I stayed at the Ramada for one night. Tidy and clean, receptionist are very nice and helpful. Very central, you have many options for dining close by.
It was a Saturday night and there were many young people noisy after party so you might want to check the floor with the receptionist.
Internet is very good but not for my colleague on the 5th floor. I was on the 1st floor.

From the moment I arrive at this hotel, I already received a bad service. I had two large baggage and 3 other small bags. I had to haul all the bags from out of the uber, onto the hotel trolley, and up to my room, all on my own. No hotel staff offered to help me at all. When checking out, I asked for staff to bring my bags downstairs and the receptionist said that there's only one staff currently working for the whole hotel! So no one can help me. So I had to bring all my bags down to the hall again. Unbelievable.
The bathroom is dirty. The bathtub is absolutely clogged! The water in the bathtub cannot be drained at all. I find a long nasty fingernail on the bed under the sheets.
Bad customer service and dirty.
Avoid staying at this hotel.

Overall a great place. Decently clean, though it is very obvious the place is very old. Things in the hotel are well used, but clean none the less. Staff are lovely and well informed of the area.

VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE!!
there are 3 night clubs surrounding it, although it is not the hotels fault, it should be warned that on Friday and Saturday nights it gets really loud. We were given a quieter room, but you can still hear it. Recommended to request a quiet room if this concerns you.

This is my choice Hotel when I visit Vancouver. One time I dealt with a very rude manager here, but other then that good experiences and I have shown up and gotten last minute deals here a couple times because of the "noise" from a club next door. I always stay out late and never heard a peep. Great hotel

I will say, the hotel itself is old and smells a bit off, but that being said it wouldn t change me going back again. I would 100 percent return due to how incredible the staff was. I was extremely comfortable and they are very caring. 10/10 for spectacular customer service.

Awful customer service and especially the manager there called SAM. He is so rude and so unaccommodating. Worst experience ever. Been booking hotels all my life and never had such an issue. especially on Christmas day.

My apendix ruptured while I was sleeping, I was rushed to hospital. When u returned to collect my things. The hotel staff had stolen 120 dollars. Out of my wallet and billed me 250$ for smoking in my room they even told me they could smell cigarettes and found smoke buts in my room. I don't smoke. Liars and thieves. I will never stay at a SCUMATTAA HOTEL AGAIN.

It's not a bad hotel for one night. It's quite small though and if you open the window you can see through to someone's room. A little bit weird but that's fine. The elevator is shakes when it moves. Otherwise it's a decent hotel.. a bit expensive. The nice thing I can say is the area. Lots of clubs and lots of breakfast places to go to.

This was the worst Hotel experience i've ever had in my life. We bought a deal through Living Social. It included a voucher to the restaurant. When we checked into the hotel the staff at the front desk has absolutely no manners. Speaking to one person whom just walked away in the middle of our checking in leaving us just standing there. The second person who assisted us took half an hour to get us checked into the hotel and our room. When we arrived back later in the evening after going out, the room was so loud with music pounding all around we weren't even able to sleep. We were not informed of check out times so we assumed it would be noon like most other hotels. When going down to the front desk we were informed our food voucher is no longer valid as the restaurant has stopped serving food and that we would not be able to use it. The next day we realized as well that we left behind a phone charger and a gift card Christmas present. House keeping tells us that nothing was found or left in the room at all. The staff are completely rude, unhelpful and certainly not trained in customer service etiquette.

Our family room was small but ok. Hotel decor looks tired. However the area has many street people who appear spaced out. We even passed someone in the process of shooting up as we returned to the hotel in the early evening with our children

The hotel was under construction when I went and it was small but good. The rooms where a little small but had good beds. Though it only had a view of the back of another building and the restaurant/pub that you ould get free breakfast from was quite bad. The food was just ok but the inside looked really bad and beaten down. And you only got an option of three food plates for breakfast.

The biggest redeeming feature of this hotel is its staff. They were on both visits, the most friendly, polite nicest staff members that I think I have seen in a hotel for a long time, Thanks Ramada Inn Suites in Downtown Vancouver.

Rooms are small for a 1 bed room but I'm not too concerned for such a short stay. I was surprised there was no fridge. The bed was comfy but the pillows were too round and firm for me. We left for a day and when we got back our room was still not done but I understand some days it's busy and rooms sometimes don't get reached until late afternoon. We dropped our car keys off at front desk but when we got them back after checking out my husband noticed one of his keychains was missing. He didn't feel like asking what happened. I did like how close it was to other fun stuff in town.

The building is over 100 yrs old so you have to find the right room in order to have a decent stay. If you're sensitive to the sound of people walking above you, get a room on the top floor. If you go to bed early, stay on the back side and away from the club/street noice (yes, there are two bars on either side and they are essentially attached). If you're going to party and will be up later and/or don't mind the yelling, honking and bass thumping (Fri & Sat only), stay on the front side and enjoy the street entertainment/views. Bonus; the staff are all super cool and helpful, the location is great and very central. Overall a good experience, especially after a little adjustment by management to find the right room.

Very loud club music until well after 3 in the morning. Rooms were old, small, and creaky. And the lady at the front desk was short with the guests and not very knowledgeable. I would not stay here again

Clean and comfortable but soundproofing left a little to be desired. We had no fridge to chill some wine so had to use a plastic container and paper cup. The staff were fantastic, very polite and obliging.

