Position is ok being in Yaletown (partically in the downtown) but the hotel is one of the worst I had. I travel all around the world fo both business and pleasure, having been in 16 different countries in the last 20 months. The room have not been done for days even if a complained about that with the front desk, which gave me as excuse two useless ticket for breakfast. But the same happend again after their apology. I think they do it an purpose, maybe they do not have enough people to follow all the customers room. By the way the bed was not done, the garbage was not removed, toilet paper not replaced and toiletteries not replaced as well, only God knows if they have ever cleaned the floor during that days, but since some clearly dirty spot was not cleaned I presume they did not clean properly the room during my entire stay. Just to share with you if you are considering this hotel at all. The only star I gave them is for the convinient position, for the rest one star is an over rate.

Rude rude rude...huge deposit takes days to get back on your card... this place is completely and utterly forgotten that it's a customer service-based business he behaved as though they are top-notch and you should be begging them to let you stay there

On our trip through Canada the travel agency booked us into this hotel. When we saw the reviews, our enthusiasm was limited. It was not as bad as we expected. I can confirm the strange smell. The nightclub is also noticeable on Fridays and Saturdays. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. They also warned us that the road will become little Las Vegas at night. The cleanliness of the rooms was not exceptionally bad or good. If you want to be absolutely quiet at night you should not come here. But if you like the nightlife and a central location, is right. For one or two nights completely sufficient.

First of all, before you stay in this hotel, be aware that it is next door to a night club, so I hope you don't plan on sleeping!
Second, someone left their very large sounding dog in their room that night, so all I could hear was a loud barking every time a full grown adult would run full speed down the hallway, yelling loudly.
Then, the front desk attendant asks for our car keys, so that the valet can take our car to the underground parking. This was a relief as I was worried about leaving it in the open parking lot next to the hotel.
However, upon leaving for dinner and coming back hours later, it was still in the side parking lot. Woke up the next morning, it had never been moved at all. So disappointing.

We booked this hotel through Priceline thinking it would live up to its brand name. I was disappointed by the room that we had gotten primarily because as odd as it sounds our carpet was sticky and quite gross.

The ladies at the front desk were sweet and accommodating but other than that the main purpose of stay aka the hotel room did not live up to par.

Moreover, the neighborhood that this hotel is in is quite sketchy and is not suitable for families.

Rundown area, feels like a local residents hotel rather than one for travellers, but room was clean and bed comfortable. Drug deals happening right outside the door as we witnessed two and we were not hanging around at all.

Great location!!!! Right on Granville Street in an area close to everything you would need. Small, but perfect for a few nights. Staff was very accommodating! One downside is it is right beside a nightclub, so if you are looking for a quiet place this wouldn't be the best. But if you are looking for a good location near lots of nightlife, restaurants, etc. it is perfect!

Very adequate for a cheap room, small but clean. Served its purpose. We were on the 6th floor and could just hear the base from the club below, not enough to keep us from being able to sleep though.

The hotel is built on top of a nightclub. Don't stay here expecting to get sleep on weekends. The building feels like it is falling apart, and half-naked drug-addicts roaming the halls at night asking for a hook-up doesn't help a lot.

The room was small with an ineffective use of space, especially for watching TV at the end of the day from different beds. The bathroom wasn't cleaned very well and when we noticed blood on the sheets then went down to tell the front desk they acted as if it must have been ours. All I can say is that the bed and pillows were very comfortable and the location was pretty good for everything we wanted to do.

This is NOT A 3-STAR HOTEL. I stayed for a 6-days work trip and I can honestly say that was the most disturbing "hotel" experience I ever had. The place is overwhelmingly old and musty. The floors creek, the carpets look (and smell) like they haven't been changed in decades. There were multiple stains in my room (on the carpet and on the lamp shades) and the door knob was filthy. My bathtub was also full of residue and little hairs as soon as I checked in. There was this ever-present odor of must as soon as I walked into the room. Walking barefoot on the carpet was not even an option unless I wanted sticky feet. The bed felt wet. The best part? They tried to conceal a yellow (used to be white) comforter with 2 white sheets that went above and under this comforter. I only found out 3 nights later that i was putting my face on this used-to-be-white sheet! If you at least care about minimum cleanliness, this is not the place for you.

