I spent 8 wonderful weeks in Regent school. The teachers were friendly. Always they helped me when I had a problem. I am glad that I might just be in this school. All I would recommend this school.
Attended this to train as a language teacher 2005 and do NOT recommend the CELTA training course if this is still running and being run by same personnel..
Academic psychologist and management consultant (50s) on course opined that the bullying by trainers systemic. Went to one of the trainers and challenged trainer, who said that "they had also suffered a lot of stress on this side of the wall ".
Two students had worked successfully according to CELTA guidelines before training but nearly failed, one of them massively demoralised. Another one left the course in a state of near breakdown.
One of the trainers admitted she found the other large trainer prone to invasion of personal space very intimidating, eg leaning over trainee's desk, getting right in the trainee's face, and bawling him or her out.
Feedback to external assessor was set up so that aggrieved students could either prepare for assessments (scheduled to run straight after feedback) or voice grievances.
Assessor was told there were problems and another session requested but external assessor vanished.
Trainers handed out feedback forms with pre-set questions, and told trainees if there were any answers to questions about complaints or room for improvement, those forms would be binned.
Some of the fee-paying foreign students complained bitterly to trainees about the teaching they were receiving from one of the trainers.
Double standard in operation. Trainees taught the voluntary students, some of whom were noisy and disruptive. Even gentle reprimands strictly forbidden and penalised for assessment purposes, but during one of the male trainees' assessed lessons he reprimanded the students and was backed up by the trainer assessing, who said told the trainee that the voluntary students only came in to flirt and giggle with "good-looking young male trainees." We were being assessed on attractiveness to trainers as well it seemed!
I spent 4 weeks in Regent School, and it was a great experience for me. I improved my english language thank to the teachers work.
Teachers and staff are so kindly and very helpful.
Courses are very dynamics and interesting, it is a real pleasure to go at the school every day !
I and my friends have studied at several schools in the UK for English language. This school is the worst school I have ever studied. The quality is very bad and the boss of staffs is so disrespectable to the students. She is a shameless person. I would NEVER recommend this school. I regret that I have spent my time at this school. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ! DO NOT WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS LIFE !

I would like to say that this School is one of the most unfavourable Schools in England.
The Boss was very impatiend and the staff members were very unfriendly and not helpful. Besides everyone who works there treating themselves in a very unpolite way and especially interns who have a different Skin colour.
The Boss of the Regent School insults her employees and interns.
So please never go there or think twice if you would like to book a course or do an internship there.

I completed a 3 month internship at the end of 2018 with Doris and her lovely colleagues. It was my first work experience abroad which was intimidating at first but Doris made sure that I'd fit right in. At first, there is a steep learning curve but if you're motivated to work hard in an international environment, it is an excellent work experience. If you're looking for an internship, this is the place to be.
Regent is the best school I've ever been, in terms of learning english and about life in general. They really focus on your goals, on what you want to get and the best way for you to get it. They will work with you like a little family to increase your english and confident at the same time to the highest level. This experience has really changed my life!

I studied there for a couple of weeks in 2007. My teachers were great! I loved the materials we used in class. I still have them! I met awesome classmates. I had so much fun.
