5:30 pm on a Thursday, crazy busy, ridiculously noisy, understaffed, takes forever to get the bartenders attention, walked out after being ignored for 15 minutes. Too bad, when I have been able to eat here the food is good.
Attention with reservation was late, the taste of the food more or less good, good atmosphere, great variety of drinks (bar)

Great place for food and can accommodate a large group. Our usual Carson City stop after a long day of offroading. Make sure to call ahead if your a big group as it is a popular place.
Was looking for good, homemade food. We found it here in Carson City. Nice family atmosphere on one side of the restaurant and a good bar on the other side to balance it out.
If you're hungry and in Carson City this is the place to go.

Great food, friendly staff. I had the smoked prime rib Saturday special. It was wonderful! Garlic mashed potatoes, yummy. Fresh veggies looked perfectly.

I've been going here for so long that one time I had a burger there and got extremely sick. (It was a very good burger tho) I think it might've been undercooked. None the less that won't stop me from giving this place 5 stars

Food was good. Waiting for our food was terrible.
We came in on a Monday around 1 and waited a long time for our food to be delivered to us. We were a party of three ordering a hamburger and 2 salads, and the party of 4 or 5 next to us who came at least 10 minutes after us received their food at least 10 minutes before us.
That kept me from returning again.

Dreadful. The meat was tough and dry. They serve everything with this awful bean concoction: bakedmbeams,limas and black beans all mixed together with some bad sausage sliced in there, God knows why. Please, steer clear. You'd be better off with.a sandwich.from Arby's across.the street and a six.pack.from.7/11.

We have Never had a bad experience here. It is one the best in Carson Valley. Dont expect elegante, but you can Have a lot of fun.
This place had some great food and their wings are amazing it's always nice to come inside and see all the different buggies and old chariots they have hanging from the ceiling. Their food is up to par and there barbecue is proportioned properly.
Say also have a lot of nice handmade furniture that they take care of properly I didn't find any dust on anything in the building and the 20 times I've eaten here.
Was advertised kids eat free. I was charged for my 5 yr old sons meal. Never going back @!
Haven't been to Carson City for over 5 years so was really excited about coming to Red's and certainly still as wonderful as ever!! Such a great & fun place to eat at.
The food is decent here but luckily it isn't too expensive so it is mostly worth it. The menu and decorations though are definitely interesting looking. It feels like you're inside some kind of old weird theme park restaurant meant to make you feel like you're in the wild west.
Juicy burgers that will keep you full for many hours afterwards. The ambiance is very rustic and almost stereotypically Western-style. The outside patio is the cherry on the cake.
We had chicken nachos, awesome, shared by 2, some left over. Service and atmosphere is great.

When we are in Nevada we like to stop at Red's Old 395 Grill. We usually do dinner and it is delicious BBQ style food. The ambiance of the interior is like a step back in time. There is a lot to look at, with added friendly staff, excellent service, and even a house magician. If you like BBQ, you will love Red's.

What an amazing place. There are antiques everywhere from stagecoaches to tools. The service was very good as well as the food. They serve over 100 beers if that is something you are interested in.
Place looks fantastic inside and out and has an amazing beer selection and a kids menu for the little ones.
Great atmosphere, huge menu selection, giant portions enough to split. The memorabilia is so fun to look at. The staff very warm and inviting and food is good.

Nice atmosphere, the service was good. My son's rib eye was tough and not hot enough to melt the butter on top. Same with my corn bread. Blackend chicken pasta was more like tomato soup. The chicken wings were hot but no flavor. The shrimp,brisket and pulled pork seemed to be a hit. I heard great things about 395, just couldn't see it on this visit.
Waitress was polite and ambiance was nice, otherwise food always tastes different to me like chili that tasted old / burnt.
Not sure what time we got there, time to order and eat, but everyone focused on subtly cleaning up to go. Can't blame anyone for that, just an over all rating, maybe other people love the place?

My favorite place in town to go for a burger, and well worth the price. Thematically, it's incredibly interesting to see everything they have inside. The outdoor seating is refreshing, and can be cozy when the fireplace is lit. Don't forget it is outside; colder months won't be as comfortable!

Horrible service will not be going back. We go there specifically because of the fries, the waitress never mentioned to us they were out of fries and were giving us frozen fries from Walmart. Then my husbands sandwich had guacamole on it and he had to return it when he specifically asked for no guacamole then my sandwiches bread was so old and hard that I was squeezing it with my full strength and it wouldn t even crumble. We told the manager and he said ok leave I ll take care of the bill. No I m so sorry no good customer service what so ever will never go back there.
The pulled pork sandwich was amazing! So good, lots of flavor. You get a ton of food though, so I'd definitely suggest plate sharing.
