Very nice rooms and views. The entry way itself is very appealing and cozy. Overall the place is maintained well and has a friendly staff.

Just a beautiful place. I loved the event I went to in the ballroom and the catered food was great!

This place was utterly atrocious. The check-in and check-out times were cheap, inconvenient, and small. The staff did not provide a luggage cart, so we had to carry our bags to the room. Finally, the amenities were not open long enough. The only good thing was the price. I honestly recommend not staying this hotel.

This has to be one of the most beautiful hotels in the Southeast. The grounds are well kept and if you have a family and visit during the warmer months you will really enjoy the pool and deck areas! I was here for a meeting and was very pleased with the food and at night we visited the bar where you could order from a wide range of beer, wine and cocktails.

Five-star accommodations at it's finest. Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, well appointed rooms. It's also close enough to Birmingham to make a day trip into the city for some activities. My only warning would be that there are no eating establishments super close to the hotel, so plan ahead unless you plan to eat at one of the pricey restaurants on hotel property.

Absolutely relaxing and luxurious. The food is excellent and the atmosphere and views are unmatchable anywhere in Birmingham.

After a nice dinner across the street at the mall a couple of us had a drink at the lobby bar. It was nice, with Starbucks and full bar offering. I was sort of surprised that the price schedule for a glass of wine matched that of a business/conference hotel in larger city like Washington DC. I know Birmingham is a foodie town, so maybe I need to adjust my expectations.

I went to the Spa and had a 50 minute Swedish massage by Melinda. It was a wonderful experience. So relaxing!

The Salon D room was very nice and the staff were all very accommodating.

Love listening to the bagpipe being played at sundown.

Very elegant and comfortable hotel. Our room was not ready when we got there and it was couple weekend and we were suppose to have champagne and strawberries in our room but we had to ask several times for it. Over all great stay.

The location is prime with a spectacular view. The atmosphere is amazing. Everything from the view to the staff was top notch. Don't forget to try the Pulled Pork Sandwich...it will not disappoint!

Extremely helpful check-in staff. The online check in and my room ready. The room and accommodations clean and comfortable.

We had 30 rooms rented for a wedding. and everyone had issues checking in. Double charged for rooms on and on with problems. Stolen property in rooms as well as staff being the rudest I ve experienced. Staff kept gift boxes that were to be delivered to guest rooms. Bar staff tried to fight a guest. Nothing about this hotel was positive. We will never visit again!!

Parking is horrible, valet parking lot should be for customer parking, and the customer parking lot should be for valet. The rooms are just ok, the bathtub should have jets, shower should be bigger to fit two. Spa service not the greatest, to many appointments scheduled around the same time, to many people in such small places, not enough changing rooms, the whole experience felt rushed, unable to relax and enjoy for what was supposed to have been a spa day, best part of the weekend stay was the jacuzzi hot tub by the indoor pool, that was relaxing, till yelling screaming kids came in to use the pool. Overall this place is extremely over priced for lack of service and amenities.

Everyone very friendly and professional. Hotel is beautiful. Restaurants were very good eating. Just a great weekend with family.

As a homeowner, I pay over $750 in dues to the association. For that, I am supposed to receive 20% discount on services at the salon and spa. In 3 years I have never used the services.I went to buy a facial for a guest staying with me but the discount was not eligible in this setting. I suppose this is to prevent abuse of the discount. On the other hand, I find it ridiculous given that there is already a serious overcharge on every service they offer. Similarly, we used to eat at The Grill once a week until the food and service quality dropped far beyond the steep cost of the food.

I went to Ross bridge spa for my first massage experience. The staff was friendly and spa very clean and well kept. I booked an hour relaxation massage, my therapist was Mollie Glover. She came and got me from the lounge and walked me back to her room. Mollie was very knowledgeable and explained everything she did before hand and made sure I was comfortable. I was alittle nervous since this was my first massage but good thing I had a great therapist who took care of me and did an amazing job reliving tension and working a few spots she had noticed needed extra attention. Thank you again mollie!

The resort is tucked behind a very beautiful community. Im from the birmingham area but just driving thru the community to the resort already made me feel as if I was on a mini vacation. The exterior is magnificent.

I visited, Ross Bridge, for a day at the spa. Going to the spa portion of the resort gave me a secure feeling and an insured feeling of privacy. The lounge area had fresh snacks and coffee or tea while I waited for the masseuse. The room was comfy and my massage was out of this world. After my massage I was escorted back to the lounge area and was informed that I could either visit the sauna and/or hot tub untill I was ready to leave. They have showers available with shampoo and bodywash provided.

The young man that escorted me to the back was polite, very informative and made me feel at home. His name is Davis, I wish I would have gotten his last name.

The hotel and staff are nice and accommodating but my most recent visit to the spa was less than spectacular. The Ladies Lounge needs to be updated. I noticed a gash in the wall, worn and soiled carpet, damaged furniture, etc. However my biggest complaint was that on a Sunday morning, the trash bins in the restrooms (stalls and common areas) were full to overflowing. Did the cleaning crew get the day off? I then had to stand and wait to check out more than 11 minutes while the staff had any number of problems ringing up other guests. Very disappointing, as a trip to the spa used to be a treat. I'll be going elsewhere until I hear of renovations.

Much better experience than last time. Hotel staff was attentive and prompt to any and all requests. Room was quiet (not taking into account our 2.5 year old and 7 month old, ha) and spacious. Spent a fair amount of time with family in the lobby and that was very comfortable as well.

This property is extremely nice and the staff is accommodating. There are bicycle rentals as well as a very nice pool area for adults and kids alike.

My stay at this Hotel was absolutely amazing. Although for working. I didn't get to enjoy every part, but the limited service do to the times went way beyond measure. Great conversations, the comforts of home, and the nice quiet peaceful rest was just right. Will visit again.

