Outstanding service. They have access to apartments that are not listed anywhere on the internet.

I had a hard time finding an apartment after a bad landlord experience, and was tired of trying to sift through reviews, prices and locations. While searching I saw an ad for RentMonster and thought I'd give it a shot. After typing in my information, Jessi called me the same day and set up an appointment with me THAT afternoon. RentMonster did not charge any fees, and Jessi was super helpful and drove me around Birmingham looking at different places. RentMonster will NOT work with slumlord landlords and has even "fired" rental companies that do not match certain standards. Couldn't be happier with the location of my apartment and the company that runs the property. Thanks RentMonster!

Rent Monster was awesome! I had to move to Birmingham all the way from Michigan and was not able to come visit beforehand so I was coming in very blind. Jessi Tidwell made it very easy and nowhere near as scary as it had to be because she took the time to get to know me a little bit, figure out what made sense for me, and coupled that with her knowledge of the renters market in Birmingham set me up with the perfect apartment. She took videos for me and as many pictures as I wanted and did not try to hide the flaws of potential apartments. Was very honest and helpful and made my scary cross country move, much easier. Also, its free! There is no reason not to use Rent Monster to help you find a place.

Finding an apartment using Rentmonster was the best decision I made, Zachary made the entire process so easy, and always had the answers to my questions. If he didn t know an answer off hand, he d find out for me and text me the answer promptly. I can t reccomend this company enough!

I've now used RentMonster twice and both times had an amazing experience! When I was relocating to Birmingham last year, they helped me find an apartment and complete all the lease documents so that the day I arrived, I already had a place ready for me to move in. This year, I was looking to move into a bigger apartment and Mary Alice found some great options, plus she was super helpful with getting all the paperwork in order. I am completely blown away by how easy and pleasant RentMonster made finding an apartment. I worked with Sarah and she made the whole process super simple and quick. I liked that she really understood what aspects of an apartment would be important to me and worked to find several options within my budget. Something I wasn't expecting (but deeply appreciated!) was that during our consultation meeting and when touring apartments, Sarah always asked me deeper questions about how felt about certain apartments, what features of an apartment would be most important to me, etc. It got me considering things that I hadn't even thought of before. That attention to detail and care was so wonderful. I can tell that she really had my best interest at heart during the whole process.

I had to make a spur of the moment move from Tuscaloosa to Birmingham after I got a job here and the commute was killing me. Rentmonster was an absolute life saver trying to find an apartment around town.

I was initially staying in an extended stay hotel trying to find a place, doing hours of research every night, and because of my work schedule I couldn't tour many places due to their limited office hours. I heard about Rentmonster and it just made sense. They have a ton of connections with apartments around town, a huge list of potential properties, and best of all: it was free. I had an all the benefits of an expensive broker without paying a dime.

My particular agent, Jessi, went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help me out. With my work schedule we couldn't do much during the week - she worked with my schedule and met me on a few Saturdays/Sundays when she normally wouldn't be working. Jessi was very easy going, professional, insanely knowledgeable about the properties and apartments in the area, and the whole staff made me feel at home from the moment I walked into their offices. Jessi worked with me over the course of a week or two, whittling down the places I did and didn't like, and eventually found a place that I ABSOLUTELY love - which is surprising considering how picky I was. Throughout the whole process, Jessi was very patient working with me to find exactly what I wanted.

Kudos to Jessi, and the rest of the Rentmonster staff. Over the course of my apartment search I spent a fair amount of time in their offices, and they were all very welcoming and wonderful, one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. I highly recommend Rentmonster if you're looking for an apartment and you're overwhelmed at the sheer number of other avenues and options offered from other apartment services.

Incredible. Jessi helped me as well, was definitely willing to go way above the call of duty for costumer support. Firstly, again, it's free for renters. The deal was pretty simple: she asked me what my constraints were, I gave them to her, and even though some of them were pretty specific, she was able to find me a great home, under budget, that offered a lot more than I was asking for. Quick, easy, friendly. I've got to give the company kudos for setting up what seems to be a pleasant place to work for also.

5.5/5 will use again if I want to upgrade.

I cannot say enough great things about Rent Monster. I worked with Melissa, and she went out of her way time and again to make sure I got the right place. She even came by to unlock the door for the utility companies when I couldn't meet them in time. Even after I had settled into my new place, Melissa kept in contact and introduced me to other people in my neighborhood. Rent Monster offers so much more than just rental assistance. And it's FREE. If you are renting in Birmingham, do yourself a favor and let Rent Monster be your guide.

