Two stars are only for the decent food. Service was terrible. We waited 15 minutes to get acknowledged and get drinks but I had to get up and get the waitress to our table after I watched her serve someone who just came in. Then we waited another hour before we got food and we only got it because I complained to the manager. Surprisingly our food was immediately ready when I complained. Coincidence? Not likely

Never been disappointed in Rex's. Had a great bacon burger today.

Food is good but the seating is very uncomfortable no matter where you sit

If i could give them place 0 starts i would. Im on vac and my brother and parents said it was a good place to eat. We had a party of 8. First it took 45 mins for our food to come when it did come only 4 people got there food. myself wife and kids had to wait another 15 mins before we got our food. Was so bad my brother and mom finished before we got our food. Alls we ordered was mac and cheese, chicken sandwhich and pasta. This was a terriable first impression and would never go back. Didnt even get a explanation or sorry for your wait.

Fun place to eat. The decor keeps you entertained until your food arrives. Good food. Have ordered several different entrees off the menu and have never been disappointed by any of them.

Dirty restrooms. Mediocre food. Salad had a rotten cucumber. I had a scoop of Pico de Gallo on top of my lobster ravioli? Wouldnt take our Visa gift card as payment...."those don't work at restaurants". Won't be back

Fantastic service and place is amazing to see. It's like a museum inside. Huge selection of food. Servings are very large, but outstanding . Delish!

Terrible service. Can't comment on the food since after waiting over 30 minutes our server never once came. Finally left after asking the host and still no one came.

I have been to Red's a few times. I have never been disappointed in the food. This time I got the chicken salad and the dressing was amazing. Wish I could buy a bottle of that

The staff was very accommodating to our party of 25 people. The food was great and the kids enjoyed looking at all the interesting decor.

The waitress was very friendly, the ambiance was good and the "que for two" was excellent! The bread pudding (apple with raspberry sauce) also was very good.

Went for lunch today, didn't seem terribly busy.. We were sat quickly. Ordered 3 appetizers.. they all came out at the same time- our fries were only warm like they had been sitting a for a bit. The toppings on our nachos were cold (beans and cheese), even on the inside of the stack of chips. Our waitress was busy so we told the hostess- about 10 min later we got another order which was a little warmer. The food wasn't as good as previous visits. I have to say I'm a little disappointed.

Very Good que. Not necessarily spectacularly unique, but very good, solid bbq. Great burgers.

The beer selection is fantastic, but the tequila selection is more fantastic.

Service is average. Nothing to drive you away, but they lack the systemology and front management to really shine. I will knock a star off for it, but only one because the food value, atmosphere and selection carry it.

What a wonderful atmosphere! The food is great and the service is fantastic for specially considering how packed this place can get! There are different sections depending on your occasion: family, bar, sports area, outside. I would recommend at least eating here once as it a classic restaurant. As seems to be the competitive trend in Carson lately, the wings are exceptional.

Great atmosphere, interior is filled with antique wagons and old equipment much of which is hanging from the ceiling. Great selection of BBQ, steak, chicken and more. You definitely won't leave this place with the feeling you didn't get enough! The bar side is great for meeting friends and offers an extensive selection of beers. In good weather there is an outside dining area to enjoy as well. If visiting Carson City, definitely worth stopping by for lunch or dinner.

The best chili I ve ever had, and the cup was huge!

The shrimp sandwich was terrible undercut the manager offered to replace it with something else but the cook should have got it right the first time. Even though the manager didn't do anything

Had the BBQ feast for two. It was awesome and more than enough to eat. Took a good size go box home. The waitress was very pleasant and attentive. Our first time there, great atmosphere !

This restaurant is awesome! The decor and the whole vibe is fantastic! I went there with my family. Due to covid we had to sit at two separate tables it it still was a wonderful experience. Outstanding service!! The high rating is for Christina, she was perfect! I loved the decor!!! The nachos were bland, skimpy on toppings almost no beans and the ground beef wasn't seasoned at all!! The popcorn shrimp was good!

Really good food and decor...service was great as well

Soup was good, tuna melt was mediocre, staff not very attentive. I had asked for a clean knife since the one in the napkin had dried food on it. Had to asked another server. Also my server never came back to pick up my money.

Plenty of beers and a variety of food. Try the wings, they are full size. Staff is friendly indoor and outdoor seating available. Defiently worth a stop when passing through.

Macaroni and Cheese is on the kids menu. Do yourself a favor and grab it as a side. The burger was solid and the atmosphere is great. I will 100% be torn between the brisket and pizza next visit.

Great atmosphere for families, meetings, with friendly staff.

Lot of empty yet dressed tables when we arrived. 3-4 employees standing and giggling at register area. Hmmmm . 10 minute wait, then guided by hostess past empty table after empty table, with a few scattered patrons, we (3 in my party) were seated. As far back left as you can get. Nice table, clean, friendly waiter Alfredo. We quickly ordered our drinks after hearing it was happy hour. Neither of our drinks made the happy hour menu. Miller lite, bottle and Pinot Grigio. Hmmmm.
We ordered onion strings for appetizer. They arrived pretty fast. Extra plates and we dug in. Only to find the "onions" were cold, waxy and flat out disappointing. Hmmmmmm. Alfredo took our order for sweet potato fries and ant the onions back. Hot and tasty the pototoes arrived to us.
My husband ordered a flat iron dinner. Warm meal is a stretch. Steak was medium. Ordered medium rare. I ordered the Duce. Again, nothing hot about the food. Ribs were tough but tasty. Horrid cold onions on plate again, yet sausages were tasty. Cornbread was in middle of plate. Odd place to butter and enjoy. Hmmmm. Granddaughter ordered mac and cheese. Green olive halves and a leaf of kale made a debut on the mac and cheese. I think it was an attempt at humor off the kids menu. But green olives and kale that covered to dish? Hmmmmmm.
Finally, our 6 year old daughter was given a full view of a naked woman sprawled on a couch portrait. I too was offended that Reds so flippantly believes we consumers want to see naked people while dining. I truly believe a vintage portrait tastefully dressed would be appropriate. Your photo belongs in a saloon.
Upon leaving, I left a comment card for Alfredo's sake. HE truly waited our table professionally. Hence the 2 stars given.
As we made our way to the front to leave, 2 girl employees giggling preoccupied at counter, I waiting to be acknowledged for where to leave my comments.
I'm sad to say, this was our first and last visit to Red's 395. Carson City, NV.

The atmosphere was fun. Food was great. The spinach artichoke dip and handmade chips were amazing!

Oh my God if you haven't been there you have to try this place. You will lo e the place the people and the food! I had the Flat iron steak. YUM! One of the tenderest cuts of meat i ever eaten and the flovar with the sause is amazing. BE HUNGRY!

I tryed a big platter a chicken and all kinds of BBQ meats that was to die for .if you get a chance please go yummy for the tummy

Excellent, awesome and good food, service was more than normal our server went above and beyond. It would take one several visits to see all there is to view. Owners must have agonized over what to include or leave out, not to mention how long it took to collect it all. We will return!

I was told about this place and everything that was said was correct, the best BBQ I have had in a long time, please if you are in the area check them out.

Very good food, only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is the prices are just a little high for lunch and my experience has not been consistent in regards to the food. I have never had a really bad meal but I have had the steak sandwich many times and sometimes it's better than others is all. Overall I do really like red's and I am definitely a loyal customer here.
