Oh man! What a gem this place is!! I could not have felt better. Comfortable stay, best views, insanely gorgeous pool deck. Not a single complaint!

We stayed at this hotel during the Easter bridge known through a casket.
It is located in the Serchio Valley, with a beautiful view and surrounded by greenery. Good breakfast (little variety of sweet food); small but nice spa, despite the not very crowded holidays; nice, tidy room with terrace but too hot; we had dinner one evening in the hotel restaurant: good food and friendly waiters. Staff available.
The city tax is a little too expensive.
Lovely place ..... very kind and extremely helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast .... spectacular view
At the hotel they are polite people, but in the apartment booking office they are rude, we have been waiting for five days for an answer on the availability of holiday apartments.
Cozy, luxurious place, very nice the receptionists with their tuscan spoken. Very suggestive is the fireplace (in winter). It is a little "uncomfortable" to reach but it's worth it for the view that you can enjoy. Breakfast is a blaze of food, satisfies all nationalities and the most refined palates Clean rooms and comfortable beds
Spectacular!!!!!!
very well-appointed rooms and impeccable service in a pleasant atmosphere
Cozy and elegant place, the only flaw that is a little bit far from everything. However it is worth isolating yourself a few days from the chaos of the city by being in the middle of nature.
Great accommodations with a beautiful view over the Tuscan countryside.
Magical place. Beautiful rooms and excellent restaurant. A few notes of demerit only to the indoor pool environment. Everything else absolutely pleasant. The staff is very friendly and even the dogs are welcome. Thank you
Very beautiful hotel. Service was great and the pool area was amazing. The restaurant was great. The views can't be beat!!
Something special.
You will be enchanted, on the terrace you will remain to admire the view!
The well maintained and clean residence, accessible in every room or corridor, the rooms well furnished and warm in winter, nice and cared staff.
All perfect
Hmmm where to start! Driving to the Renaissance is wonderful. That's it, we were bombarded with a Bombay wedding, a 5 day wedding. Omg noisy obnoxious group. Anyway the hotel staff are nice Italian people with little manners. The room was so small you could not swing a Kitten. The bar staff are not interested and the food was boring! Go to Switzerland for better views and better people. We were booked for 4 nights but left after 2. Sorry don't waste your time or money
Rude service
- not sure why renaissance thinks this is due to platinum priviledges.
- platinum priveledges have been given at every marriot at hotel except renaissance Tuscany. Even spoke to marriot directly and they said no hotel actually does what renaissance have done and they are just being a *holes
- has everything to do with the fact they called us at 1 in the morning to ask a 6 month pregnant women who just traveled 30 hours from Australia to *keep it down* mind you completely woke in a fright. And then couldn t go back to sleep due to the loud noises from downstairs due to the wedding party Renaissance was hosting. Unsure why they didn t confirm this first before calling us.
- the second night was even worse since this wedding party was have another party and slamming doors at midnight. Putting on Indian music and getting drunk in the hallways. I called 4 times over the space of an hour kept being told someone is coming yet no one called the room next door even though they had no problem calling us the night before.
- did I mention I m 6 months pregnant sun was shining in our room and the AC had been switched off. Yes after complaining we found out the AC is actually switched off after summer probably to save money of some sort absolutely ridiculous. Only option was to open the doors which then let the bees in.
Needless to say cut our trip short. Completely ruined Tuscany for us. And never will I be staying at the renaissance chain again. Not sure why marriot included them as part of their group. Big shame. Never had a bad experience as part of SPG. Our family has only ever stayed at these hotels upsetting for this experience to ruin it
Nice place nice location but with some flaws.
The expensive restaurant with few courses and all special if you wanted a plate of spaghetti with tomato or with clams (in short, classic things) not really talked about all strange things and the SPA very expensive and not well served only one girl available for which if my husband and I wanted to do something at the same time it was not possible before me and he had to wait 1 hour then he and I ditto with those costs (at least triple compared to a beauty farm) you had at least to roll out the red carpet as soon as you arrived ! For the rest of the rooms, excellent location and availability in the hotel
In the welcoming elegant environment and excellent dinner
Luxurious hotel in the middle of the beautiful countryside of Tuscany. Apart from resting, you can do a lot of activities around here.
View from hotel is amazing and rooms and services are superior. Food is really great; you start with a wide breakfast and you finish with a exhausting dinner. You never be hungry.
People are all helpful and spaces where to rest are a lot: swimming pool, spa, inside open spaces, outside area.
You should only hope to be here in a sunny day!
Beautiful location, beautiful but improvable rooms, kitchen to be reviewed.
Beautiful place, hotel equipped with swimming pool, gym, restaurant and bar, but far away no other culture.
We stayed for a very pleasant Brooks event clean rooms and nice staff also the cooking class ...
Great view, hotel is nice enough I was a bit disappointed by the breakfast. My experience might have been influenced by a big conference being held at the same time. But standing in line for self service coffee is not something I would have expected.
Overall ok.
