Red's is a good place to barbeque in Carson City. They have a lot of beers on draft and an expansive bottled beer selection. The main focus of the food is barbecue but they have other options too. The cornbread stands out for being not overly dry, and the honey butter adds a very nice touch.

The food was excellent. The initial service was fast and service all the way through was friendly. It was a bit slow when I was finished and waiting to get my bill. It may be they were preparing for a large party that had not arrived yet. All in all it was good food and service. I will be going back again. The quality of the wood fired salmon solidified that decision.

Nice, old time restaurant with old memorabilia such as old wagons, wagon wheels, trains, etc. Huge bar area with tv's on. Large outdoor patio seating with fireplace. Food was excellent. The wings were amazing. HUGE & spicy. Service was fast & friendly.

I have been to Red's on several occasions, I love the place. Great BBQ, I do need to try some other options on the menu though. Seems like every time I visit I get the meal for two, AWESOME variety to say the least. Atmosphere is great, wait staff is excellent, thank you Liz for being so attentive to us this evening.

We waited over forty minutes for food that wasn't hot. Coffee was too strong. Even the bathroom had a broken down toilet! The building itself was cooler than what it should be for winter!

The service was slow. The rest of our table was served 5 minutes or more prior to my meal arriving at the table. I ordered a simple cheeseburger, medium rare which for 10.99 was a major disappointment. It not only arrived late to the table, but was obviously a frozen patty cooked well done and was like trying to eat unseasoned cardboard. The fried onions on the burger tasted like they came straight out of a can and were tough and stale
Definitely not a place I would eat again. It would have been nice had the waitress asked how was our meal, or had thier been some kind of follow up by management.

Well our second visit which was lunch, was horrible. The burgers which were asked to be prepared med rare and medium were precooked, and dry as a bone! The lunch special of frech dip was so thickly sliced and full of fat and grissel and tough, the roll was destroyed just trying to cut it in half. I'm not sure if this is "normal fare" during the lunch hour, but regardless of the fact for 2 separate items to be so dismal seems a pattern.
Very disappointed

Reds is one of our go to places in the Carson City area. The food is always good and the servers are friendly and knowledgeable. When it comes to craft beers, Reds has one of the largest selections around.
The interior decor is eclectic and there seems to always be something you hadn t seen before.
It is a great experience all around, but it is popular so there may be a short wait involved. Give it a try.

The side salad was good, the chicken sandwich was alright - but very messy - and the prices are about what you'd expect from any similar restaurant. The restaurant is lined with old vehicles and other quirky decorations. It's a nice place for lunch.

We made advance reservations for a graduation party of 12. We arrived about 1:20 pm. Half and hour later we asked for menus. We then had to go up to the front desk to get them. No one took our drink order. We had to go to the bar ourselves. It was 2:10 before our order was taken.ALMOST AN HOUR. A party of 6 had been seated at the same time and they were already finished eating and getting ready to go. Once served no one came to check on us. Poorest service I've ever had anywhere. This was not our first time eating there but it will be our last. Food is ok, but if you want to be waited on choose somewhere else. Carson City has plenty of other options.

Its brutal atmosphere, a lot of interesting details in the interior.
Delicious cocktails, food did not have time to try - the kitchen was closed.

Amazing amazing AMAZING! From the first time my family and I stepped in Reds we were hooked! The staff is very friendly, meals are out of this world, and the card trick entertainment is wonderful especially when you have 4 antsy kids. We frequent here and a slways lol forward to our next visit! Not to mention the prices are worth it!

I'm split between 4 and 5 stars, the service was just average... friendly but slightly lacking in making sure drinks were full etc. But the food and the presentation was seriously delicious and beautifully prepared. Awesome decor. Got there a little bit early for dinner, good thing because it got PACKED by 6pm. Price is in line, and the portions were more than we could eat. In the end I have to go 5 stars, you will not regret going here.

Once I walked into to this restaurant I love it It's a history museum, not just a restaurant.
The BBQ beef brisket is so tasteful, so does the beans.
And the server also super friendly.
If you are in Carson City area, got to see this restaurant

I went here because everyone raved about it. IT WAS TERRIBLE. The atmosphere was cool but the food for a $98 tab... Was disgusting!
Also the service was okay at best, the waiter wasn't really familiar with the menu and the food that was described was not what you got. Would not recommend!
this place lives off of a reputation but does not deliver!

Went in last Thursday night with my son. No waiting order double Jack and cokes the worst we've had. Sent them back. Dinner arrived a short time later I ordered a $28 ribeye that arrived on a bed of soggy french fries and had a lot of grissl. My son ordered the combo plate with ribs and hot links. His ribs were bone dry, and we suspect the sausage was chorizo, also very dry. Manager cleared our check, but made us feel like we were the problem. Terrible food, drinks and attitude. Most disappointing experience and will not return.

This place is charming, with really interesting memoribilia everywhere. Hanging above us was the cart used to bring George T (Charlton Heston) into town after being captured in Planet of the Apes, there is the oldest bar from San Francisco is their checkin desk. The food is wonderful. A place Not to be missed
