An awesome place to eat

Drinks are AMAZING as was the flat bread! Unfortunately the main dish came out luke warm. Was very disappointed. Sent the fries back too as they were cold only for them to come back luke warm. Another plus is the atmosphere, great staff and management.

Focus on the Mexican elements of the menu and you'll love your meal. Great atmosphere. Burgers, chili, buffalo chicken were mediocre but tacos we're delicious

While the atmosphere at Red's Old 395 Grill was pleasant, and the ambience was great. A lot of "old time" and antique visual effects throughout. Thus the need to give 1 star. The meal I chose was not all that great. Dry ribs, rubber chicken, dry cornbread and not to mention the food was not hot. The BBQ sauce taste like it came out can, with a huge resemblance of tomatoes sauce. I might be inclined to try again some day, but I doubt it.

The gold standard in Carson City for food and drinks and outdoor seating, etc. So much to see on the inside and great pin up girl t-shirts.

Nice atmosphere. We went with the whole family, including two under age 3.

What a gem. Found this place on our first foray into Carson City & we couldn't have been more pleased. We were seated immediately & ordered the Bar-B-Que Deuce Coupe with brisket & 1/2 pack Louisana ribs - simply delicious + coleslaw, beans & shoestring friend onion strips. Also, had the scrumptous cornbread with honey butter. We also had the Cajun Chicken Pasta which was really good. Do try the Homemade Historic Fry Bread (made from scratch) as an appetizer. The decor is so unbelievably eclectic as are menu selections.What really made the visit top notch was the warm & welcoming service & by our waitress Dezurae, - we will always ask for only her when we return. Next time, we will definitely leave room for dessert too!

I think its one of our finest yet a most interesting restaurants in Carson City.

As always, incredible food, incredible service! I had the 22 ounce chicken which fell off the bone moist. My wife had the tuna melt that was delicious! If you're in Carson eat at Reds ! I make excuses to go to Carson City so I can dine at Reds !

Restaurant food. This particular one is always a pleasant experience for us.

They seem to be able to keep a staff working here, no one leaving or getting fired. We get the same servers all the time. They are quick, punctual, and polite.

The food is as expected when you go to the lower end restaurant chains. Good but not magnificent. Its worth the money and tastes great!

Why go to Reno when you can eat here? It might not be healthy but you will like the food. Only 2000 beers to choose from. Sad.

Not exactly what I was looking for. But the food was good.

Ate here for my birthday a couple months ago and again in March with family. Great food both times and the server was nice enough to rush our drink and appetizer order for us since it was just a couple min to the cut off for happy hour.

Eclectic decor. This place has some good fish and chips for kids. There is outdoor seating available. I am curious how do they clean the place when they have to. The burgers and chicken wings are good too.

Reds is always busy, and they can get you out in 45 minutes if you are pressed for time. I enjoy their salads, had the Santa Fe chicken this time. Great burgers too. The Thursday taco special was just ok according to the person who ordered.
Really cool decor and friendly service make this a worthwhile stop when in Carson City.

We've been there in may this year and it was very full. Despite this, we did not have to wait very long until we've got a table. The whole athmosphere in that Restaurant was very interesting with lots of stuff to look at, like in a museum. The waitresses were very nice and the Food came in a very appropriate time. 2 of us ordered a big mixed plate with sausages, one had chicken and one had a burger. Everything was absolutly delicious. We took some of the food with us to the hotel to eat it the next day and even then cold, it was still good.

Excellent BBQ, fun atmosphere, full bar, good prices, large servings. You can't go wrong here.

1/2 chicken was dry. Not sure how that happens in a smoker. Caesar salad was good though.

I can here a year ago and had the same awesome waitress when I came into town from Tennessee. She always takes good care of me and my service dog Diesel. As you can tell from the pictures the food is delicious and why I keep coming back.

What an amazing restaurant! We ended up in Carson City by accident. And by sheer luck we found Old Red's. I thought that we should give it a try and hope for the best. Wow! We made the best decision that day and plan on going back soon.....all the way from Roseville, CA!
I ordered the Assembley Club sandwich. It was wonderful. Beautifully prepared, great flavor and huge portions! The steak fries were not the usual kind. These had some seasoning on them that I'm sure is proprietary and definitely not overdone. The coleslaw that I ordered was outstanding. The best I have ever had including my mother's! And that's saying something.
My sweetie ordered the Brisket plate. It came with coleslaw, cornbread, beans and little crispy onions. The brisket was perfectly cooked and so tender that he didn't need a knife. It tasted great and again, huge portions.
The atmosphere is really fun with a cool vibe. Red's offers a large selection of beers and margaritas seem to be a signature drink. Our waitress was good.....very friendly.
As I said in the beginning, we will be going back to Red's soon I've got to have more coleslaw!!

The beer selection is pretty phenomenal. You can get a punch card to keep track of the different kinds they have (100+). Food is 4 out of 5, but that shouldn't deter anyone from stopping in.

Fun nostalgic place to eat. Lots of western and early industrial history on the walls and rafters. Wide range of food from tasty BBQ to pizza to burgers. 101 beers to choose from and a full bar. Red's is family friendly with seating on the patio, restaurant and self seating in the lounge. The BBQ was tasty and filling with plenty left over for another meal. Well worth the visit and looking forward to my next (I saw someone's double pork chop order and was instantly jealous).

It was Ok, my sons pizza was kind of nasty I would avoid that completely but everything else was ok.

Disappointed they only had one style of ribs. Food was good though.

Just OK. Pretty standard menu, ordered the Cobb Salad which was overly heavy on the lettuce and light on everything else including the eggs that looked overdone and old.

I ate there several times when I lived in Carson. Not bad overall but was a little pricey. Service was always good.
