Red Ventures is a great place to start or continue your career. They have a fast paced, open environment with a lot of autonomy, so your experience there will truly be what you make of it. The company has grown tremendously over the past few years and seems set to continue 25%+ annual growth moving forward.

After working here over two years previously, I can tell you, if the thought of being on the phone all day long speaking to angry customers seems appealing to you, then this job is made for you. There is a lot of great perks working here and the money has the (potential) to be great, however for me personally the perks didn't outweigh the actual job itself. I wish I would've been more informed when choosing to work here instead of just seeing all the 'shiny'things. For some people this is a dream job, however, for myself, it wasn't even close.

I went there for a job interview. Beautiful campus. Everyone is nice and professional. I didn't get the job but that's okay, that type of sales is not for me but I still think it a good company to work for.

I was scheduled to interview at 12:30 with their hiring coordinator. I waited with my phone and never received a call. I gave them time and still no call. I then checked my email and saw a message from them. I called the number in the email because it said to call as soon as possible but I kept getting technical difficulties on their end. I finally got through and I was told that because I didn't answer their call (which I never received) or answered their email promptly then I was removed as a candidate for a job interview. None of this was my fault but I was removed as a candidate and told I could reapply in 3 months. I've never been treated like this in an interview.

I started at RV right out of college and through being in different positions during my 2 1/2 years, I have learned many different skill sets that I know will be transferable as I continue to grow my career either at RV or with another company in the future.

I've been with RV for over a year now, and honestly it is one of the best places I've ever worked. The environment is competitive and fast paced. The only constant thing at RV is changed. Only way to do well here is simple, lean into the change. Once you embrace the change and go with it, you will go far in this company.

Take the chance and try sales. You get all the training you need, you meet amazing people, you get multiple opportunities to succeed and move up. Full time with lots of on-site amenities. Best decision I after wasting 10 years in the food service/customer service industry.

An amazing place to work. It's a place where the executives sit with the employees and it shows in our culture. We pivot faster than a company our size usually does. Ideas get put into motion quickly. We have subsidized restaurants (that's plural), juice bars and coffee spots. There are free gyms, a basketball court, a bowling alley and much more. Very privileged to say I work at RV and hope it's for a long time to come.

Before I accepted my job here, I saw plenty of horror stories but went against my better judgment and accepted the position anyway. Spent over a year working here in IT, most of the time working 50-60 hour weeks with little to no appreciation for work. Work/Life Balance is non existent. Prepare to work long hours on site as well as from home to avoid mistreatment. Extremely thankless job. People seem happy in the engineering realm but sales/sales support is lacking, especially in management. Cut throat and ego driven to say the least. I will say it is good learning experience for entry level personnel but if you have any kind of experience or value to contribute, you'll get steamrolled. Very disorganized & immature company. False promises and carrot dangling, galore!

Red Ventures is a great place if you enjoy a fast-paced, results-oriented culture that rewards hard workers and people seeking to improve each day. Certainly not for everyone, but fantastic if you enjoy that type of environment.

Great socially conscious company. The work is rewarding, the people are awesome and - as our CEO puts it - we try to leave the woodpile bigger than we found it. I've been here a bit more than 5 years now and can't imagine working anywhere else.

I have worked a RV. Yes....! It was a great place to work. The culture a red Ventures was unique. At the beginning of 2018 they changed the compensation plan for every month and continued doing so. Since then the environment is hostile. I will say based on my own experience that I couldn't work there and left without notice. First time in my life that I leave a place of work under this circumstances. I couldn't resist more humiliation at that place. Now there is a new culture humiliation and threat...!

Walked in with all the best intentions of ignoring all the horror stories I've heard of this place. Sure It looks pretty, campus like, and sounds even better when you read all about it online, But those horror stories turned out to be true, but hey don't trust me, just take a look at the turnover rate. My interview for sales was pointless, it was like they just found generic interview questions off the internet to ask and my interviewer was cocky and arrogant from the start. But me being the upfront and observant person that I am, you can tell that they were just hiring people in mass with very little to no training involved and whomever stayed then yay, in other words, they are throwing spaghetti at a wall to see who sticks. Why you might ask? because they are focused on expanding, not hiring quality employees, and as long as you work for a few days or weeks they have all the value they need out of you. So I politely declined their offer and left. If you have a college degree, any certification, has a decent work background history, or just for those who are looking to improve and grow into something more for future job stability. I urge you to value your self worth, and PLEASE ignore this place. Keep job hunting (you are definitely over qualified.) If you have to just work here for a few months and jump ship the moment you find different job like most people do, then that works as well. (Oh and By the way don't worry if you are applying while doing drugs, because if you fail the drug test they will just not mention it and still let you work there, I know 3 people that did just that) If I can just save 1 person from wasting there time, this post was worth it. Good Luck and Good Job Hunting!

