I've been there many times due to my family liking it, I however have never had a good experience there. The cornbread is the only food they've ever served me that actually had flavor, but in order for it enjoy it you have to pick out the huge chunks of veggies they bake into it.

Good food, good service, good beer. I love coming here. I try to come here at least once a week, if not more. The sausage side car is my favorite dish. Also make sure to ask about the mug club, and the 101 club. Epic.
Solid 3 out of 5. + Great atmosphere starts in parking lot. + Busy but not a long wait for table + Lounge area for the short table wait + Very nice hostess + BBQ looked good! Friend ordered the burger, it was great.
- Server seemed in a big hurry. She was very nice but back of the house pace was her front of the house pace.
What a great place to eat! Fabulous food, tons of choices, Fast and friendly staff. A tad overpriced but well worth the night out! Well stocked bar as well.
Very awesome place with a wonderful selection of food and beer. The quality of both is beyond amazing. The staff is very friendly. The serving sizes are large and could fee multiple people. The atmosphere is kind of a country hipster mix. The building itself looks amazing and beautiful.
The food was mediocre. The service was poor. We arrived on a Friday evening at 6pm, a busy time but there were empty tables and we didn't have to wait. We ordered drinks. My husband drinks NA beer and they were out of St. Pauli Girl so he settled for O'Doul's (a poor substitute). Is that any way to start a weekend, being out of decent beer? My Kiltlifter came with no problem. We ordered a salad, appetizer tacos to share, and sweet potato fries to share, all to be served at the same time. They brought my salad before anything else so I sat there and ate my salad while my husband waited for his food. They delivered the tacos and sweet potato fries (w/o the dipping sauce listed on the menu). The tacos were pretty good, I would order them again. No one came back to the table to see how we were doing until we were done eating so we never did get our dipping sauce for the sweet potatoes (and they were a bit bland and could have used some sauce). When the waitress did rush by the table to see how things were I had to ask her if I could have another drink. I'm just a tourist passing through so they are not losing a big customer but NO, I would not go back there, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. When you first walk up to the place you will think, omg, this place is so cute! What ambience! No, it's all show. The food is ok, the service is not ok.
Great food, great service but often very busy. Go when you have plenty of time. It's well worth the wait. I've tried almost everything and loved it all.
I had the ribs, beans and mashed potatoes, ribs were fantastic, beans were really good, mashed potatoes; the simplest of staples were horrible. I have a suspicion they came from a box and no gravy. The atmospherewas nice, quite busy but enough servers to maintain, and quite polite! They also had a magician who went from table to table performing, quite enigmatic. Prices were a little high but based on the overall the price was worth it
Red's is definitely a need to go restaurant. If you want to go out to eat till you expload and then continue enjoying your food the following day Red's is the place to go.
DONT GET THE BUGER I had gotten a burger And ask them not once but twice to make sure it s WELL done and theY still didn t get it right and theN after taste was horrible very disappointed and they took forever to make it my other party had there food already. and I had to wait for one burger By the time they brought it to me the other members of my party were done
Step 1: buy kinder's bbq sauce & bring it with you. Ok, so, I don't like coming here for lunch as much as dinner. So, when I came around 12p, I just went ahead and got a burger. It was pretty good, really, just an average burger. But, for dinner? YES! So, this is when they have their mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables and they are some of the best you'll find in a restaurant besides homemade. Ok, I spend a lot of time in New Orleans and really spend a lot of time traveling around the US and I can confidently say, the pulled pork at this small restaurant in, who'd think, Carson City, NV, is some of the best I've had, period. ...With that said, service is not always great, not terrible! Just, usually adequate. And the sauce, ugh, it's so disappointing. I, being the daughter of my father, follow in his footsteps, and bring my own bbq sauce because with as good as that pork (and the ribs are too!!) Red's bbq sauce leaves much to be desired. In summary, bring your own bbq sauce & come for the dinner menu.
Had a fantastic experience at Reds Old 395 Grill. The environment was warm, happy and very Intresting. Every direction you looked nostalgia was there. The food is great and the number of beer on draft is the first for us. We will return.
This was my first time trying this place and the food was good, not great. This feast for 2 that they claim is more like a feast for 4. They definitely don't skimp on their portions. Have a great selection of beer, and the environment is packed with lots of color and awesome artwork. Will be coming back again to explore further.
I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Wasnt to my liking, the manager gave me a full refund, a discount, and offered to make something else. Very courteous. The beans though.... Amazing. I took a bowl of those home :)
I want to start by saying that I'd love this place when it first opened up; great atmosphere, food and service! But now I wouldn t feed their food to a dog!! I found that throughout the years their service has been hit or miss and the quality of the food has diminished horrifying fast as well as their prices skyrocketing-up at the pace. Their barbecue is probably the worst I have ever had- its WAY over smoked leaving it to dry to chew. Their pizza! Forget about it-with its overdosing of corn kernels (what are they thinking!!!). The menu is all over the place and has far too many options-with no quality control in the kitchen to back any of it up Last Friday night was the final straw for me with this place!! And I really needed to get this off my chest and not let them get away with this anymore So I intentionally stayed away from their barbecue and decided to try their new Ahi tacos- the plate was completely uneatable. It was over bathed in teriyaki sauce and served with a wasabi dressing; just horrible! So I decided to go with the Friday special. It was the meatloaf..How can you mess up meatloaf? But these guys manage to do that with ease!! Three obviously reheated over spiced gelatinized slabs of meat served with a side of mushy veggies and dry mashed potatoes- the mashed potatoes appeared as if they had once been frozen then thawed out and reheated quickly and dumped on to the plate. What the H#@$??? This place is just embarrassing!! Maybe (and that s a big MAYBE) outside of having a few drinks with some friends there; I would not EVER recommend this place to eat at!! And Folks this isn t a cheap place! So what s the problem???? With what they charge for their food they can easily hire a better chief and QC person in the kitchen .. Come-on Red s get it together!!!
