Love this place. Pricey but worth it if you're coming to Indian Wells.
Love this place. Pricey but worth it if you're coming to Indian Wells.
Pretty nice place for the price. The resort is very nice with nice relaxing surroundings.
Excellent hotel. Great for conventions. The pool is really nice.
I was there for a 3 day conference and found the amenities comfortable and relaxing. Room service was not the best since I had to call 4 times to get additional blankets and the attendant could not replace coffee cups for the room. Expected better service overall
Very clean and nice rooms, extremely impressive how cool the hotel is all around you walk in and are refreshed with AC even when it s up to 115 outside. Pool is usually very busy during the day but empty at night, only issue is that at night the bar shuts down outside and there s no music by the pool so very bland I guess you could say, other than that staff is amazing and polite and location is very centralized for the Palm Springs area
Hotel is very luxurious, but so luxurious that you get the feeling that you don't belong there, so the experience was not very pleasant.
they have a nice pool area. the hotel has very luxurious vibe.
Property is showing its age, but staff is first rate
amazing experience. Keys would not work and security would not let our wives and kids ages 9mos-4 years into the room. Thanks guys keep up the good work.
Comfy chairs in conference center. Pool and spa were perfectly heated. Fun games with good quality equipment on the terrace level. Unfortunately there was a spider in our room (7th floor) and a live cockroach in our friend's bed (6th floor). Also I had requested 2 double beds when booking over the phone, but was given 1 King bed at check in and no double beds were available.
Outstanding property with 2 pools, 3 restaurants including sushi, bar in the lobby, 2 large parkings in front and rear, gym, coffee shop in lobby, spa..etc i stayed for 7 nights on 4th floor facing the pool in early June 2019. Dozens of people that i met during CITD conference feel the same about the hotel, just splendidly wonderful. Property has massive golf course surrounding it but no noise is ever heard.
Had a wonderful stay! Very friendly staff, clean rooms, and beautiful view. Will certainly be back!
Awesome place. Tons to do and very nice rooms and service
Friendly staff, nice accommodations, great/new facilities. WiFi is a bit spotty and doesn't reach the conference halls, and cuts out even with the conference hall-specific WiFi. Also the connecting closets to the bathroom are strange. Basically renders the bathroom door lock into a mere suggestion.
Fantastic stay and fantastic resort! Will be back again soon. Such a great location and amenities.
Great place to stay with wonderful amenities and an amazing pool complex. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.
The food options were okay, but nothing spectacular. The pizza place isn't that great and the sushi at the sushi bar seemed kind of dry. But there are plenty of great places to eat in the area!
My room was spacious and clean with a great balcony view. So relaxing!
Really nice hotel, friendly staff.
Under some Reno's but not too impactful.
Absolutely the go-to place to stay in Indian Wells. The poolside bar is like Splash House for adults.
Nice hotel, great people but the parking situation was lousy. $38 a day to valet park?!?! Saturday, I drove around for 67 minutes waiting for parking, the lot and the garage were completely full. As a hotel guest, paying what I was paying, that is sad. Very sad. Next time, we will look for a better parking situation.
Fantastic resort in a beautiful setting. My room was large and very comfortable. I wish I could have stayed longer!
The rooms are very nice and the resort facilities are top notch
Stayed during CITD Conference. What an amazing hotel for the venue. And how wonderful the staff here were.
Terrible management, housekeeping is the issue at this location. We stay at alit of Marriott hotels all over the world. They need to make a change!
Was a guest at this hotel for a wedding. Fantastic venue, amazing staff. It was a great place to stay.
Nice outside area with seating around several fire pits for relaxing with friends.
This place is awesome. Definitely should stay here if your going to be in the area.
A nice high end resort. Great room, good service. Great TV with good channels
I don't think it's worth $430.00 a night. If you're really into golfing and old ass folks lounging by the pool than its the place for you. Otherwise find somewhere that's a bit less expensive and younger people will surely appear. Food seems to taste the same all through the hotel.
Come here and sleep in the room and you will certainly enjoy it.
It is a beautiful place! It is a great place to host a conference. The staff are very welcoming. Smile.
Beautiful property, food is reasonably priced though drinks are pricey. Staff is delightful.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Renaissance.
Another "Memorial Day at the Marriott" in the books. Great service by Matthew in the Glo Lounge/Sushi and great service at the pool bar by Tony. Wonderful hotel.
Two words... Jedi Academy! Next level training to take your business to the next level!!
Customer service is top notch here. I cannot say enough good things about every single staff person I encountered during my trip. I was here in business but would love to bring the family back.
Good. I got a room on the side wing. Took so long to walk to.
This is the best place to go if you want to really enjoy a getaway!
Attending an event, this was my second visit to this resort. Everything was beautiful and clean! Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.
Came here to attend a trade show event and I will say this hotel does justice for it's Marriott/Renaissance hotel chain.
Perfect in every way, the place is massive and well maintained. Of all the hotel, the swimming pool here is incredible and felt more like a lake. The two outdoor Jacuzzi was very relaxing against the backdrop of sunset, and the on premise coffee shop had real good coffee, salads and sandwiches that won't cost an arm and an leg. Self parking can be a 5 minute hike.
Restaurant choices for dinner here is very minimal (I ended up with Grub Hub). There's Cava and a small Japanese restaurant (didn't have anyone in it) and Room Service will be a shell shocker.
I did experience a minor problem with my stay (more of confusion; my elite status included breakfast and they directed me to the Cava restaurant and then a charged showed up on my bill) but the Marriott service kicked in and they removed the charge.
