Fun setting. Food was average. Had the Cheeseburger and sweet potato fries. Regular steak fries are better.

The place was very clean. Our waiter was very nice. Our food all came together. We left a good tip. It was so good as usual. My husband loves their burgers and I love the pizza.
Red's Old 395 Grill has great food and a great atmosphere. This was our 2nd time here and we still love it.
A very good western style restaurant. Excellent food, friendly service and a large selection in the barbecue
Excellent beer and food selection. Always expect mediocre service at best. Best chicken wings in northern Nevada
Waitress was poor at best, restrooms were terrible, dirty. Food was pricey and not great.
Love this place! We always get their dry bread with parmesan and ranch to start. My two favorite meals are the roasted steak salad and the bacon burger with blue cheese instead of cheddar. Chocolate espresso martini to drink. YUM!
Best shrimp po boy I've ever had. Lots of beers on tap. Great service too!
Love the atmosphere here. The food is pretty good overall. I had hot wings, my daughter had fish and chips, and my mother had a veggie pizza unfortunately the squash on it was raw and the tomatoes gave it a funky sour taste but pizza's dough sauce and cheese were good
Try the Duece - plenty for two. Brisket was wonderful. Loved the chili. Side salad a little wilted. Service as good.
Great place for BBQ and beers! Food was amazing and the decor is awesome.
My wife and I and and 3 grandchildren passed thru last week, July 2, 2019, on our way to Bend , Or. We asked the desk at our hotel for a place where we could get a good meal. She whole heartedly recommended this place. We could not have been more disappointed. The 3 grandsons and I had ribs; they were hard and not even close to tender; like they had been cooked earlier in the day and just reheated with BBQ sauce added. The service was mediocre at best, she dropped off my check and did not bother to pick up a single dirty dish. With 5 of us in a booth and dirty dishes everywhere it was a bit frustrating. We will be back to Carson City as we loved the town but we will not be back to Red's 395 and would not recommend it to others. Maybe we just got them on a bad night or maybe it was because we were not locals; either way 1 star for us!
I love this place! Wonderful home made pazole, great music, nice patio, and sports! Consistently awesome. So glad we found it!
Great brisket grilled cheese and a huge selection of beers.
The staff is awesome. I was there on a busy Friday night and they were handling the crowd pretty well. I only gave 3 stars because I ordered the "petite" 10 oz. Rib eye steak rare to medium rare and the ultra thin "ribeye" came out ultra done. I had to saw away at it with their steak knife for awhile. The steak fries are battered but ok. Veggies were a little underdone but ok. They seem to be crowded, but not sure why?
Great food, big portions at very reasonable prices. Plenty of food options and a good beer selection on tap.
Would definitely go back!
Used to be my favorite restaurant in town. On Saturday nights, they have the best prime rib in Carson City, and the best wings every day. (full disclosure: my siblings and I all worked there for a while)
Fun place to come with a group. Vibe is lively. Good beer. Good food. Solid rib eye. Really liked the potatoes au gratin in the taco shell. Peach cobbler -- delicious!
Reds old 395 Grill is a neat place to go and have something to eat and drink. Filled with lots of old memorable. They offer daily specials. I had the sirloin steak sandwich and sweet potato fries. Very good prices are not to bad either. There is a lot to see in there. This is a good old fashioned restaurant for family and friends. Give it a try you won't regret it. Good food and drink and great prices.
Great food great friendly people you want some good barbecue check it out your love it beers great to lot of variety....
Great place gets crowded foods good for the most part the staff was very friendly
I enjoyed it . It was our first experience with the restaurant the people were very nice and the food and atmosphere was wonderful we will come back again
Lots of beers and great food. Kids menu steak 4.99. You will be stuffed!!!
Shepherd is amazing. Loved him. $1 ribs on monday is also pretty cool considering the normal price of a rack. Huge and pretty great selection of beer on tap and TVs to watch games.
Was a very nice experience, service was spot-on and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was very interesting lots of things to look at and enjoy.
Love this place. My favorite place to eat in Carson. Always great service and amazing food. The steak salad is the best.
Nice place, set up with alot old time memorabilia. Good food 90 percent of the time, brisket, ribs, chicken always delicouse.
Great food, good service, comfortable atmosphere, great selection of tap beer, a bit pricey but not outlandish.
We spent A LOT of money here. I got the Cobb salad, the salad was brown and old, the avocado was brown and old, the eggs were green in the yolk instead of yellow. The tilapia my husband got was overcooked and nasty, my brothers burger was nasty, the only thing that was decent was my son's chicken tenders. And for purchasing 2 alcoholic drinks that were DISGUSTING FOR $16 is ridiculous. I took one sip of my drink and couldn't drink any more. I put it at the end of our table and the lady walked past us over 5 times before even ASKING if I wanted a different drink. And still CHARGED ME FOR IT. RUDE STAFF, FOR CUSTOMERS PAYING OVER $100 at your restaurant you'd think you'd treat them better.
