A must visit place in London!! I came to watch Shakespeare play "as you like it". What a marvelous modern version of Shakespeare's play! The outdoor theatre add a surprise element to the play.

Worth the expensive tickets for an impressive, creative show (Little Shop of Horrors) with a great view.
Plenty of toilets so not too much queueing, and lovely green surroundings in the theatre and around it in the park.

Great venue, its a fairly small open air theatre which makes for an intimate experience, we saw comedian Jimmy Carr and although we were around the middle of the theatre it felt like we were right up front! The bar is nice, usual London prices, entry an exit is easy, loos were decent. Be warned it is open air so be prepared! The rain did make an appearance during the show we attended but it really wasn't a big deal and there was a stall selling ponchos if needed.

The shows here are a bit hit and miss also the open air thing is tricky because if like me you end up going on the hottedt day of the year you want to kill yourself before the drama even begins...

It's always a treat to go to Regent's Park Open Air Theatre. Very friendly staff. Great views of the stage from all areas of seating. We'll staffed bar area preventing queues and easy access to complimentary water.

The stirring opening riff from JCS brought tears to my eyes! It was such a relief to be watching a live show and the concert version did not disappoint. Congratulations to all involved in staging and performing this iconic musical...stirring vocals and choreograpy. Thank you!!

A really lovely open air theater.

A really lovely open air theater.
We had booked a picnic with wine before. The prepared basket was really nice, the food was typical english but the wine very good.
It is a very nice atmosphere and we would book it again. The theater itself is very nice and cozy, but the play (as you like it) did not please us so much.
Still worth a visit!

Incredible. What a venue. The sun set as the play went into its darker half, creating an amazing atmospheric tension. There's nothing that feels quite as magical as open air theatre on a warm summers night

A lovely place for outdoor theatre when 1) you can find it on time as Regents Park is pretty big! 2) you have the right kind of weather 3) you have a good seat 4) you have good company to hang out with before during & after! Not easy to get it all right at the same time - best in Summer when the days are longer!

Theatre production itself was great but ruined by the fact that pigeons sit on the poles above the back row. Lots of pigeon poo and difficult to concentrate when constantly trying to dodge it! Three of us got hit. Paid a lot for tickets so expect better.

All that would be needed are some plastic spikes on like at train stations. But duty manager didn't seem too interested in doing anything about it so will probably happen to others in future.

Shame because we would have loved it otherwise.

We saw Peter Pan and absolutely loved the atmosphere of the theatre and the show itself. This feels a lot more inclusive than West End shows which feel a bit stuffy. All ages and types of people feel comfortable here and it's an absolutely lovely setting in a great park. Highly recommend both the show and the venue!

Looking forward to Jesus Christ Superstar . Had best tickets, booked train and dinner in London and arrived at the theatre so excited. Band came on and rain came down and show called off. Please consider putting a shell over the stage and a non slip surface. It would not detract from any ambience and enable customers to not be at the risk of the weather. Sadly going home desperately disappointed at this waste of money and waste of an evening.

Jesus Christ Superstar was superb!!
So uplifting and life affirming.
Felt privileged to be part of the audience in the presence of incredible performances.
Thank you Regents Park Theatre.. and thank you all the fabulous cast!!!

Lovely theatre spot, surrounded by trees. Seats are reasonably comfy as far as theatres go and lots of places for drinks, with seating nearby. Could do with another toilet block, queue was massive in the interval!

I've never been disappointed with any performance here. Evita was spectacular, Jesus Christ Superstar and Sound of Music also in recent years.

It's well worth a visit on a summers evening. Food and drink available are also good if a little pricey - but I try and visit every year.

I was able to get closer to nature and enjoy the cooling air of the natural wind instead of an air conditioner. The play was entertaining and creative in many ways, the actors was very convincing and it's a wonderful way to spend a day.

This open air theatre is simply magical! It's definitely one of London's unmissable summer experiences with twinkling fairy lights, a gorgeous park setting and fab set design. There are loads of toilets too, which is always a big plus for any theatre! There's a cafe serving soft drinks, cakes, coffee and tea, and a bar area (it's possible to order drinks in advance for the interval). I didn't eat here, but the restaurant area looked really lovely.

Theatre always depends on the production and this version of Evita is really good with lots of energy and some fantastic singing.
The Regents Park Open Air theatre is one of my regular summer trips. Over he years theu have improved the food and facilities. Still long queues for the ladies but better than it used to be.
Arrive ahead of opening time to be sure of getting a table to eat before the concert. Lovely place on a warm summers evening but can be miserable in the rain, it's open air after all.
In recent years I've seen several great musical productions here. Well worth a visit.

Amazing experience, great views from every seat. Got very chilly on the evening so bring a blanket or be prepared to spend money to buy one. A fault meant that there were no hot drinks available, also big queues for refreshments during intermission; didn't seem very well organised.

Lucky enough to have chosen a balmy evening when I booked 6 months ago, but it would be difficult to fault the experience even if it had been cold and damp.
Lovely to relax with a picnic in the garden before the show.
My only fault would be the indistinct vocals.
Will certainly look at what productions are on next year and hope for perfect weather again

Great venue! All seats have good view, and they are proper seats, I was worried it might be benches or just big steps. Bar on site is pretty with fairylights and (obviously) lots of greenery. There is a little picnic area if you want to picnic before the show, not sure if you could bring your own alcohol in though

We went to see Dinosaur World Live for my son's birthday treat, and it was really amazing and exciting. The theatre itself is lovely, and well laid out. The food on offer is good quality. The loos are very clean and spacious. There are plenty and we never had to queue. The whole experience was really good. I'd definitely come again.
