Ehh. I went there for a end of year party with my work. About 30 ppl total. We only got to choose from about 4 items from the menu. I guess when they do big groups that's how it is. Idk. I know this place is good, but it just sucked that we couldn't order from the regular menu.

Food was great however service was slow. We waited almost an hour to get our check

I'm traveling for work and found Reds across the street from my hotel. The hostess was friendly and got me to a table. Reds has a good vibe with is decor and really helpful staff. I had a pizza and beer, which is always a good combo and I was not disappointed. Would definitely come back if I'm in Carson City.

Jiffy burger is unique and tasty! Loved the special burger they made for me! Blue cheese, and Frank's Red Hot. Great server.

Great service in the bar area. The brisket and chicken are nice and tender. Great pizza. Ribs tend to be a little dry but add their bbq sauce and it helps.

Good food lots to eat food come lol, lots to look at the serving staff was very friendly will return.

Worst experience i have had in forever. I will never eat there again. Not only was the food horrible but the server Muffin was rude and condescending. If i could give it less then 1 star i would.

I had the Ahi Tacos and they were very good. I would like to see a bit more fish in the taco, especially for the price.

Excellent BBQ joint. We had the Q-for-2. The sides of Cole slaw and beans were very good. The BBQ sauce , excellent, a little sweet and tangy. The meats were smoked/grilled to fall off the bone statis. I am a firm believer in the statement that if the meat falls off the bone, then it is over cooked. However some people love it that way. So, my personal opinion aside, the meats are very tasty.

This place is awsom I will definitely eat her again. also my family is very picky they all loved it. I would recommend to anyone that's looking for great food

I was attracted to this place because I previously had lunch in Reno at a restaurant operated by the same owners, and it was pretty good... especially the eye-poppin' gorgeous bar tender.

However, I don t see how this place in Carson City stays in business! I was seated in one of the few spots with enough light to read the menu. A menu was presented and a drink order taken. When server returned, I ordered the BBQ brisket, sauce on the side. (Still no drink.). After a while, the food arrived but no utensils to eat it with. Alas, there was no sauce on the side. All I could do was sit and let the meal cool to room temperature. After a while, the drink arrived; I requested utensils from the drink server. He apologized and promptly brought them. At last, I could eat!

Although the quality and quantity of the meat was OK, the brisket was dry and tasteless. None of the delicious smoke taste that defines BBQ. A further clue: when you drive past that place, you don t smell BBQ smoke. Too bad, it could have been good enough to negate the chaotic service and prevent me from writing this.

After the meal I complained to the seriously face pierced manager. Xe offered a refund. I explained to xim that it was not a matter of money. (I hope I am using the correct pronoun and not committing a hate crime here.)

Maybe their steaks are ok; I have not tried one yet. But the place is really dark. The managers probably think that makes it cozy and romantic. If you go there, carry a flashlight so you can read the menu and avoid the anti-BBQ.

Made a reservation for 20 two months ago with a manager and when calling to confirm the day we reserved they had no record of it. Seated us but the food was horrible. Worst ribs I have ever had and manager wouldn't adjust bill even though half of my group ordered the ribs and agreed they were almost inedible. Truly disappointed

Seating is always uncomfortable there, but you have to make do with what there is. Enjoy the good firewood pizza and beer. good blue cheese dressing

I really wish this place had better food, the restaurant itself is beautiful and the staff are great. The problem is the food just doesn't match everything else. The bbqs should be great, but it's just not that good, always dry

I haven't been to Red's Old 395 Restaurant for quite some time. On December 12, 2019, 3 of my co-workers and I went there for lunch. Service was fast, friendly, and the food was good. A co-worker and I ordered the steak soft tacos. My other 2 co-workers ordered some burgers.
The presentation of the food good and everything was delicious.

Reds is a lot of fun. Prices are a little higher than some of their competitors but the food and service is worth it. You can pick your own seats on the patio or by the bar or you can wait a short time for a booth/table in the dining area. Last time we went with the kids we waited less than ten minutes for a booth and played I-Spy using all their cool decorations. But the best part is their draft beer selection. So many awesome beers to choose from. Reds is one of my favorite places in Carson City.

Love the decor and the atmosphere! Staff was very nice and attentive. Women bathroom cleanliness was a 2 out of 5. I would give the restaurant 4 if the food wasn't a hit and miss. I ordered the Iron steak salad and it was very good. But, my boyfriend got the brisket and it was really dry and so was the beans. My pasta was okay. It tasted way better when I added some salt. My boyfriend came before and the food was better. So, it may be who is the chef at the time. I will come back and give them a second chance although I had mixed reviews.

Food was great. Honestly, I spent more time looking at all of the cool historical items everywhere.

This place has the best sweet potato fries.
My wife had some kind of California chicken thing, and she was happy with the portion sizes.

Excellent place for ribs and such. Rustic atmosphere. Great place for family and friends. Eat inside or outside. View and enjoy all the western antiques hanging on the walls and ceilings.

Amazing barbecue, very friendly staff, and a light-hearted atmosphere make this a great place to go out. If you visit, be sure to check out the Que for Two, will definitely bring home leftovers

Really had a good lunch I had a very good hamburger with the best fries I've ever had I will go bad as soon as I can.

While the food is good, they have a policy trying to force you to sit in the bar. When you come in they will tell you there s a wait in the restaurant side but your welcome to sit the bar. They did this to us today even though there was only one table full in the restaurant and all the other tables were empty. The staff then said it s our policy to keep people from sitting in the restaurant so we don t get to full this is HORRIBLE and unacceptable customer service. How about I help you stay empty by leaving this review and keeping my family out of your restaurant. Some people don t want to be forced to go to a bar!

It's pricy but worth it, they que for 2 is 45 bucks but it has a full rack of ribs and 2 more plates I believe

Over all the service is great a lot of beer choices, for the food i have had very good burgers other items, but one exeption is there brisket in my opinion it is not smoked, was tough.Too many capers in the chicken picatta. just thought you might like to know.

Visited this restaurant while passing through. Ithe BBQ ribs and brisket were both very good. We had excellent service in a timely manner.

Red's Old 395, has Always had the Best Prime Rib we have found. The Menu is Awesome too along with the Desert's. It's a Great Atmosphere at Red's so, if you're are Hungry, make your Eating Experience at Red's Old 395.

Good food and large portions in an interesting space with antique steam roller and other equipment. Good service.

Went to Reds 395 Sunday evening for our anniversary celebration, after reviewing the menu on line we didn't see prime rib so I called, I was told that's only on Saturday. It didn't say that on the menu but we went anyway, I wanted grilled salmon I was told they didn't have that or pizza so I had a flat iron steak. The food was good stake was cooked properly. No baked potatoes just mashed garlic potatoes. The restuarant has a great atmosphere and plenty of seating.
I gave a 3 star rating for a incomplete menu.

Best place to eat for dinner, hands down. Employees are super nice and well trained, food is good, amazing interior design. I have no problems at all! You must go to this place!
