself is old but has been updated. Amenities were also good. Prices were a little high... Recommended.

Really gorgeous views and excellent service. Make sure you get a room facing the mountains! This place, in my opinion, directly rivals the Fairmont and may outshine it in many ways.

Beautiful location that I thoroughly enjoyed, minus the extremely high costs of everything in the area. If money is of no concern, stay here (or if work wants you there); otherwise, it is still a nice place to visit and walk through for those who stay in more modestly priced locations.

Everything was incredible. Good service, good pool and lounge area and the rooms are extraordinary with the view.

we usually go there for a meal everytime we are in banff. after our last experience I think we will be considering other options, perhaps Fairmont instead. the waitress was just horrible she was from an asian decent and had no manners or any kind of knowledge on how to treat a customer. I really hope it was just a really bad day for her as I really love the place but why go to a place if the people wont treat you right.

Great location for the view, but quite a way out of Banff. Restaurant food was average; the decor in need of some modernisation, lots of worn carpets in hallways and in room bathrooms are very dated.

The rooms were clean, accommodations comfortable, the service was incredible, and the view is breathtaking. I would definitely come back here again soon.

Great view, large rooms. Well kept and clean. Valet parking. Well decorate hotel with multiple themes based on season.

They have great service! If you need anything they will go out of their way to get it for you. By staying at the Rimrock you get access to the transit system that will take you up to any mountain you want. The hotel is also great with kids and they have a decent pool. The only down side is the quality of food. Not that they have terrible food, it's just mediocre. Stay the night, enjoy the service and amenities, but stay away from the food. The local food is worth it.

Stunning views from our panoramic premium room. Very friendly staff and accommodating for travel with little ones.

Housekeeping could be improved(dust seen under tables and behind lamps) and tubs could be updated (erroding metal tub drain) but overall we had a great stay at this hotel.

Very different atmosphere from Fairmont Banff Springs with an old time feel.

Amazing hotel in the scenic views of Banff. Delightful staff and spacious rooms. Room service was fast and delicious. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Kinda far from banff... Due to road diversions...but great otherwise

It's very nice however over rated for the cost. The grounds around were nothing special with not much to do outside forcing you to drive somewhere. And getting to the parking lot can take a very long time if the hot springs are busy.

Mountainside hotel=amazing views! Close to the gondola and springs this hotel is my new 1st choice for Banff. Excellent service from check in to check out with beautiful rooms and the most amazing views. The restaurant was fantastic - both food, service and price. Do yourself a favor and stay here!

Beautiful hotel! Loved the lounge in the foyer, great spot to enjoy a drink and relax. The rooms we spacious as well.

Quick conference visit-located close to gondola and hot springs. Great pool and food-and service was friendly and views from our room were jaw dropping. I could sit at that window all day.

Nice hotel on a great spot just outside of Banff with a spectacular view if you book a room on the east-side. Staff isn't always as friendly as you would expect but it was okay.

In a good location near the hot springs and near the town of banff, this hotel is in reasonable shape with excellent, scenic views and overall good service. However, the internet provided is incredibly slow, making this a challenging place to work remotely.

It was great staying here. Because of COVID-19 we were worried about cleanliness and when we reached Rimrock it was very neat and clean. 4 stars.

Spent 3 amazing days there! The gourmet food was spectacular and good wine!

My wife and I just spent 4 nights there. The staff are amazing, from the doorman to the bellman bar staff and house keeping . The hotel is just the right distance from town with great bus service to all attractions. The food is very good we had several of our meals here and found them all delicious. The bar has a great selection I think you would hard pressed to not find what you like. I would highly recommend this location to everyone 5 star all the way.

Located a couple of kms away from the downtown, surrounded by woods, Rimrock is a high-end property in Banff. Rooms are spacious. Service is decent. A couple of restaurants provide options for eating without moving out. But if you have to, there is a half-hourly bus shuttle to downtown. Overall, not an option that you would call cost-effective but then we have stayed here during high season so I that may be the reason

Genuine and great friendly staff. Service in every aspect supersede expectations. Can't say enough good things about the Rimrock.

The rooms were nice, a bit warm but with the windows open it was fine. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I would most certainly recommend this hotel to someone seeking a hotel in this price range per night.

Lovely hotel but had many issues that took along time to resolve. Expensive for what you get.....especially at Eden. Was very unimpressed with our dinner at a supposed 5 diamond restaurant

Fantastic! The views at this hotel are incredible. I took my wife here for her birthday with plans for things around town and we just spent the first night staring out the window. Staff is great, very friendly. World class hotel.

Very nice hotel, service and amenities were amazing. Only downside is hotel is out of town do you have to drive to get to restaurants and shops.

Good stay, however our room was never serviced and the "do not disturb" and "breakfast order" signs were forgotten. We called and they brought up both items promptly.

Staying at the Rimrock was delightful. The service was amazing - the staff team went above and beyond. We couldn t get a cab into town because it was the long weekend so the concierge drove us. The gym and spa are both beautiful. The rooms are luxurious. We will definitely be making this our regular place to stay in Banff. It felt like we were royalty!

My wife and I attended a family member"s wedding on Sunday September 2nd. The ceremony and reception were at the hotel. The ceremony was in the back with a forest and valley view. The reception was well organized, the buffet had a lot of selection, food quality was very good (only issue was we noticed a couple of our chicken pieces had spots that were red and undercooked), and the service was very prompt and friendly.

Attended a wedding and it was a pretty fancy place. No complaints from the time we spent there.

We have stayed here for 2 nights and it was an unbelievable experience. Everything here is looked after for you. The rooms are exquisite. The view of the mountains through your room window is breathtaking. The staff are friendly and very professional. We look forward to staying here again.

Had a wonderful relaxing stay here at the end of September. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make you feel at home. Lovely special surprise for my wife and I when we arrived in our room - it was our anniversary.
