Huge and beautiful in early May. So nice to see alpine plants again after so many years away.

It's nice place ,just off the natural history museum

I could spend ages in this place. It's high enough to escape the smog on bad days and far enough from the city to really immerse yourself in what the garden has to offer. Great place for kids too

Red Butte Garden has beautiful flowers, herbs, plants, and trees. The atmosphere is interesting and aromatic. There is wildlife on the trails in back and there is a duck/Koi pond. There are also concerts held here. If you would to go to the museum it's right next door. A great place for a date or family event including strolls and picnics. One of my favorite places.

I love these gardens. Very calm, well-shaded, and quiet. They are cared for and planned, with paved paths in 80% of the park or so, but it still feels like a natural area and not a manicured royal garden. There is also access to some wild areas and low-grade hiking up in the canyon with lots of shade. There are plenty of picnic areas for bringing your own food and eating outside. It's also very popular for events such as weddings and their staff seems well-trained to facilitate ceremonies like that.

Generally, the Gardens are also not busy, even on holidays or other days when hiking areas are overloaded. Membership fees are tax deductible if you plan on visiting often. There is a nice children's area with interesting outdoor features that are a little more interactive, but still calm.

I haven't been to a concert at the amphitheater, but I know they are popular and usually sell out quickly. The concert venue capacity is only 3,000 so it's probably not going to feel really crowded.

Absolutely beautiful place, kids friendly, visit the Medicinal Garden Herb Garden or my favorite the Fragrance Garden. There are a store with products, fragrances and everything you can imagine about flowers and plants , I just love it

Such a beautiful place. Have lived here all my life and never went. Very accessible for my son who is in a wheelchair. Loved looking at all the different types of plants and trees! I Would definitely recommend you go!

This place is amazing ! Definitely recommend a visit. All the lavender and lil bees buzzing are great.

This place is beautiful, green, and relaxing. The crickets sang a long with the music. Feeds your soul.

I love this concert venue, however it's gotten really crowded and some people don't want to share space very willingly.

Such an amazing place either for the garden or the concert series. If you go to a concert bring something warm because it gets cold there, specially when the sun goes down. Also remember your low back low seating chairs.

Always have a good time hiking the trails. Beautiful!

An amazing place to see all sorts of plants from cacti to spectacular flowers, they got it all. They have lots of trails to go on and it will take a few hours to experience it all!

We went not knowing what to expect and absolutely loved it! Beautiful, fun and educational! We could spend all day there!!!

This is one of the coolest venues in the city. Seriously has the best views and vibe. Bring something warm cause the temperatures do drop pretty low. You are to bring as much food and drink as you want (including adult beverages) just make sure you take out all your trash! One of my favorite venues, just get your tickets early shows always sell out here

Very beautiful place, well kept and great for the whole family

We love coming here so much we got a membership! My family will just walk around for hours talking and looking at all the plants. It's a great place to just relax and spend a day outside.

Came here for a guided walking tour when my family was in town. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we all had a great time. The garden is massive, and we all wish we had more time. We will definitely be returning, since there were a few areas we never got to see.

Beautiful and peaceful. You can tell that a lot of love goes into the planning and caring for the garden. It's also a great place to learn about native plants and water wise gardening.

I love the concert series that they have here. They allow you to bring in your own food and your own alcohol and the band selection is always really cool. The outdoors during the summer is pleasant and makes the atmosphere really fun.

The stunning beauty of this vast garden is not to be missed! Under the auspices of a PhD Biologist of the University of Utah, these gardens have a fabulous display of a vast number of Flora. The doctor (sorry, I forgot his name) was especially kean on oak trees of which there is a large collection. The ponds, tree top patios, children's garden are so beautiful. If walking isn't your thing, there's a free guided tram ride. The visitor center is well equipped. Free parking!

A bit spendy, so we only go on the crowded free days but lots of interesting stuff inside and outside.

Most flowers are dead bye now this is best when it is warmer ehen things are in bloom.This is a winter rating only 5 star spring to fall

Beautiful location, very well kept, and a friendly staff. Bring food and water for a picnic, many little locations to take advantage of.

This place is beautiful! Absolutely loved the little hike trails, the gardens were breathtaking! Even though it was pretty hot out, it is worth seeing the different kinds of gardens!

Was a very hot day but worth it, alot to see and impressive layout!

What a great experience. I had been thinking about redoing our parkway strips in front of our house for a couple of years. I saw plants I loved there and decided to do desertscapes. After selecting the plants and cacti, I spoke with them to make sure the plants were compatible and a proper soil mix. I am really pleased with the results.

Have been to many concerts here - one just last night. Such a great venue for a show. The employees are so friendly and helpful and the food they offer is great! Love the variety of bands they bring in....

I have watched this place grow from the very beginning and am always amazed at what has been done here.

Red Butte garden is a lovely place to visit and walk through. At different times of the year you will see a brilliant explosion of colors, and every type of flower and plant that grows in the Utah climate. You can also enjoy this experience while enjoying a wonderful concert. There are many artists of all types that enjoy Red Butte Gardens