It was OK, not more not less. From my perspective a little bid to expensive. On the other hand if you want to stay in downtown and if you are looking for some fun than this place is safe.

I stayed in during Christmas week;

Overall: I wish i would have gotten a higher level, I would have enjoyed the stay. I believe overall the rooms were great. Cozy. Close to stores and restaurants walking distance, busy streets, not too lonely. Maybe id stay again IF i was able to choose a higher level.

Positives: Check in are nice staff, room +deposit +parking fee, they take your keys for the night, give kids treat bags, elevator fits 5 ppl at once (Cozy), smells clean and fresh. Bedrooms are very nice, cozy, living room on other side of bedroom, small but perfect for 5 people (2 bed rooms). They went right away when i complained on loud neighbors too.

Negatives: NOISY BARS/STREET. If you are on the lower levels, next their main street/entrance, there are bars around and people are outside until at least 4 am and music doesn't get turned off until 3 am. Maybe if you are way higher (than the 2nd floor) you will be OK and not hear anything going on outside.
Parking/entrance was hard to find, had to go around the apple before I saw a small sketchy alley entrance on a lateral street, which landed me on the 20 parking spaces for Ramada.. I thought it was odd they take your keys for the night and I assume they moved them to the car garage for the night. 10 minutes to get your car if you need it

The staff is excellent and they do their job well. The building itself, that's a different story. The bed sheets had stains on them when I first checked in, the hallways smelled of urine, and my door wouldn't shut properly to name a few of the things. Staff took it in stride and was pleasant and understanding when dealing with my issues

If you're a light sleeper, don't get a second floor room on the weekends- there are multiple clubs around and the constant beat of the bass can bother some. Great location right on the edge of the entertainment district, lots of places to shop and eat. Didn't get to try their on-site restaurant so can't say if it's good, but overall a good room for your money.

This place is literally just under the sky needle tower in Seattle. Perfect location for city access. The staff were amazing, the room was huge with a separate lounge. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot. The whole place was very clean and very well presented.

Whoever runs this hotel needs to be sacked! They canceled our booking and after a 14 hour flight and had to sit around waiting for them to sort something out. We ended up having to pay again for 2 nights! Then after being treated like total trash and talked down to we had the booking site fix the issue. We where then told we would get our 2 nights we paided back in 5-15 days and had to pay two, $100 holding deposit! It has now been almost 30 days and they are acting like they don t know what is going on, luckily the other amazing hotels we stayed at mad up for this mess! But if I could give this place no stars I would.

THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST PLACES IVE STAYED AT IN MY LIFE!

Great hotel. The actual room is nice, its clean, has everything you need, stove, oven, microwave, there are extra blankets and pillows in the closet, 2 TVs, and a large couch. And I got a regular room with 1 bed, and they have very friendly staff! It's very close to downtown and you can just walk EVERYWHERE. Super easy to walk out and get some food. I recomend Frits European Fry Houses Poutine for those international travelers, its french fries with cheese and gravy, you can add other toppings. You also get a great view of the city! Reasonable prices as well. Definitely reccomend this hotel!

We stayed here for a night and my car has been broken into at the hotel s parking lot; the hotel charged us $20 for parking fee and also the only fee that was reversed when my car was broken into, no other form of compensation of some sort or any help for cost of repair. It costs me around $800 to repair a 2018 Car. So if anyone is planning to book a hotel, u might have to think twice on choosing this hotel, the parking lot is not safe & if anything happen to your car at the hotel s parking lot- please don t expect them to help you in any form of compensation. Despite the effort of One of the managers who atleast showed her concern & tried to help me but then she has less authority to atleast discount the room charge and she couldn t do anything at all and the ones higher didn t reach out to me even though how many times i tried to get in touch with them, but always get this message from front desk staff i m so sorry sir but they are on a meeting right now . A lot of frustrations i felt & the inconvenience of having a broken car & yet atleast a sorry from the upper management was never received. I know this thing may also happen to anyone, this experience may have been better if the management atleast reach out to me. One of the staff also told me that this wasn t the first time that a car has been broken into at the hotel s parking lot, and yet what could have been done better to prevent this incident from happening? This experience had lost my confidence in staying at Any Ramada hotels worldwide, not just me, my friends & family too.

Good location, decent prices. But we were not notified of the construction happening inside before booking, our bedding was damp when we arrived AND our towels had the most sour smell. I would probably stay at Pender Street location rather than Granville again.

No one said this place is next door to a club that rages until the early morning.. the lobby entry was full of huddling drunk pot smoking teens waiting to get back into the club. What a joke! Good location though and cheap, but this is a you get what you pay for situation

The room was fine, but modest and dated. The front desk staff were rude and intrusive. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone unless they don't plan on sleeping. The noise from the club three stories down was extremely loud and the area the hotel was located in was really scummy, especially at night.

Leaky old shower that makes noise all night. $20 a night for parking. Not in a very good area and was kept awake by screaming. Would not stay here again. Would have a better and cheaper experience in a hostel.

Just want to sleep but the room won't stop shaking from the clubs base. Annoying to say the least. Also the elevator is ready to be retired not uncommon to open the door to see people standing inside pressing buttons with nothing happening.
