Highly recommended for tourists and locals alike! I saw Henry V here on a beautiful spring evening, and it was delightful. The performance itself was extremely well done (on a par with the Globe, if not better), and the setting was intimate and peaceful. It wasn't too crowded (for once), and being in the middle of a beautiful park with trees and birds all around you while you're also enjoying a show was an amazing experience.

The bar is also great - the hot chocolate was delicious, and there are a bunch of different flavors to choose from.

All in all, this was one of the highlights of my three-month stay in London!

Saw Evita here and had a lovely picnic beforehand. It was a nice sunny day and the play was extra enjoyable with champagne.

If the weather is bad though I wouldnt recommend it unless you want to be bundled up and squshed against other viewers in thick coats

Watched The Sound of Music in the Regents Park Open Air Theatre and it was just superb! The setting is unreal - you would never think you were in the middle of London! I had previously watched The Sound of Music in the West End and although the stage was more limited due to fewer technological features and rather being "at one" with the nature around you... the show was fantastic... I would say better than the West End production just because of the magic of the setting! Do yourself a favour.. and go!! The clouds cleared for us, the stars were shining and everyone was singing along to their favourite Sound of Music tunes!!

I saw Little Shop if Horrors which was excellent!! However, it's great venue, so check out what's on (summer months only). Drinks and food also served in the bar, but take your own picnic for a full evening out!

When to see Little Shop of Horrors. A superb performance by all the cast including Vicky Vox as the plant and Matt Willis and the dentist. The theatre is open air (obviously) so take waterproofs if rain is forecast. Seats are cushioned and comfy. A large range of food and drink is available if you want to get there early. The can be quite a queue for the toilets in the interval. But they go down quickly if you wait. Thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely place! I saw Evita, which was excellent, Samantha Pauly was fantastic as the title role, and the rest of the cast was great--the dancers were amazing and the actor playing Che was brilliant if occasionally distracting as he stayed on stage through scenes he had no part in. The venue itself was great, sheltered from wind and we could hear everything very clearly even at the back of the seats. Drinks were good if expensive, and staff were helpful and polite.

I have always loved this theatre and was so disappointed when the Virus gave us no hope for it returning this year ! However, they put on a Concert version of Jesus Christ Superstar and my friend Sue and I went.
It was a glorious night, perfect temperature in every way.
I had seen the original production of this wonderful piece all those years ago and loved the score from then on. I cannot say enough, there aren't superlatives I can think of to recommend this great piece once more.
The voices, orchestra and the organisation for Distancing and security for the audience members was really good.
The music was just as thrilling as it had been the first time I had been lucky enough to see it and lo' and behold, who was sitting in the audience in the middle of the stalls was the inimitable Andrew Lloyd Weber who clapped enthusiastically as did the whole of the audience. The lead singers were exceptional, my only sadness was that there was no
"Cast List" therefore I cannot mention any names of the superb Bass voice and the lead playing Mary. I will investigate if there is any way for me to find one as I am an avid collector of programs and would love to follow the careers of these great singers.

This is a very nice venue in the middle of Regent's Park. Just saw Adam Kay (This is going to hurt). The whole venue has been well thought through and designed. It was quite pretty. The show was brilliant too!

A bit of a hidden gem in London. Came for an evening performance of Evita. Great atmosphere. Nice big bar and restaurants inside the theatre. Plus, you can take your bottle of wine in to watch the show. Recommend taking a blanket and scarf if the forecast is a bit chilly!

A truly magical place hidden in the calm and beauty of Regent s Park, away from the chaos of the Euston Road. I love this. You really feel like you are part of the performance there. Especially on a really balmy evening after a nice meal. There's something magical about being outside and soaking up the atmosphere watching a piece of theatre. Would recommend to a friend.

A superbly magical theatre venue. Aslong as the rain stays aways - which to be honest can sometimes add to the atmosphere - and bring a blanket or jacket for the 2nd half of the performance as it can get chilly.. You're in for an incredible night. If you've not experienced outdoor theatre before.. This is a great theatre to start!

This was a great night. Having a little snack on blackets in group of 4 or 5 buddies. Good talks, eating fruits, and bread and drinking vine. And then having a great show outside. I love good plays outside. It is a very special feeling and so different. I guess I prefer watching plays outside thans sitting in a room ^^ - We've seen "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (2012) - it was really cool.
