Absolutely gorgeous especially in the beginning of summer!

Red Butte Gardens - so beautiful in the spring. I love the herb garden and the desert landscape up high. We went on a ZAP day which was free. Those days get very busy and parking is hard, but there are a lot of kids and it s fun for the little people.

Gorgeous! I love Red Butte Gardens. It is such a peaceful, beautiful place to be. The concerts here are also top notch -- you can take your own picnic and relax while you watch the show.

Better then The Butchart Gardens in Victoria Canada!!!

Awesome place to see a show. Do bring low pro chairs and beverages.

The garden after dark is so fun. The staff creates the coolest sets to walk through.

This is the best botanical garden I have ever visited!! Awesome layout and venue.

Hands down the most beautiful botanical garden I have ever been too. Loved how it was set up and you could walk for hours through the garden and surrounding landscape. A must see if you're visiting from the area. There are also so many great views!

So nice! We took lots of pictures. Lots of fun things for the kids as well.

We had a lovely time here for a concert and look forward to going back ASAP!

Didn't know you had to book in advance. Didn't want to wait an hour for the next slot; there's not even a cafe nearby to pass the time

Attended a catered event in the orangerie. Open, airy, and lots of natural light. Way more room than necessary for the 50 or so people there. The food was exceptional for catered events I've attended.

It was beautiful but not very wheelchair friendly... No bus tour and a bit expensive considering we couldn't see all the areas because of our limitation with a wheelchair.

There garden looked great. There was a surprising amount to see here.

Love it! Such a great place for concerts really enjoyed it.

This is a very peaceful place to visit, and to also have a quiet picnic lunch in a getaway place. Our grandchildren even enjoy the many activities to see and experience. The Lego exhibit is wonderful! The concert series is wonderful and very unique. Listening to live music in the open-air with the mountains and the valley all around his fabulous

Very well kept gardens, very friendly staff. A couple more weeks and the scenery will bust out, can't wait to go back soon. Highly recommended stop an any visit to SLC

We had our September wedding here at the Rose House and it was the most lovely evening! The staff made everything seamless. The gardens are such a beautiful backdrop for a wedding and the Rose House itself is such a cool structure! I can't say enough about the wonderful people who make this place function on a daily basis and during special events. They were so kind and helpful from the very first communication to the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend considering Red Butte for a wedding or special event or just for a truly lovely day strolling through the amazing gardens. Our wedding day was so incredibly beautiful because the area is tended with extreme care. You will love your time here and will find yourself wanting to go back!

Beautiful scenery place- you can take service animals inside!

Nice place to feel nature and relax. Thousands of different plants from around the globe.

One of my favorite places to visit, during any season. And there is a fun play area for kids too. Our babies love the sandbox! Aside from the gardens, there is even a small art gallery where you can purchase local art-

This is a very pretty, well maintained garden/park. If you're a newcomer, note that you have to go through the main building and pay to get inside. There are multiple gates marking entry in the area, but you can't go through them. My first time there, I was a bit confused on how to get in, BUT after finally finding out how, it was well worth it.

Amazing venue with fantastic acoustic sound and views of the Wasatch Mountains. Seen so many artists here. You can bring your own food and drinks, small chairs and blankets for when it gets cold. Seriously the best venue.

An extremely beautiful place. Loved every minute of it. Nice walking trails and flower gardens. I will be back.

It has world wide plant life. Also has fish of many varieties which I enjoyed. The hiking trails that begin in the park are cool too. The biggest selling point to me was that it was free for those with a u of u id.
If you are looking for a good and romantic but still very fun date idea, I recommend everything this place has to offer. If you are not a u student, I do think prices are steep, and I also feel like I would appreciate it more if I cared about the difference between a pink flower from Japan and a pink flower from Florida.

The gardens are extensive and beautiful. All the staff were courteous and very nice as we roamed the many paths and gardens, and they were all very knowledgeable about the gardens and plants. Some of the names were missing from plants, but all in all we were able to find the names of most varieties. Very nice afternoon...

Not sure if I can add much more than what everyone else have said. Other than, it is a FANTASTIC place!! The fragrance in the garden was heavenly and wow, what a peaceful place. Worth every dime for the entrance and no doubt about it, my husband and I will be back!

Excellent concert venue. Well designed sound system. Easy access to restrooms and parking.

It was bery awesome.even in 90+ heat. Still plenty of blooms!

Wonderful as always the Lego exhibit of butterflies hummingbirds praying mantis squirrels is so awesome cannot believe one person could design and construct these fabulous pieces spread throughout the garden. Pack up the family for a morning or afternoon visit.

This place is fantastic at any time of year, but spring is the best with all the fragrant flowers! A good trail system in the back, too.

We had a great day with the family at Red Butte Gardens. The staff were very welcoming and the atmosphere was very relaxing. You can walk for hours looking at the different Gardens on the property and my kids loved it. I will definitely bring the family here again.

Each garden area was unique and beautiful. Sweet smells bright colors and the trees.

Really pretty walk amongst the flowers. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

I had a great time wandering the garden during the open house. I had fun following the raccoon tracks and listening to the birds chirp while searching for them in the trees. No matter the season Red Butte is always beautiful.

This garden is beautiful and informative. We went in the morning and took the tour just my wife and I and the tour guide was great and lots of fun. I will gladly go back

We went to the Garden after Dark event. It was a really fun adventure through their really pretty gardens at night. We had so much and will be back for more!

Is to park and walk to. Standing in line can be trying, especially in the heat. If your seeing a concert it us general admission. All seating has a good view of the stage

Super beautiful botanical garden, I particularly appreciated the space dedicated to teaching how to redo English gardens using plants from desert or semi-desert to better adapt to the dry climate of the region. Wonderful initiative!

Gorgeous gardens with concerts frequently throughout the summer.

The concerts are a perfect date night. You can bring your own alcohol and food to the venue. Bring your own low sitting lawn chair, or buy VIP tickets and they have them for you. The food is pretty decent as well...

Red Butte Garden is far and away my favorite place in the more "civilized" part of the Wasatch--maybe because it's a lovely balance and counter-balance of the "gardens" of the foothills and the intentional spaces and plants of the Garden. I love Red Butte year-round. I wouldn't say it's serene. There are usually at least a few curious children (other than my own) bounding about. There is, however a sense of calm that pervades at Red Butte.

It's also a wonderful place to see a show. The natural amphitheater acoustics and the sound technology mix for great sound. And the views are fantastic.

Beautiful grounds and gorgeous views if you walk to the higher elevations.