Located in the heart of Vancouver, this is a great hotel for the price. My room had a living room and kitchen. I was able to get the room for only $60 plus tax. I would highly recommend this hotel and would surely come back if I was to visit Vancouver again.

This is the worst hotel we have ever been to. The forgot a wake up call, the iron didn't work, the hair dryer didn't work, there was mould in the bathroom grout, two tiles fell off the wall in the middle of the night giving us a hell of a fright. The carpet was very dirty and badly stained. The beds were never made during our stay just the top cover pulled over and smoothed out. There were no real cups for a coffee just cardboard cups. The coffee machine was not cleaned during our stay. The floor boards were noisy when you walked in the room. The lifts are dirty and the hallway carpets have ripples in them which you trip over if not careful. What a disgrace to the Ramada name. It should be turned into a pet motel only. It is not fit for human habitation. Don't go there ever!!

This hotel is decent for the price. There are clubs next to the hotel so you can hear some music at night. But we did so much sightseeing during the day, we were knocked out at night. If you want to be in the heart of all the action, this is the place to stay. Granville is known as the entertainment district and it sure is. There are clubs and eateries of every kind. Lots of shopping and neat stores around too. Vancouver has one of the best transit systems around and staying in Granville makes it even easier to get around.

I haven t even stayed yet and called to ask to check in early to my hotel because my boyfriend and I have a 4 month old. I also asked for a baby bed and she noted to put in a play pen for my son. She also gave us a new room with a King size bed no extra charge. She was amazing right off the bat. I am excited to stay here knowing there is people who take care of you. Thank you so much.

Was pleasantly surprised to get a free upgrade to a suite room on my most recent trip to vancouver. Everything was clean, with a minor exception being the shower. I heard beforehand from reviews that the rooms were cramped and uncomfortable, but I found it to be quite ideal for my wife and I.

The hotel is attached to a club. Despite it being Thursday our room had the bass running through it until 1am. They do "valet" parking situation where they park your car at night so you have to hand in your keys and ask for them back. Our truck was broken into and bycicle stolen. I requested for them to look into the video cameras and they said they would I have called back 5 times and each time told the person has been notified who can look at the cameras and I would get a call back. I am super disappointed with this stay. The room was okay, could use a nice deep clean. When walls have stains or rubbish on them it disgusts me. I would only recommend staying here if you were looking to party and want quick access to the clubs.

Convenient downtown location, but becoming a rundown area. Carpets were quite dirty. We saw two drug deals happen right in front of us immediately outside the main door. Felt like it was more a residence hotel than one for travelers. However the room was clean and the bed comfortable, but the pillows were very very firm. Would not stay here again.

Room is great. It's an adequate size.they have a functioning elevator and stairs. So if you complain about a working elevator then go ahead and knock yourself out on the stairs Chubby! Bed is comfortable. The staff is friendly. The breakfast is good. The room warms up quickly in the winter. The parking is $18 a night and for me it is great since I can walk to where I need to go while visiting the city. If you cant walk distances then there's a bus stop right out the front door. If you must drive then you will have an additional parking cost down the road. If you complain about this place then its your fault for not spending more money for a 5 star hotel. You get what you pay for you cheap/whiny bastards.

Just checked in and the very nice lady at the front desk upgraded our room to King Size Standard Room
And it's awesome
Thanks again nice lady
Well after just one day at this hotel my companion had to run some errands the next morning and look at me sleep in
She ordered fresh towels and coffee fixings to be left outside the door and to let me sleep.
But they did not listen and instead knocked on the door and entered anyways and quietly stole my brand new cell phone and wallet with 470$ cash and 2 -250$ pre paid Visa's
So at this time I regretfully recons my stellar review of this establishment and change it to a negitive five stars -

Yours truly

Take note that this hotel is downtown in the entertainment district. The hotel is actually located between a pub and a club so the noise on the weekends is very loud and there's lots of sketchy folk hanging around outside. If you mind the noise, request a room that is as far from it as possible. Bed was comfy. Close to all shops and restaurants. It is what it is!

Sub-par hotel in a noisy but convenient location for entertainment. Small, somewhat dingy rooms with rattling elevator and ongoing construction. Decent enough for the price but overall unimpressive.