Sunday and Monday special or muscles and they were delicious today :-) the seared salmon was amazing as well!!!
Our server Ace was personable and learned about his store. Service was pleasent, until I didn't get my meal. A young lady approached our table and auctioned off food, that as presented did not belong at our table. After offering it to another table she came back to us and we asked if it was something we had. ordered. She served it and said I will be right back with your BLT, not what I had ordered, we said no it's another sandwich. Without out a doubt a good amount of time went by before I had to flag down a random server and ask if I could get my lunch. Ace showed up with my lunch and a bit of a ride. I can only do so much, before I could even say a word. I was in the Hospitality Business my entire Career. Sad ending to our outing. Take some personal responsibility.
We love their food, every time we do the VC loop, we wait and get food at reds, best food in Nevada
Their happy hour is awesome and their servers are friendly.
Red's never lets you down. Good food, great portions and awesome selection of beer.
Reds is a staple. Go with a friend and get a Cue for 2, and try and get your name on the wall after drinking their 101 beers.
The service was great, and the bbq was good, anything else was subpar. Beware of the beer prices!!!! They are not listed on the menu, and for a good reason. A small beer is $6!!
It's a good place for a quick lunch. Burgers are always great.
Lots of atmosphere and parking is usually available. Food is good, but on the higher price end. Stick to basics on menu for best results.
The eatery is tucked away at the back of a parking lot for two small office buildings, but it's definitely worth sweeping by the buildings and parking spaces to the back of the lot. Decorated with wagons and steam engines from the 19th century, old advertising signs, state flags flying from the ceiling and beer bottle displays, the restaurant features a likewise eclectic menu ranging from sandwiches, barbecued meats and pizza, as well as dozens of beers, ciders, sodas and other beverages. Prices are quite reasonable and the service is attentive. Visit Red's before touring the State Capitol and State Museum just up N. Carson Street.
Great service and food. Make a reservation on the weekend, they are busy!
I like the quirky atmosphere! The food is really good and they have nice happy hour deals. You can also get a lot of money off your drinks if you have a movie ticket from the Galaxy Fandango! The staff is always friendly, but service can be slow.
This is a local Carson City favorite sports bar cava restaurant and private banquet room. They akso have patio dining. One of their signature features is over 50 draft beers. In the sports bar area there are four large screen televisions tune to sports events of the moment. In the restaurant the vibe is much different. And if you are looking for a private banquet area there is is large with on menu dining or special service. Their prices are moderate and their staff are friendly and helpful. I recommend it.
There ribeye was ok the veggies were out of a bag an steamed [ aka trash]
And there peach cobbler is trash i only ate the ice
cream
Service was great.keep smiling Laney. The only complaint I have is the side of corn with my entree was inedible very salty. Otherwise very good.
Thanks
They have some delicious food and beer. My last experience wasn't that great. It was lunch, and it took them about 45 minutes to serve lunch for four after ordering. That doesn't include any other time.
Love this place. Great decor, huge food selection and pretty good quality. Lots of plates can be split. Nice vibe, friendly service... It's a great place for dinner if you are visiting from out of town... Even if you're staying in South Lake Tahoe it's worth the trip down the mountain
Red's has a lot of character, the service was quick, friendly and our server even identified the song that was playing for us.
Great place, friendly personnel and good atmosphere
Perhaps better on a weekday? Waited 20 minutes to be seated for our party of four, which was fine. But the. Waited an additional 20 even be greeted by our server, which never happened. Gave up and left.
Huge portions, good food, usually great service. Check out the atmosphere, it will surprise you.
Delicious ribs, generous portions. I was with a large party, seated across various tables. The service was very slow; everyone at a table was not served at the same time.
Oh boy! Where does one start? Great decor, the brisket was very tender and great flavor, beans, corn bread and coleslaw very good. The service was spot on!
I have eaten here in 3 occasions and all 3 times, Their "bbq" really leaves a lot to be desired. One of the manager is also quite rude. They do have a lot of great beers on tap though.
Good food, good service. Cool decor. They also had a magician going around tables. Hes got some legit card tricks..
A great pub and restaurant, and they have 100 beers on tap. Need I say more? The only downside is that their service is a bit sluggish during the lunch hour, so if you're on a one-hour lunch break, this may be a better spot for dinner or drinks after work instead. For dinner, though, this place is one of the better options in town for basic pub fare, second to the Fox.
O my god, this place is the bomb. Just the decor alone will take you back in time. Once you peel your away for it the choice of food is everything you could every imagine and really good. There is something for everyone. Comfort food to healthy dishes. You owe it to yourself to visit and you won't be disappointed.
Decent! Food portions are huge, decor is fun and funky, and the patio is legit. Service has been a little lack-luster the last few times I visited, and the food is decent but not stellar.
