We went to Peter Pan and the performance was incredible. The actors are talented, the stunts and stage background brilliantly choreographed. And we were so lucky with the weather. I've dropped a star because they ran out of coffee at the interval which seems like a basic to not forget with a full bar and hundreds of thirsty people.
Went with family to watch Midsummer Nights Dream. I absolutely loved it. Apart from the odd few people in the crowds it was a wonderful experience. Be sure to buy some delicious ice cream during the breaks too. The actors were exeptional
Truly impressive performances and highly enjoyable Jesus Christ Superstar.
The open air theatre never disappoints! Creative, innovative and moving productions with fantastic casts and great sets everytime! Having seen the crucible, seven daughters for seven sons and most recently Peter Pan I know I shall be back next year to catch what they have in store! Worth every penny!
The staff were very helpful. The events are brilliant. But the setting is magical.
I have never been inside that is why I give just 4 stars though from outside it looks really great.
Amazing venue. Prepare for all weather but seeing an evening show here as the sun sets into twilight makes it extra special.
Best ever show of Evita, it's a beautiful performance space, was blown away by its beauty and the atmosphere.. Food was fab, will definately return
It is a wounderfull place ! Day or night it is still lovely !! 5*
Normal British weather would make for a lovely experience. On a really hot day like today, watching the performance can be hard to do as over heating like a slowly melting ice cube makes concentration difficult.
Great theatre and fantastic performance of A Midsummer Nights Dream.
Amazing venue :) fingers crossed for no rain. You can take you drinks with you and enjoy the show. Bar with fairy lights is magical in the evening
We went to this venue for the first time to watch the Mary Poppins , Outdoor Luna Cinema experience.
Plus the toilets were very good for the venue lol
The theatre itself is great with very comfortable seating but do be prepared for shows to be interrupted or even cancelled due to drizzle. Anyone who puts an umbrella up in the show should be publicly slapped. Bring a jacket with a hood. The quality of production will dictate how much you enjoy your evening of course so, turning to the food, drink and service...all three were fantastic. Very friendly staff, well-priced wines and beers and a very tasty burger. The bf had the vegetarian stack of mushroom, peppers and Lord knows what which looked pretty disgusting and soggy to me but he's a vegetarian and said it was great. Little bit pricey but in those surroundings, who's gonna complain?
Out of this world performance, when I went here to see The little Shop of Horrors, Absolutely Brilliant, I Loved It
Lovely place, interesting performances. Would highly recommend.
This is a beautiful venue to see a play, and the view of the stage is good - even in the cheap seats. The three productions i have seen there have all been excellent - but take the possibility of rain seriously! (They do sell rain ponchos if thou get caught out.) They will carry on if they can but the last show i saw was cancelled 20mins in. They won't give your money back, but if a show has been rained off you have a right to new tickets for any future performances of any show without a time limit.
Great venue even when the weather isn't at its best. Very friendly and polite staff. Book your drinks and food when you book your ticket and its all waiting for you. Sound system is superb, especially considering it's outdoors.
Saw an afternoon performance of EVITA.
Absolutely marvelous. Full house: not a spare seat. Standing ovation at the end. Richly deserved.
Lovely setting, shows are always great even if sitting toward the back. I like that you can take your own food and drink with you. It can get chilly once the sun goes down so a coat or blanket are a must
Wonderful venue and wonderful show. Evita. Stunning production.
Best place in town, honestly, my favourite spot in town.. First date? Go there and see a show. Enjoy this special and secret theatre. Bring a blanket and cover her after the first interval. Look up at the sky... and don't forget to buy a bottle of wine! You are going to love it as much as I do!
Great atmosphere, but all depends on the play and the weather
Truly stunning theatre utilising the outdoors. It may get wet and cold but pack a picnic and enjoy the show. Always has innovative ways of putting on a show. Bit of a walk from the tube but always a memorable evening
The venue and cast in Jesus Christ Superstar yesterday, for my belated 70th birthday present, were absolutely phenomenal! Thank you very much.
A fantastically unique experience, perfect on a warm summer evening!
Unbeatable on a warm sunny evening. Magical as twilight creeps in.
An incredible theatre in London and certainly my favourite. The performances was like no other and the atmosphere is electric!
Amazing emotional production of "Our Town" in a beautiful setting. Can't fault the venue, staff or booking service.
Wow,what a great experience.Everybody must look online and book for next season
An absolute must do..
Amazing night. Great food... Friendly staff and the show was awesome
Excellent venue. Lovely staff. Great play. Will come again!
Love it who even knew it was here;.i would so come again
Just a wonderful experience and outing. The productions vary in quality (some really excellent) but I make sure to go at least once every season because it s a great afternoon or evening. We always take a picnic, some drinks and some snacks.
Love this place. Such a cool set up and a different way to see some cool productions in London. 100% worth a visit if you are in London.
Has bars and food too.
What a fantastic location and the theatre is very comfortable. We went during the Covid crisis, but it all felt very safe and well organised. We saw Jesus Christ Super Star, it was a very good production, and a talented cast so full of energy. We will go again
Went to see EVITA open air production. It was excellent really enjoyed it. Had a meal and some drinks in the Covered Dining staff were so. polite and helpful. Loos were really well maintained. Had a great day
Location is beautiful, performance (Evita) I did not like at all
Great production, good food and excellent service. I had not been to an open air theatre before and was sceptical.
I am now fully won over and can't wait for my next visit. If you haven't tried it give it a go. Lovely setting and feels more intimate than conventional theatre.
Saw Oliver Twist last week with my 6 year old grandson who I think was far too oung for this awful production. It was impossible to keep up with the characters as they changed roles all the time which was confusing for the little ones.
My grandson has been frightened ever since of dying!
Thanks Regents Park Open Air Theatre. This play was mis-selling to the wrong age group!!!!!!
Little Shop of Horrors at the Regents park open air theatre was incredible. The all round experience and connection between actors and the audience was marvellous. It was a hilarious and exhilarating performance that's well worth going to.
Amazing atmosphere and stage, unique theatre experience
Magical as always! Great show last night - Little Shop of Horrors. Really worth seeing.
miss this place. Can't believe we won't be able to attend any performance this summer.
Great venue with bars and food available. Good seats, all with a good view of the stage. If the sun it will make for a great night out. Something a bit different to do in London. Highly recommend
This place is a hidden gem; it's so easy to forget you are in the middle of the city! You really need to go! Just do it.
We saw 'On The Town' last night.... STUNNING performances and a fabulous show, REAL TALENT up there, beautifully choreographed
and directed , we loved EVERY thrilling minute. Thank you guys you are all so talented, dynamic, and SO charming!!!!!!!
We saw pride and prejudice there and it was an absolute delight despite the cold evening
