Wow we have driven past so many times and never stopped. What a mistake that was. The place is a museum and is huge, inside and out. The bar is so rustic and fits the Carson City vibe.
The food... off the chain! The brisket and ribs were delicious with authentic corn bread.
This is a must for all bbq lovers.

Good service during the week expect waiting time during weekends. They offer kids menu and activities (different from just coloring)while waiting food. Kids portions are generous.

Wonderful day car in ambience. For happy hour, both the food and cocktail offerings were wonderful. Beginner we had was really good and the staff was even better. This place is worth coming to.

I went to this restaurant with my family for my first fathers day, I recently had my first child. And the Service was okay, except they sat us in the busiest part of the restaurant for one. And having a new born it was hard being seated there. Then we ordered our drinks and an appetizer and about ten minutes later we ordered our food. Not even kidding our food was out and in front of us in 4 minutes. They had to of cooked it hours ago. The food was utterly disgusting and it's not cheap to eat here keep in mind. We paid over 50 dollars for two people to eat ans it was TERRIBLE . Oh and about half way through our meals we finally got our appetizer. Which was the only thing that was ACTUALLY FRESH!!
It was the worst dining experience I have ever had and i will never go there again!
And don't let these good reviews trick you. The majority of them come from employees or they're family and friends, being said its not accurate information. Of course family and friends will write a good review, the employees asked them too.

I called this afternoon and was told they seat parties up to 5 min before closing at 9. We drove 4 hours from California and arrived at 8:45 only to be told they stopped seating 5 min earlier.

The waiter was very polite thru out the dinner. The atmosphere and decor is historic with the accented whole log building. The food was very good and plentiful. The meats are full flavored from the barbecue and steaks cooked to order -very tender. The prices are moderate but worth it for dining experience.

Good food, great BBQ. Staff was just a bit pressuring with their up-sells but barrably so. Fun and interesting atmosphere.

Worst service, was told artichoke dip was hit or miss when I asked if it was supposed to be soupy. Server never came around for refills, steak wasn't cooked right, waited 15 minutes for a to go box.

I really thought the food was going to be better. It was big, but it was mediocre. I got the pulled pork bbq sandwich. It was way over cooked, to the point of it mushing and tasting grainy texture. The fries where under seasoned. Over all just not impressed.

Love this restaurant. Food is large portions, cocktails are strong and have a huge selection. And the staff and atmosphere is family friendly. Get the brisket , it melts in your mouth

Great place. They have a lot of TVs for sports and a big projector screen. Food is epic! Super clean bathroom. Price for the food is fair. Definitely recommend it especially for ppl from out of town.

Flat Iron steak fell flat was only okay. Not great quality for the price.

Cant tell you about the food. Walked through the doors about 4:30 on a Monday afternoon. Stood next to the counter waiting for one of the three red shirts behind the counter to acknowledge me. I ask if I should seat myself. A lady behind the counter pointed around the corner and said the patio was open. K...I just wanted to be seated and order dinner. Walked around the partition and saw a bunch of bar tables packed with patrons. Didn't want to sit out in the heat. There was a few empty seats along the wall. Went to sit down only told that they were reserved for a party. Decided they didn't care if I walked out...

BBQ was amazing but they do need to work on there flat iron stake. That was pretty bad for being almost $30

We had the fire roasted Hawaiian and sausage pizzas. Hazy iPa and a mammoth double nut brown...YUMMY, great service and nice ambience.

If you're in the area you owe it to yourself to stop in for lunch or dinner. Huge selection of beers, great food, cool environment, and tasty BBQ. You can't go wrong here. I would recommend making a reservation as it gets very busy especially on the weekends.

This place is an old combine museum. They hang from the ceiling. Old ones that I have never seen before. The ribs where great.

Good food, great service. We were hungry after waiting too long at two other joints. Lainey Poo made us comfortable and the wait was only 15 minutes, just as she said.

Nice decor. Great service. The food though wasn't so great to me or my wife. The pickle was dry and wilting and so was the coleslaw and garden salad. Was just expecting more from the rave reviews. It may have just been an off day for them.

Awful, very bland food! How do you screw up nachos?! My daughter ate 2 chips in a heaping pile of yuck! I had fish shrimp tacos that were 2 shrimp in a tortilla on a soft soggy bed of coleslaw, if it can be called coleslaw.

From the time we walked in everybody's was friendly..the food was beyond amazing the bbq beans delish...the strawberry Pina colada was delish can't wait to go back if i could give 10 stars i would...we had an awesome waitress on top of everything else...great restaurant
