Went in for a Mother's Day dinner and could not be more disappointed and angry. Party of 10 (11 if you count the baby) with a reservation at 5. Best part of the meal was that we were seated immediately. We had problems from get-go with the food. Onion strings were served cold, food was not served together but as it was cooked, 4 of the meals were served MORE THAN HALF AN HOUR after the first meal was set down. One of the salmon dinners was so over cooked that it was crunchy, the burger was so dry and over cooked that it crumbled apart as it was being eaten... Only 2 people out of 10 thought their food was satisfactory. The manager came over after we finally got the last of the food served and told us that our steaks, salmon and burger would be comped. Two people then tried to order dessert, we only got one. And at the end of it all? $10 was taken off of each check and the salmon was comped. Not the awful burger, not the steaks that arrived an hour and a half after we did. We then asked the manager back over and she ARGUED with us that $30 and the cost of the salmon dinner that wasn't even eaten was fair. She got defensive over food that was so terrible that it wasn't eaten! Clearly does not care about the customer at all. My family and I will NOT be going back and I highly recommend everyone else to stear clear too. Over $300 checks and she's upset that we're asking for more compensation? Please. If your steaks cost $35 a piece, I expect an awesome steak in a reasonable amount of time. They were not especially good and sure as heck not within a reasonable time period. I expect more than $10 off the check. Awful experience. Recommending everyone I know to stay out of this establishment.

The service was fast and very pleasant our server Angel was amazing. The food was excellent quality and very very tasty. My favorite steak house used to be Texas road house and while they still have good food Reds definitely has them beat by a long shot. If you are traveling through Carson city you should come check them out.

Had a horrible experience. Waiter was annoying and covered my arm in dressing. Ribs where without any flavor. The beef brisket was nothing but fat. Corn bread was tasteless and overly dry. Gave 2 stars only cause the cajun sausage was decent. Will not be going back ever.

We have been coming to Red's off and on for many years. We usually eat on the non bar side. The food is plentiful, the decor fun, the staff is usually friendly and the beer menu extensive. The reason for a 3 star review is with all of the good, it is a bit pricey for what you get. An example is the steak my wife had was a bit tough. She got the ribeye and it was overcooked. The ribs I ordered had a lot of fat, which sometimes happens, but there was almost no smoke flavor to it. If the quantity was reduced and the quality increased it would be a 4 star place. Still it is a known entity in our area and we will keep coming back.

Great place & GENEROUS portion sizes! Stopped for dinner after a long day of hiking & lifting furniture. This is quite the large restaurant but I understand it s actually a restaurant & sports bar combination. The decor is on point. The noise level was quite acceptable given how large the place is. The food was served well & WOW do you get your money s worth. It s slightly more pricey than some of the chain restaurants but you won t get as much food at those places as you will here. Plus, the quality of the food & taste was great . And the beers...they have a great lineup of craft beer here & beer bottles are part of the decor. Looks like they have one of those beer programs like Old Chicago or Flying Saucer. From what I hear this place is very popular & can get very busy but it looks like they are up to the task of serving all patrons. I would DEFINITELY recommend this place & frequent it if I lived here.

I Always stop here on my way thru Carson City, they serve top quality food in a friendly atmosphere. Also love to admire the awsome collection of wall art that must have taken years to collect.

It's a very cozy place with nice employees!! We had a very lovely date night - highly recommended!! We will be returning!!

Used to love this place, still has a great atmosphere. My last two visits the food was awful and the service was poor. If this had not happened twice within a month I would have just chalked it up to a bad night. But for what we paid I expect better. This used to be a great place.

We were seated quickly, but from there it was mostly downhill. The coffee that my friend ordered was cold when it got to the table. It then took about 20 minutes for the waitress to take our order. After that it took almost an hour and a half for the food to come. We had 3 orders of salmon and 1 steak salad. During our wait, we saw the waitress maybe 3 times. When our food finally got there, it was very good. That's the main reason for the two stars. In summary, the food was good, but the service was terrible. I definitely wouldn't recommend going on a Friday or Saturday night.

The Carson City version of Reno's Little Waldorf, Red's is quite cavernous with a more "country" feel to it. Food is excellent here!

The food is very good. The wait staff is more than helpful. Great place to take your family and friends.

We'd been to Red's a few times now, it has always been good and service was always top notch but last night it was below par, I ordered the Wood Fired Salmon with the garlic mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli, the salmon was tasty but a bit overdone, the"garlic potatoes" tasted liked instant out of a box no garlic in sight, the broccoli was nice and fresh, my husband's pizza was very good, and the kids meal chicken fingers and hamburger was good but they ordered mashed potatoes also and it was the same, tasted like box potatoes, my daughter ordered the Iron Steak which was good but hard to cut, she said it tasted fine. The service was ok but we felt she was a little rushed and distracted, they had a house magician who did card tricks at the table, he was really good!
Overall it was ok but its been better!

The food was awesome, service was great and the atmosphere is pretty cool! We took family there who were in from out if town. We look forward to returning.

Found them as a dog-friendly restaurant listing, but they only allow service dogs. Shouldn't be on a dog friendly list.

1st visit and extremely satisfied with The service and Decor. The wings were A+ all the way. the selection of draft's on tap. Definetly coming back

Very busy and noisy...But it was Friday night! While not the place for quiet conservation, Red's is a great place to celebrate with friends. Unique decor and a very nice bar. Definately worth a visit if you're in Carson City. Food was great, but somewhat high priced.

Amazing food. Ribs were fall off the bone. Steaks to die for. Brisket full of flavor and super tender. The cooked carrots were perfect. Steak fries crispy and perfect flavor. Deff visit again. Oh the peach cobbler and ice cream perfect blend of hot and cold

A little pricy. But well worth it. The food was top notch in price and flavor.

I don't know about the bbq but don't order steak.
Note to restaurant if you change steakhouse prices give steakhouse quality.

Huge chicken wings, great selection of beer and I see something new every time I look at the decorations.

Not a terrible place. Tons a cool stuff to look at. The food is really good. I ve had better bbq, but for the price and with the portions it is totally worth it. Not to mention there isn t many better places in Carson city

For the ultimate in lousy food and service try Reds. The only thing that keeps them in business is the decor. That gets old fast. I gave them the benefit of a doubt on several occasions. Will not ever return.

Been eating here since shortly after they first opened. A but pricey but a great overall menu, service, and environment. In midtown, I've never been disappointed.

Mediocre corned beef and cabbage. Mustard overpowered the dish, and the veggies were soggy.

A little pricey but the amthosphere is great. Can you believe it is also a museum.

Early Saturday evening, they were out of pulled pork. Waitress assured us the beef brisket was the same thing. Don't expect traditional BBQ brisket, was minced up with large fat chunks, so much wet red sauce caused bun to fall apart from wetness.

The mussel beach special was really good. The cause with the pico really added flavor.

Beef brisket was tender and smokey. Ribs were tuff.

Always great to stop in for dinner! Food is good and the rest of the restaurant is wonderful. Staff is wonderful! Food could use some updates.
