Been a guest tonight. From the appetizer to dessert. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Good chef with detail for the taste buds. Nicely coordinated. A big ***** highly recommended.

Relax on the terrace despite the probably hottest day of the century. Surprised with an amuse from the house with a savory soup of fennel and Pernod and a delicious Limburg bitterbal from their home butcher. The ordered first called Brood voor Samen was tasty and after a short break it was even mentioned a main course, a delicious skewer of pork tenderloin, complete with tasty fries, crackers, salad and fried onions and roasted peanuts.

The food (vegetarian menu) was great. All compliments for the cook. But the service is a bit different. We were helped by a young man who had probably just started. It doesn't matter, but the easy talker (husband of the owner's sister) was correcting this boy loud and clear all the time and learning how things belong, according to him. You don't do that in front of the guests! You do that in advance, then let your staff taste everything and tell you something about the wines and dishes so that the staff is not full of teeth when asked.
It is also outrageous that no free tap water is served in this restaurant (certainly next to a bottle of wine). It has been mandatory for a number of years and it gives a seriously lesser burden on the environment.
We did not really enter into the discussion because the young waiter who served us had a hard enough time talking to his boss. Then a critical review here.

Hospitality and friendly service were hard to find unfortunately. Previous manager / owner scored maximum in this area.
Too bad after years of pleasant completion amstelgold now looking for a new address.

The Restuarant is located in the basement and has a truely bohemian atmosphere. Food is excellent, if a little expensive. Service was great noting I appreciated the fact they are not always at your table chasing an order. Staff were excellent. You can even purchase local art and craft products.

We ate in the Council cellar on Thursday evening 17 August. Everything was great. Cozy restaurant, good service and super tasty, well-kept food. Price / quality ratio was fine! It is a pity that the distance Vaals / Goes is too far to go there regularly, but otherwise I would know. It would become my favorite restaurant.

Slow operation and arguing behind the bar in front of customers. The waiting times between dishes in very long. The quality of the dishes served is quite good. Not recommended!!

Yesterday we had a delicious meal here in honor of our wedding anniversary. The food, service and ambiance are really great! We have been more often in the past, but because we have moved it is a short drive and it has happened less often. But we like to drive a little extra for this. You eat delicious Burgundian food here and that for a very fair price. This restaurant receives a warm recommendation from us and is in our opinion one of the best in the Heuvelland. Chapeau!

Last weekend with friends had dinner at this cozy restaurant, we were helped very well. Especially when one of us was not feeling well due to the pregnancy.
They did everything to help, fresh mint tea, a glass of water and a paracetamol, all at the expense of the restaurant. The food was carefully packed in order to be able to eat later and the amount of the menu was adjusted to be able to leave early. All credits for this lovely staff and the good care.
The food was also fantastic!
We do not come from the neighborhood (Rotterdam) but we will definitely go back again when we are in the area again.

On Sunday evening, January 15, we had dinner here with friends. The restaurant was nicely decorated and the menu challenging enough. Drunk Deer and The flesh is weak.
Great wine and we were really guests. At the end made a chat with the chef. In short, a real night out and delicious food and drinks.
We had some more expensive wine but the price and certainly good in relation to the menu.

Excellent reception. When taking the order I was told that if I ordered the starter as a main course I would have to pay 5 euros extra. This was also indicated on the menu so I was aware of it. I did ask if I would get a bike and salad with it (since it was a main course). We would get fries and salad anyway, so if more were needed, that wouldn't be a problem. However, when paying the bill I had to pay 1.25 euros extra for the extra fries ordered and ketchup was also charged. If I already have to pay 5 euros extra for the same dish and then don't get anything extra, I don't think that's very welcoming. In addition, we had already ordered an appetizer. I also think it is not service oriented to ask for money for a small bowl of ketchup ... The waiter thought he had already reached us by calculating only 1x sauce and not asking much for the fries. I don't think it's welcoming and a shame ....

It starts with a warm and hearty welcome. Delicious food, locally and carefully prepared with wine to match. Venison steak and tournedos is a must. Employees complement each other fantastically and expectations are exceeded. Thanks for the hospitality and the delicious food!

Definitely one of the best restaurants in town. We have been there with a big group of 20+ people and they arranged a special meal for us. Unfortunately nobody told them that we had some vegetarians and also one vegan in our group. But that was absolutely no problem. They served some amazing vegetarian and even vegan options. Highlight was the vegan tiramisu which was spontaneously created by the chef. You exceeded all our expectations. Thank you so much!!!

Had lunch on the terrace. Nice friendly service. We thought the food was pricey. Two small croquettes with two thin slices of white bread and a mini bowl of raw vegetables for 8.75. The quality I could not describe other than "snack bar plus".
