Wonderful place! Vast multi-tiered cemented garden path with a variety of (some surprisingly long) meandering dirt paths. Insightful blend of natural environments alongside an eye opening variety of plant life artfully distributed throughout the garden. Highly recommend climbing the hill a bit to see one of the many beautiful, well maintained lookout benches. Breathtaking views abound, bring some water!

We went for my company summer party. I say that because I didn t pay and I m not sure how much it costs or if it s worth the price of admissions.

My children loved it, they would have spent more time, but we needed to head home. They really enjoyed running around searching for the various Lego art installations. They enjoyed running through various dirt paths and across bridges and jumping along the rocks across the water.

This garden turned out to be even better than I had expected! I loved the way the paths wound up the hillside and the view from the top was spectacular. The 7year old loved running up and down; the children's garden was amazing as well.

The garden is very beautiful and educational as well. It s a wonderful place to take a stroll and enjoy earth s beauties. It pales in comparison the grandness and extravagance of Thanksgiving Point s gardens, but is still very nice.

Oh to be amongst trees and shrubs, cactii and veils of hanging plants! These enormous ancient creatures of whom we are beneficiaries prove not just our need to be amongst them but how richly diverse they can be. Here at RBG the Walk is peppered with interesting finds of sometimes bizarre proportions. Good job staff!

What a gem of a place! Absolutely beautiful. The different gardens are wonderful. There is a cute waterfall. The children s garden is cute but it is closed now due to Covid. They have different events and now it is Bootanicals their Halloween event. It is cute and perfect for kids. I highly recommend this place. I have yet to attend a concert here but the amphitheater is beautiful. The workers are super friendly. The grounds are super well maintained. This is a must visit place.

I love how many romantic little nooks there are to have a seat and enjoy the view! Absolutely beautiful, lush, dynamic gardens, with many plants well marked to be able to know what you are looking at. A lovely way to spend a sunset!

Very quaint and pleasant. Unfortunately couldn't see all of the plants where signs indicated they would be due to time of year but would have liked to see those sections replaced with other foliage appropriate to the season. Overall a nice and inexpensive thing to do in town! Upstairs has a nice skyline view where you can see a bit of the great salt lake as well!

This is a must visit place in Salt Lake City. It is really lovely and peaceful. The parking lot is pretty big, but as you walk around the park it never seems very crowded. I went on a sunny day and it was just beautiful and soon as you exit building and look at the garden. It is very well maintained and has very nice walking paths.

A beautiful place for walking around if you enjoy plants and the outdoors. However, I did not enjoy the rattlesnake or the tarantula that I saw about only 15 minutes apart from each other lol but if you love those things then go right ahead.

Stunningly beautiful gardens and wonderfully diverse & designed native plants & trees throughout! I will return whenever I'm in Salt Lake City. A must see & do for anyone who.loves Utah's high desert beauty. Thank you!

One of the best sites in town for plant lovers. It is on the U campus and on the back of the research park. It is also very close to the Natural History Museum of Utah, which can be combined in one trip.

The famous Bonneville trail is nearby.

You can go there in different seasons. I would say late summer is the best time to visit, while winter is perhaps the least crowded time.

This is undoubtably the most beautiful concert venue I've ever been to. It is in a gorgeous location, and as the name might suggest, covered in wonderful garden vegetation. There were clean bathrooms near the stage ground and several sections in which to settle on. I was also surprised, but pleasantly so, that we were allowed to bring our own food and drink. Everyone seemed to be having a good time, and so did my mother and I.

BARENAKED LADIES were fantastic. (This is the best rock band with clean lyrics) they put on a great show. Best venue in town to see concerts. Must have for the concerts. Hat, sunglasses, beach short chairs, blanket or jacket, cooler full of stinky cheese and paired beverages. Thanks we had a great time

Always lovely! When the flowers are blooming, there's no better place to go and take a stroll. If I recall correctly, if you're U of U student, you can get access for free so don't forget your U card.

Went to a beautiful wedding ceremony in Red Butte Gardens on June 23rd. It was bright and lightly breezy and perfect weather. A tram was provided to ride from the parking lot to the Rose Garden for the event. Garden did not have bugs and walking paths were clear and clean. The flowers were blooming and fragrant. Water, lemon aid, and delicious salads/sandwiches were provided after the wedding. I just attended the ceremony so I am not sure how much reserving the venue cost, but it seemed like a great choice. This venue does allow alcohol, some wedding venues in the area do not permit alcohol.

Everytime I walk through Red Butte I imagine what Salt Lake City would look like if Red Butte gardeners were in charge of "all" of Salt Lake City's municipal landscapes....shaded sidewalks, benches, picnic tables, edible plants, etc. The world would come to Salt Lake City to experience such a unique, one of a kind wonder. The Red Butte Gardens (especially the ones I imagine) and the electric scooters I've seen zipping around Salt Lake City are so very wondrous and exciting. Koodos to Salt Lake City/government for allowing such innovative ideas.

Red Butte has amazing grounds up above the University of Utah. There are different themed gardens, with different plants budding and blooming throughout the seasons. Everything is well-maintained, and the staff are nice. One of the better gift shops I've seen as well.

Red Butte Garden seems underwhelming at first glance, but I love plants and this place was amazing for getting ideas for your own yard. It's also a great place to extend your plant pallet in your own yard and increase diversity with a sneak peek of how the plant can actually grow in Utah. I would recommend visiting the garden before you make any changes to your yard. This garden is extensive and in order to see it all you will need several hours, or you could take it in portions. Again it's a beautifully well kept and curated garden.
