I would like to know what precautions are rent the runway taking to secure its drivers. Since the packages come from New York. Why arent the giving any hazard pay. Do they offer sanitizer gloves or anything. Can someone one from headquarters reply.

Unbelievable! Be aware !!!! The order was shipped without shipping Adress and shipping company returned package to Rent the run way but my credit card was charged $511.00 When I contacted customer service I was told that because I did not call within 24 hours I can not be refunded ,I was also told that customer service manager Alison (no last name ) reviewed the case and did not approve the refund I am going to call my Credit card company and dispute the charge Will never use them again
I agree with the other reviews that customer service is abysmal and makes the whole experience unpleasant. New subscription makes no sense and there are other companies offering the same service so I will be cancelling my subscription and giving another company a try...
Good concept in general but horrible customer service. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone. I ve emailed last week and I still have not gotten a response. I have attempted to call but also have not been able to reach anyone. I have been on hold for over an hour this afternoon and I still can t through. Their chat function is also not working. Overall not recommend
This is actually a no rating, because I do work for Google in this building and had no idea that Rent also occupied space in the same building. I'd probably rather do work for Rent... The irony of that statement, lol. Dont we all work for rent in NYC?
I m so tired of giving this company chances. I used to love RTR but the customer service now is abysmal and I can t in good conscious give them my business or recommend them to anyone.
The rollout of the new program has been awful and to not have good customer service to help loyal customers is beyond frustrating. They genuinely seem to not care about your experience.
There s so many other companies and places(CC: Christopher John Roberts x Target) that you can go to and find great items at the same price or less, RTR just doesn t make sense anymore.
i used to recommend RTR to everyoneeee! Not anymore.. I rented an outfit for this weekend. Was supposed to be delivered 7/2 by 10 pm.. never showed up. I called customer service this morning to find out how they could help.. Courtney told me the package was showing delivered @ 7am.. um i need to buzz everyone in through the gate at our complex and i didn t buzz anyone in so i have no idea where they delivered to. so she said she would open an investigation and eventually i would get a refund and i could place another order online.. ok fine. i go on the app only to find out i can no longer place an order for this weekend. so now i have nothing to wear and they won t refund me my money until this investigation happens. terrible experience and very inconvenient.
I don't often write reviews for businesses, but I felt compelled to do so after I got off the phone with their representative. This is the second time that I called them-on a separate "issue" and both times they picket up my call right away-the rep was super nice and friendly and they resolved my "issues/concerns" right away.
They are easy to do business with and they value their customers by the way I've been treated by them-I can say that. Not to mention the great service they offer-I love their clothes, the ease of getting them/returning. Just an overall amazing company and I would say if you'r contemplating giving them a shot-go for it! You will look fabulous.
Plus they make it so easy to cancel/put membership on hold-you can do it right from your account online-no need to hunt for phone number/go through up-sell, etc. like you do with some other memberships. Keep up the great work and your customer service reps are amazing!
I have been a loyal member of Rent the Runway since it s inception. I used to recommend it to everyone. In the past year, the service has completely changed and the customer service is horrendous. A manager was supposed to call me on numerous occasions but failed to do so. I have gotten very large sums of money charged to my card with no explanation and they now make you pay for shipping labels. I am very sad to leave after years of using RTR but I have no other choice. I was really trying to support them during COVID but cannot trust a company that charges your credit card without your consent.