Been working at Red Ventures for 4 yrs. It has been the best decision for me. It's truely one the most coolest places to work. Culture is built on "Work Hard, Play Hard", our leaders allow us to have fun, because they want us to enjoy coming to work. And Amazing pay and incentives. It is work. .. so have to have determination and get dialed into the proven sales process. At least be ready to learn to sell and money driven. Opportunity to Sell almost ANYTHING. With All the tools provided. Sales is not for everyone. The coffee is for the sellers.

Have to rate this place a 1 for wasting my time. Internet claims this is the best place to work in Charlotte and they claim they are constantly growing, but you couldn t find a place for a highly qualified candidate with loads a sales experience? They asked me why I would want entry but of course if I m new to the area and to a big company I would want to get my foot in the door... long story short I received an email 2 days later about it being competitive and that I wasn t chosen.. I didn t expected to drive 2 hours to an entry position that I was OVERQUALIFIED for and NOT GET THE POSITION! DO NOT RECOMMEND TO PEOPLE THAT ACTUALLY HAVE EXPERIENCE! HOW CAN ONE WITH EXPERIENCE NOT BE CHOSEN? INTERVIEW WAS BASIC AND BROKE DOWN THE SIMPLE CALL PROCESS AND YOU READ A SCRIPT. VERY MISLEADING ! I FOLLOWED UP WITH AN EMAIL AND CALLS, BUT NEVER GOT A RESPONSE! IF YOU THINK THIS IS A PLACE TO GO, THEN NO! DESPITE OF ALL THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND LATE WORKING HOURS I STILL HELD MY PRIDE AND APPLIED, BUT I WILL BE TELLING EVERYONE MY EXPERIENCE! THEY WASTED MY TIME!

The 7 years I've spent at RV have been the most rich and rewarding experiences of my professional life. I started as a sales professional, and then moved into over 8 different positions. If you're positive, consistent, and take advantage of every opportunity that you're given, you're going to have an amazing journey here. This truly is the best place to work in NC.

Red Ventures is an amazing company and an excellent place to work. In the last 12 years of working here, I've had countless roles and incredible opportunities. It's a lot of fun being apart of a growing company and by far our biggest asset is our people. Everyday brings new challenges, which keeps things extremely interesting, fun and fresh.

Worked there for 3 years and excelled. My only regret was not leaving sooner. There are so many more companies in charlotte with better work culture, more transparent pay, better management and real opportunities to grow your career. No reason for anyone to settle for RV

I'm a few weeks in and I absolutely love it. Everyone I work with are extremely nice and willing to help me out anyway that they can. I feel like I can actually contribute, manage myself and my projects without feeling someone breathing down my neck. My director and VP are all super supportive about making my experience at RV whatever I want it to be. I'm excited to begin this journey!

I worked for red ventures in the Lexington branch. When I first got the job here I thought it was gonna be great. They offered bonus, good pay, and promised opportunities. The first few weeks ok and I quickly became a top seller. Only to find out that all I was working for was nothing. They decided that opening a Jamaica branch and paying the staff less would be a great way to shut down 2 other companies putting over hundreds of people without jobs just so that they could save money. They promised to keep us open till the end of oct with all the same benefits and calls. But sadly they sent us the worse calls with no sell opportunity and informed the team leads to tell us it was all lies. They fired over a hundred people and took their money too. This is by far the worse place you can work. They distort families and take your money but to tell you you just gotta sell one more .my boss literally shopped on Amazon and was on Facebook all day long than yell at you for being on your phone or . But hey if I was sleeping with the boss I'd get the perks too. This job was a joke.

Disorganized and snooty. I know several extremely qualified people who applied here and heard nothing. They checked on their applications and they wouldn't even email them back. Months later RV called them and they had nearly forgotten they applied as they moved on with their lives. They don't call back in a reasonable timeframe, check their voicemail or return emails. Dont waste your time.

Pros: Smart, hard-working people.

Pros: Smart, hard-working people.
Cons: Several. The main being a toxic work culture that starts from the senior level and up. There is a constant demand for more from the employees. Really good work is never enough. From the RV leadership perspective, an employee can always be doing better and more. This juicing everything out of employees causes extreme stress. If you voice your stress to higher levels, you re met with statements such as I understand but you re just going to have to grind it out . The burnout is unreal and well known inside RV s walls. Please don t believe any social media post from RV regarding their care of their employees mental health. It s simply not true.

Don't let the bells and whistles of this place lure you in. You are and always will be an expendable number to them. No matter what role you're in and the output you provide; it's never enough. They'll fire a newly hired sales pro just as fast as a seasoned sales director and not think twice about it.

Opportunities, advancements, and promotions are not based on merit, assume no one is on your side, don't confide in anyone because it will be misconstrued and used against you later, and be prepared to hate your life.

Leadership is club that if you're lucky enough to get in, you'd better go with the program. No innovation or dissenting opinions. Leadership is mostly home grown in house so no real grasp of how things could improve other than sticking with past procedures.

Unnecessary cut throat corporate structure that operates with secrecy, intimidation, and putting others down in order to get ahead. Charlotte is full of better companies with a much better work environment. Look elsewhere.