I was relocating from Greenville, SC and could not make it to look at apartments in person, so Michael took me on several FaceTime tours of properties that fit my needs. After the unit had been secured for me, he even went back to help me measure the space for my washer and dryer unit so I could order them ahead of time. He was always highly responsive to my texts, emails and calls and also found me a unit that had not yet been listed. Would recommend to anyone.

My boyfriend and I were very skeptical at first. Having never been exposed to apartment finder services, Rent Monster seemed too good to be true! I mean, someone driving you around and helping you find your ideal apartment in town? Too good to be true, right? It is good, yes. And it is also true. Zach, our personal consultant, was great and showed us several properties all around town. He was patient and kind and fun and helpful, and because of him we are now living in a wonderful apartment in our ideal location. We HIGHLY recommend Rent Monster. These folks are great.

I was assigned to Mary Alice and she responded to me less than 24 hours after I completed the form on their website. She asked me for all of my preferences, and sent me a list of apartments to consider on the following work day. My roommate and I were able to find a place and sign a lease in just three days! Mary Alice was a delight to work with and made sure to specify important details in the leasing process, something that many other agents/property managers have not done for me in the past. I highly recommend using Rentmonster, especially for people who need to find housing ASAP! Ask for Mary Alice!

Got a great apartment for me in about an hour and a half including putting eyes on the apartments. I'm not especially picky so it may take longer for some but these guys work with your needs and wants to provide plenty of options.

Jessie helped me find my perfect apartment. I was looking on craigslist and kept seeing rent monster, I was initially skeptical because I honestly thought it was a scam. It is not! Jessie described it perfectly when she said she was a matchmaker for tenants and apartments. I am currently in an apartment that meets all of my needs and wants, all thanks to Jessie s help! RM is such a great service! Mary Alice was fantastic. She drove me to several units and had great knowledge of all the areas. RM is completely free and saved a ton of time and effort.

Sarah helped me find the perfect place that matched my budget, and also took into account my small child (we're very near an awesome park and on the bottom floor of our new building because he loves to run and stomp and I didn't want to be "that guy upstairs with the kid"). She was never pushy about getting me into a place I wasn't interested in. In fact, parking was so bad at one place that she apologized for even taking us there to begin with.

Moving is such a daunting task, and it was made SO much easier with Sarah's help. I LOVE my new place and I probably would never have found it if it hadn't been for Sarah and RentMonster.

This past April my bestfriend and I were looking for the perfefct apartment for two, I asked a friend and she referred me to Rent Monster. Recently used RentMonster, specifically Jessi Nystrom, to find my new place and had such a positive experience that I've already recommended Jessi to friends! Jessi was very knowledgeable of the places and landlords that she was showing me. Her pictures of the units on Facebook's Birmingham Community Housing Board were great quality, accurate and overall exceptional. She didn't force me towards a particular unit but was absolutely honest in answering my questions so I could make the most informed decision. She was there every step of the way and made herself available to answer questions, ask questions to the property manager on my behalf and even has followed up to see how I like my new place! I highly recommend her and RentMonster. If I move again, I will, without a doubt, be contacting Jessi again!!!

Zach was a great help with my apartment search! He really cared about finding a place I would love that was in my budget. RentMonster doesn't show apartments in the suburbs of Birmingham, but if you want to live in the neighborhoods around downtown you should talk to them first! They know the properties that will take care of their residents and the ones that won't.

Zachary worked with my wife and me about a year ago now, and he helped us find a 2 br within walking distance of UAB within our budget and in a decent area. The RentMonster service was incredibly helpful, and helped us find several places that we never would have found out about otherwise. All the options we were presented were reasonable and close to what we were looking for. We're preparing to move out of our place now, but having lived here I can say it worked out great. We were pretty low maintenance tenants, but haven't had any problems with H2, the real estate company that's been buying up a lot of the places around town, and who RentMonster seems to work with frequently. I've recommended these guys to several friends.

Mary Alice helped me find the dopest apartment in Five Points Downtown. Beautiful historic building with high ceilings and exposed brick. I called her and she had me in the place the next day for cheaper than any comparable apartment. Remember how awesome Shaq was in the movie Kazaam? She s like that but better.