Everything is quite ok, but it's above a nightclub, really noisy in the weekends. Also, don't expect a fridge or a breakfast included, but for the price and downtown Vancouver it's still a good deal. And the pub is a really good one.

This hotel is quite frankly one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at due in part to the staff. I've stayed here before and they were very courteous, caring, and made sure we were comfortable when we visited. They even remembered me from my past visit. I've recommended them to my friends in the past and they all say the same thing about the staff. My friends and myself will continue to do business with them, thanks Ramada.
Room Tip: Get a room facing the street, good view.

Unfortunatly my stay wasnt good at all.

Unfortunatly my stay wasnt good at all.
We stayed in vancouver on grandville.
After parking we walked in and had to wait for the personal to finish a privat coservation..after about 15 min we had our key and where ready to go up to the room..sadly we opend the door and there was a pair of old gentalmen on the bed watching tv relaxing, but we didnt know them haha they where just as surprised at us as we where at them.
Still laughing we went back down and told them about the mistake..after about 25min and the personal getting mad at each other we finaly got our key.
The rest of the stay was ok our room was right above a night club but that didnt bother us.
We got home after our trip and i noticed i forgot my luxury watch in the room, this is where my acuall bad experience starts,i called them and had a unmotivadet young men on the other line,he sad hello ramada on grandville and i sad my bame and problem, just to find out that he had a second conversation that seamed to be funny because i wasnt payed any attention to.
After a moment of listing talk in a different language he welcomed me again and i again explained what was wrong.
We tryed finding my booking but couldnt find it even though i had my booking number, roomnumber i stayed in,name and any other info he ask for he still could help me without the booking he sad.
Next he put me on a 20min hold and welcomed me a third time with hello ramada on gratville, confused i told him my name again.
He answered me surprised that i was still waiting on the line, told me to call in the morning when the cleaning personal is in and that he has no way of helping me. I ask for his supervisor but he wasnt available.his name was chris last name he did not wanna give me.
Unfortunatly noone has seen the watch or has ever called me back.
I am very sad about this poor service and my material lost.
Thanks.

I can overlook the smallness of the rooms and the faint sound of the night club below. I can't overlook the dirty shower curtain, the backed up bathtub drain, the failure to accurately book the room we asked for.

I thought the room was beyond what I expected, and I loved my window view of the alley. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is an amazing spot because one can access lots of restaurants, bars, dance clubs, shopping, and etc. I will definetely be staying here again. The service team was also on point!

We got a square room with a king size bed. That left about 4 feet from the edge of the bed to the wall on all three sides. The bed hindered access to the closet.
I was woken up early every morning to the sound of garbage pick up out back. The mattress was not as comfortable as I tried to sleep past the garbage pick up noise and I ended getting up at 7am. The bathroom was a good size, bright and CLEAN!!!! What a difference that can make. Parking is at the side, $18.00 per day and they move your car to underground at night.
There are plenty of homeless in the area asking for change and one had followed my us to the car and was persistent asking for change which I said repeatedly said no. Lesson learned, do not stand by your vehicle rejecting requests for money as someone snotted the gas cap while it was parked from 4pm to 5:30pm.
Good staff, must point out Mrs. S at the counter for being very nice and cheerful. Full points for her as I observed her cheerfulness dealing with other customers and talking with co-workers while I was sitting at the front area.

One star is generous.

One star is generous.
Rude staff
Dirty room
Terrible services
Terrible location
The breakfast voucher is a joke. It s basically a voucher for a place that teamed up with the hotel to provide an opportunity to sell something other than beer.

Granville is the dirty party portion of Vancouver. Unless you are strapped for funds don t stay here. Go up the road to the Chateau Granville.

They couldn't remember where they parked our car and other misunderstanings with the receptionist due to her bad Enlgish. You shouldn't put people who are learning Enlgish at a hotel reception.

Next to the hotel there is a bar or nightclub apparently. We couldn't sleep cause of the loud music all night long. If you know this, you should warn your hosts and maybe foresee earplugs next to the beds.

Very poor service, worst hotel on our trip to Albera and B.C.

Take an Airbnb instead. There s multiple hidden fees. Car parking fee. 25CAD per day. Down of 100 and it s nonrefundable. The rooms are really small. We re in the suit for 5 people that look like can only fit 2. It s NOT worth it. Take an Airbnb instead.