Everything was great as usual. Wonderful ambience and very relaxing. The massage at Ross Bridge Spa is always the best. Had the VitaD Body treatment this time which was very invigorating and left my skin very soft. Also had the Collagen Boost facial which was way better than expected. My skin had a tighter feeling and a renewed glow and softness. Thank you all.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Outside of the property is very well kept. The rooms are really very outdated for the cost.

I went to the front desk during a business trip to ask for a late check out and the computer system showed me staying in a completely different room...
Once I said, that wasn't my room- they called security on me. I had been there over 24 hours and had to prove to security by taking him IN MY ROOMWITH MY THINGS to prove I had been there..
Overall- food ok. Staff- ok. I left my family to attend a business trip and expected more.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ross Bridge. Stayed there for one night with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. We got the King room which was absolutely gorgeous and everything I wanted and more. I didn't tell this to the clerk upon reserving the room but I really wanted a walk in shower and this room had it...the bathroom was beautiful. The balcony was very nice. What I really loved was breakfast the next morning. Somewhat pricey because we opted for the buffet but it was well worth it! A 5 star breakfast without a doubt! The beds are extremely comfortable. The only thing I wasn't in favor of was the fact that my boyfriend and I wanted to eat dinner there but you have to make reservations for dinner in advance you can't just go down and join everyone else for dinner. So we had to leave the property for dinner. Oh I had a surprise for my boyfriend when he got to the hotel and the desk clerk was very helpful and accomadating as well. I'll be visiting again very soon!

Great pool and service but the actual rooms are not that impressive

My son and I came for a staycation. We went swimming the last day and got locked out of the pool area. They had someone escort us out! I'll won't spent money here again. Wish I would have known before spending over $500 here.

Was there for an annual conference today. The staff, food, and atmosphere were all amazing. Beautiful place and fantastic atmosphere.

This is the only place i will go to get a massage. It is awesome!! The rooms are nice...customer service is always great up front for a hotel room but the girls booking the spas are rude. 5 stars because everything else outweighs the spa booking.

Had a top floor corner room overlooking the golf course. The view was beautiful and my toddler enjoyed playing on the extended balcony. The indoor saltwater pool was great for young swimmers. We throroughly enjoyed our meals from the Clubhouse Grill and Brock's. We plan on coming back, and I highly recommend a stay here!

We took a last minute trip to Birmingham and stayed at The Renaissance Ross Bridge. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff was friendly and assertive, the room was clean, and while we did not use the amenities, there were definitely some that we would be likely to use in the future. We will definitely be back!

If grand look and ambiance is important to you than go for it but if you want good service especially for a wedding then go spend your money somewhere else.
My son got married at Renaissance Ross Bridge a few months ago and it was nightmare. The staff and event management were difficult from the very beginning. They promised so many items verbally and that they conveniently left out of the contracts. Items that were changed in the contract were the minimum requirement for food and beverage which went from $15,000 to $22,000. If you choose to host any event here, I would suggest going through each line of the contract because they are shady and change items at every turn.
Our first event was on a Friday evening. When our guests arrived for check-in, the rooms were not ready for check-in. The hotel policy is that check-in is possible at 4:00pm. The hotel was well aware that we had several out of town guests coming in and were aware of how many guests we had several months out from the date. Our poor guests were sitting in the lobby waiting for check-in for well over an hour. This is unacceptable when you have the check in time in writing and you are spending this kind of money at the venue.
Ross Bridge completely botched the lunch at one of our events. The lunch was to be served at 11:00am and they would not allow our caterer to start set up the food, though he arrived at 10:00am with hot food it did not get set up till way past 11:00 am schedule lunch time. All of our guests stood around and waited while the hotel staff set up burners for 45 minutes. The caterer was not allowed to set up his food so that it could be served hot. In the end up food got cold and our guests complained of cold food and the delay was over an hour further delayed Baraat and rest of the program. The Chef who was there for vendors meeting was not on duty so details never got passed down to the staff on duty.
Ross Bridge will swindle you out of money spend so please take your business elsewhere. Breakfast was ordered for 75/50 people for two days. Small tray of basic was set up scrambled eggs were cold. We had to look for staff, when any items ran out. The cocktail hour appetizers were purchased for 480 guests. The servers would bring the food out once or twice and never appear with them again. We ordered crab cakes for 200 people and a tray of 50 was taken out of freezer and not even that was brought out, one time I had seen tuna wanton and brochette, she just walked around never offered .even Samosa got served without chutney. No body knew we had crab cake, tuna wanton. Guest asked if we had food I had to call event manager to bring food out. Their servers are not kind and did not engage or offer the guests the food. The staff is very poorly trained and it shows. After complaining about how this was handled, the hotel offered us a $500 credit for a charge of $2800. It was lazy on the part of the hotel and their person in charge of Food and Beverage was not present or helpful. Event Manager Lack of diligence caused our event to be a disaster. Rooms were not that great either one of our guest room ac was not working so they gave one night credit since they had to change his room; lights were flickering in entrance of the room in several rooms. There were many other problems with this hotel and I do not recommend it to anyone for hosting event specially a wedding. The staff from the event manager to the food and beverage, housing manager to the servers is all poorly trained and there is no communication between the different levels. The service is horrendous and they are all very unprofessional. For the high-price charged by the resort is not justified, based on the poor quality of the resort s service, food- quality & quantity, rooms and overall experience. Service is horrible. Dealing with Ross Bridge was stressful and agonizing each step of the way. Save yourself the time, money and stress and please go find another venue.

I played golf at the resort. Everyone was courteous and helpful. I went to the same place several years ago and they were not as friendly. It looks like things have improved.

Great place to stay overnight and also lots of activities for the family.
