The hotel is noble. The rooms for a 4 star hotel spacious enough. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. No bathtub. All clean. I think it is relatively centrally located. Unfortunately no garage. But parking in front of the hotel.

I checked in for a 10 night stay on a business trip, the check in was quick and the staff was very friendly and professional. The room I was given was a bit plain for a 4 star property, but had a beautiful balcony which overlooked the city. Outside of a bit traffic noise, I was very content with my room. The prices for minibar items, and almost everything is priced ridiculously high for a 4 star hotel in this region. Also on the 4th day of my stay the housekeeping staff threw my food away, I contacted the reception staff and was pleasantly surprised when they immediately made it right and comped me a replacement meal of choice. If my review would have ended here, I would have gladly given this property 5 stars, despite the high prices, and plain rooms, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and the hotel gives off a very homey vibe. Sadly my review has to include a disconcerting incident with the owner of this hotel. On the 8th day of my stay, as I returned to my room, I noticed a large number of police officers present in, and around the hotel, and I saw a man who was behaving very belligerently and also yelling incoherently at the police officers on scene, to the shock and utter amazement of guests and staff alike. To my absolute horror the belligerent man was the owner of the hotel, Raafat Sarieddine. Amazingly with no sense of irony whatsoever he Introduced himself to me and invited me to sit and have a coffee with him. His first question to me with was, how I was enjoying my stay at his hotel? I proceeded to bring up the noise incident, without mentioning the fact that he was the reason for the noise. Without even acknowledging what I had said about the noise, he proceeded to rant incoherently to me about perceived government and police corruption, and how he always likes to talk to guests because they have made him "rich", and a humorous incident from the previous night where he had ironically escorted my daughter to the room. About 10 minutes into his "rant" a couple of men approached his table, and I was rudely whisked away with the words "leave now." This whole bizarre incident with the owner, is among the strangest and most disconcerting incidents, I have ever experienced during a stay at a Hilton property.
This is a funky little hotel, rather poor interior from a decoration point of view, very poor lighting, an occasional waft of sewer smell, also in the restaurant, tiny reception, and in my opinion, not a 4 star. Novotel is a 4 star. But it is clean, the staff is nice, the beds comfortable, the food in the restaurant good and it is a 10 min walk to the subway and old mall - which is great as it saves lots of time getting around.
Excellent hotel in a central location. Rooms are spotless, the scent that you can hear on every floor as soon as you exit the elevator is also good. In the room there is a safe, a minibar, and the possibility of having a coffee or tea for free.
It used to be cool but now it's always closed. It was nice before, non-stop reception, valet, airport pick-up if you needed ... Now I don't think who knows what, I found much better alternatives in Bucharest and relatively close to the location
Very warm and friendly hotel with cookies after entering but there is nowhere to smoke, you need to go down all the time. Some balcony would have been great.
Room was good and clean, I booked as Hilton Honor with points online four days before arrival. But since my client had also booked a room, I had to pay twice. Despite being a gold member. Absolute rip off. Check in was early enough. Rooms were then given to others anyway. Hotel was never fully booked during my entire stay. Managers don't even have to answer my email. Had 4 days to answer. Then paid twice when checking out because the manager is not available. Paid twice and given points. An absolute no go! Never Hilton again!
Although this hotel list air conditioning as a room feature and indeed it does have this feature, it is only switched on in summer!
My partner is a Hilton Gold and we just checked in to find the room temperature at 29c and you can't adjust it!!! Your options are basically open a window, which opens a tiny amount or swelter.
It was so bad we checked out within 20 minutes of arriving and we are now at an alternative Hilton property with functioning a/c. The staff were very helpful and apologetic but it's not acceptable to expect guests to endure room temperatures of 29c in a 4* Hilton property.
Excellent location, very clean and polished, rich breakfast and clean dining room, very nice staff that helps in everything that needs a great experience, recommended
I really like the friendliness of the staff at this hotel. Very nice rooms, sometimes invaded by the smell of food! I love breakfast, you have to try the mushrooms. Best seasoning I've ever tasted in my life! Friendly and helpful people. Worth it! I forgot already, it tastes so good when you check in with a wonderful warm cookie.