Spectacular place, but service with a few flaws .. and the wifi didn't work !!!
Immense resort, with SPA and clean and welcoming pool.
Great food, high prices.
Very nice Marriott. Changed/upgraded my room after issues were reported. Left very happy. One negative is that the wifi was terrible there. Even if it connected, it was super slow.
Beautiful Bonvoy hotel Renaissance. Clean room, and nice bathroom . Food was good as well. Views for miles!
Excellent quality and helpful staff. Good standard rooms. Rich breakfast. Highly recommended to pull the plug
Elegant and well-maintained structure. Professional and very kind staff
Panoramic position, quality of services and above all courtesy and availability of staff
The hotel is beautifull, the staff is well prepared, kind anf gentle. The restaurant is Good, but I have had better buffets breakfast in other Marriott s hotels. The only inconvinience is that there is not a convinience store to eat something along The day. The only options are The bar os the restaurants hours. The rooms are good, thought The shower is very small.
What can I say ... A beautiful, fabulous, ultra-well-kept place, with excellent staff, all to be experienced and visited.
Excellent for relaxation ..
Seeing is believing
We were here for a 5 day conference. Rooms were spotless but required top up of toilet paper. Rooms were ok sized, only 2 small drawers for clothes. Beautiful area, lots of hills. Food delicious.
I spent 3 very pleasant days: the hotel is very nice and the staff very present. The view of the surroundings of the hotel further enriched. Clean rooms, Spa and indoor and outdoor pools complete the picture.
A special place to which many special memories are connected ... for those who love cars, motorcycles or bikes a paradise. For those who simply want to feel good ... the same.
Overall it was a great experience. A little far from the main areas but very nice and very nature orientated.
In laps of scenic hills...
Great place nd service is awesome.
Quiet surroundings and nice view. Friendly staffs but incompetent in general (trying to help without knowing how to solve the issue). No complimentary water, so better bring some bottles with you to the hotel as the drinks are pretty expensive. Food was nothing special. Suggest to make reservations at other restaurants in the local villages. Breakfast was just awful, really awful.....
The resort is fantastically beautiful and beautifully located above a small village. All amenities such as pool and spa are available, the staff is very friendly and accommodating, also very helpful. The resident excursion company offers wonderful day trips, for example to Florence, including shuttle service. A little tip: you should be able to speak at least a little Italian, which should be no problem at least nowadays thanks to various language learning apps :)
It was fantastic my wife and I spent 5 wonderful nights there. The villages around are beautiful and the people who work there are awesome.
Truly exceptional location almost enchanting.
SPA, swimming pool, top gym.
Excellent cocktails served at the bar and fantastic restaurant service.
One of the finest hotel experiences I've ever had. Extremely courteous staff, great spa, and a breathtaking view. Definitely worth staying! I'd recommend the pain relieve + mud bath massage.
Awesome location, nice view, good rooms and perfect hospitality, 100% recommend.
Great location, though you will need a car to get to any other locations.
A luxury resort in the countryside of northern Tuscany in a location sorrounded by nature, ideal for business events as well as short staying in a less known part of Tuscany.
Excellent experience, very friendly staff, beautiful location
Our favorite hotel in Italy. Great value, service, clean and very good location for day trips. You will need a car, but the parking is free. No executive lounge, but Platinum members usually obtain an upgraded room. Day trips to Lucca, Pisa, Forte De Marmi, etc. are fantastic...Staff are all great and speak excellent English...
Exceptional location, very beautiful and special activities offered, some deficiencies in the care of the structure but all in all it is a nice place.
Truly an amazing hotel and resort with incredible views and wonderful staff. It is a little bit off the beaten path but that makes it all the more enjoyable for relaxation and the hotel offers easy access to taxi service to take you to any of the small towns in the area; we ended up going to Barga on four different nights for dinner.
Watch out for the 5 day Indian weddings. It will destroy any serenity you would expect from a Tuscan hill location. Quite disappointing. One consolation was Antonia (I think that was her name, the manager on duty) who genuinely wanted to help but unfortunately, let down by a sub par upper management and surrounding team. This is a franchise agreement so don't expect anyone jumping to help members as there is no benefit in it for them.
Was not particularly happy with the hotel if im being honest. We had some hot days in February and the rooms were getting really hot but the hotel REFUSED to turn on the central AC as the central AC was off so none of the in room ventilators were working.
Also the gym is a joke. This hotel does NOT have a gym. It has a set of mats and 3 pieces of equipment. That is not a gym. Was disappointed seeing how much it costs to stay here.
A stunning hotel, a gorgeous view, a clean pool and a large clean and tidy room
And I ', liked the service, but the Spa nonexistent
The location, though some 10 min drive from the Barga town, is excellent and is perhaps the best part of the property. The drive up to the site is a pleasure indeed. There is also a nice trail connecting the resort to the Barga town. The rooms and other amenities are just as you would expect from a Marriott enterprise. Given the location it would perhaps be little challenging to stay here without having ones own transport..
Overall great stay but the beds not super comfortable.