As with other luxury hotel, expect a "tax" added to the room that covers a bunch of facility benefits.
The Good: Great family resort with lots of activities for kids. Sushi restaurant was great, coffee / gelato shop even better for kids. The pool was crowded but lots of fun. Night activities while star gazing was perfect.
The bad: Valet a bit pricey $30 a night. The 30 minute rule of the Sun Lounges caused a lot of problems. #1 we took two sun lounges about 5 minutes later person became beligerant and angry at me accusing me of stealing her valuables. I stood my ground respectfully when she went to call security they explained the rules gave back her goods and no apology was given to me. An hour later the same was repeated by another patron but it got verbally insulting. The young lady attacked the lady sitting in what was her chair. After being talked to by security her attack went to them. She kicked and slapped them. Her belligerent attitude continued for 20 minutes outside the pool area. Finally the kids pool had too many adults drinking in it to the point that there were couples swinging with each other in the pool. Guys playing football, and drunks ... All in the children's pool.
Love the place this is our escape from the city but we really have to think twice about coming back.
Beautiful place that makes you feel away from it all. Very nice staff as well.
This was an absolute spot to come! 5 stars will be back.
Nice hotel. A favorite for the well-to-do when they party in Coachella Valley.
A beautiful, expansive property. The minute you walk through the front doors, all your tension is released.
Staffing is always helpful and courteous.
Have had rooms that were outstanding, while others, not so much.
You can never go wrong with the newer section.
This is a wonderful resort. Came here for a conference. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable. The food has been top notch and the service is thoughtful, caring and attentive. This is a destination that is well worth you time and relaxing beyond measure.
The hotel is pretty good. You can log into netflix on the tvs which is nice. The pool does get pretty crowded at least for this weekend, so I didnt really want to go swimming. The hotel is clean and the decor is nice.
We had a wonderful weekend in Palm Springs! The pool and other amenities were great!
We were only there for one night but we had a great time!
Nice hotel, room was very far from the lobby though and elevators were not all operational.
Very nice hotel for the price. Pool, sitting area and lobby are beautiful, rooms are pretty nice but nothing amazing.
Picked up volunteer package and training for Career Builder tournament
Beautiful amenities. On a large property with many day activities and great service.
The rooms were clean, the included venues were entertaining, and the location was beautiful. I would have given 5 stars, but some of the staff were very rude. For the most part, however, they were kind and helpful.
A super resort for golf, it wants for attractions in the off season.
The staff, the resort, the golf, it's all exquisite! I have no complaints, and will be back here the next time im in Plan Springs!
I had a good time in this hotel, it was pricey but it was totally worth it, the staff at the registration were a little lost sometimes not knowing what they were doing but the people at the pool bar and at the restaurant were very nice to us. I highly recommend this place.
Rooms are nice as is the staff. Hotel management however does not take social distancing standards into consideration when planning occupancy. They say they are at 75%, which means that most guests are on spring break and therefore at the pool, which is the problem. There is no way to social distance with this size of pool at 75%! It s not rocket science math..I would have stayed elsewhere had I known they allowed this many guests as the state tries to move out of COVID.
Resort was very nice. Grounds and building very clean. Views were fantastic. Rooms were very good. Staff was friendly and courteous.
First time to the Palm Springs area and we were NOT disappointed! I hadn t booked with the hotel directly and was a bit nervous since it was booked through a third party. The hotel was amazing from the views as we drove up the driveway to the valet people helping us unload the car, even though I did self park, to the the hotel staff at the front desk who were welcoming and made us feel valued & important, they were amazing. Our room was nicely appointed. It is an atrium style hotel. My only concern was the live music during the afternoon was easily heard in our room on the 5th floor. So if you like an afternoon nap, it would have been restless.
Day 2 - poolside, which is where we spent most of our time. Tony, the bartender was so much fun. His personality is perfect for his career. He learned it was our daughter s 21st birthday and he made it fun! He also had a fatherly intuition in giving her the right message about drinking blended drinks in the Cali Desert ! He was a perfect gentleman. The front desk sent up champagne and beautifully dipped strawberries.
The complimentary products in the room were very nice. The housekeeping staff were very accommodating, and pleasant!
The Cava restaurant waitress (I wish I could remember her name) was so kind. And excellent even for a large group of 13 for brunch! She made sure to get the special orders correct, and always was smiling!
I would strongly suggest this hotel if you are in the area! They have complimentary bikes. Their fitness area is large and clean! The terrace is beautiful.
Nice amenities, good pool/spa area, friendly service.
I only stayed at the Renaissance for a day but I've stayed overnight in the past. Rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. Even right over the valet pickup. The pool is beautiful and the restaurants have decent variety and prices for the quality of food.
Very good place The workers are friendly and are aware of what you need.
I was at a luncheon for author Marcia Clark. I was on the committee planning the event. The room was set up nicely, the staff could not have been more polite and helpful. When I saw there was a small problem of people findingbthe proper room, more signage was promptly added, and one of the staff stood at the bottom of the stairs directing. The good was very tasty, and the staff accomodatef my need for a special meal. All in all, a very pleasant day.
My kids had fun at the pool and room was clean and quiet. Pizz restaurant was overpriced and not very good. Other than that, it was great
Very nice hotel, friendly staff.kids loved the pool with it's inflatables. Stayed for my birthday and came back to my room late to find a bottle of champagne and cake with birthday message which was fantastic. Breakfast is one of best I've had with lots of fresh fruit and a great juicer. Will come again.
