Splendid!!!!! A beautiful beach resort with truly warm hospitality, comfortable rooms, great food and wonderfully maintained premises!! The staff is so courteous and forthcoming, we were made to feel special at all times!! The buffet spread is one of the finest I have seen and the bars located at the reception, in the pool and at the beach add to the delight!! One can hear the sound of the waves from the room balcony, that's how far the beach is!! And a really clean beach!
The activity center for kids deserves a special mention, my daughter really enjoyed all activities!
There's a huge golf course, spa and gym too!
We would love to go back to caravela, totally recommended!!

Very good place. Situated right on the beach. Food quality and service very good.

The resort requires a serious makeover and pretty soon. The beach is good but there are atleast 20 dogs loitering around and no one to take care of it. Infact you can see the dogs roaming inside the resort as well. The staff makes up for the drawbacks and they need a thumbs up for it. It is not a 5 star but and 4 star. Food is average. Room decor is pathetic.

Great location - right on Varca Beach - which is clean & not crowded. The resort is itself clean, lush greenery all around, good facilities, courteous staff and value for money. I had a great time.

This one is a hidden gem in South Goa. If you are looking for relaxed vacation this is the right place. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. They arrange everything from airport transfers to sightseeing at your request. The access to beach is only for the people staying in the resort which keeps the beach less crowded and clean. They also have different restaurants and cuisines for all kinds of taste buds accompanied with live performances to add in to the beautiful atmosphere.
Also one thing to note that most of the activities were closed due to covid. Overall had a wonderful experience at Caravela.

Nice place to stay. 24 acres land. Nice n clean private beach. 4 stage swimming pool. 5.9ft depth pool you never saw such depth now a days. First I visited with family for holidays. Impressed with the service. Later year scheduled review meeting for company & it was enjoyed by all staff. Do visit n in activities in activity centre. Mr Yugvender n his team is fabulous. Enjoyed housie.

Beautiful resort property in South Goa. Service is good, rooms are great and the beach is walking distance. Make sure that you plan your vacation between November to May as most places in Goa are shut in off season.

Beautiful resort with a massive garden & lawn all located on the beach front.
Well staffed with prompt room service.
Large, well maintained rooms and toilets.
Buffet breakfast was superb with very attentive servers and chefs. They seem to all exude enthusiasm and positive energy.
The spread and variety of food was just terrific. They bake in house an awesome selection of breads like baguettes ciabatta croissants and poi. Live counters for dosa, paratha, Puri eggs were manned well with special attention to what the guest wanted.
Pool is big with a nice poolside bar. The bartenders too are very friendly and will strike up a wonderful conversation and give you generous inputs on places to see and things to do.
Lunch and dinner buffets were mind blowing and delicious; accompanied by very talented entertainers playing soulful music.
Asian restaurant is nice.
They have their own beach shack serving very good barbeques.

Just one irritation. We had come for some family time and a peaceful holiday. There was a wedding sangeet function on the last night of our stay. They were playing remixed dj music at an unacceptably high volume. The speakers were facing our rooms. The bass was so powerful that our room glasses were rattling. I complained to the General Manager who did take effort to send someone to check. He got them to lower the volume but it was still very uncomfortable.
Our candle light dinner at their beach shack restaurant was ruined because of the unbearably loud music.

What a place it was,good place to stay,with good food and service

Courteous staff, Convenient arrangements, Great support for Nanny...with small children this arrangement is a boon.

Very slow and non couterous staff, despite waiting for 2 hrs for check in, the room was nothing expectional as advertised. It was an average room, with a basic tv , with a remote which had to be hit to change the channels. Slow staff who take 25 mins to make a masala peanut, over 40 mins to give wifi code. There is no network around the area if you are using Airtel or Vodafone, and not lobby WiFi when waiting. Not a stunning hotel by any means. Most importantly, Caravala is not at all well connected to the city and it takes hours to visit places in South Goa. Not recommended.

First it was a five star true to its name. Very beautiful swimming pool and connectivity to Varca beach was the highlight. We had pool facing deluxe room and the balcony on the ground floor connected to the pool. We were traveling with our 5 month old and what did trouble us was no lift for the daily up and down. The paths are not stroller friendly. And we did have a problem with the bfst and dinner buffets regarding which i had a word with the chef and he was very receptive. Also the room was located beautifully but was rather small with old fittings and the door handle to our rooms was slightly broken. The checkin was smooth bit checkout was tedious and i had to carry the bags myself (with 1 bellboy) as most staff was was busy with a wedding checkin. All in all a satisfactory stay but could have been better. Live music at buffets was excellent. Island pool bar was perfect. Do buy buffet coupons at checkin for amazing discount

My stay was really gud sinceit is one of the oldest properties in South goa the property is real historical shows goan architecture and the rooms are quite gud we got pool view rooms the rooms were quite simple but spacious. But the food was kind of average though since it is available in a buffet ( breakfast only) the options are quite great and u will surely find something to your taste

Are you in Goa ? This is the only resort you have missed. Try and book it and see the difference. I love it.

It's a nice star property.. Lots of rooms.. good staff and service as well.
there are lots of good reviews already. so I will just note some of the points I felt needs improvement.
The naming of rooms are confusing and no clear description of the rooms. so we might end up choosing a wrong room by paying more in most cases..
The place has no elevators anywhere.. please note this while booking rooms in top floors..
Half the rooms have twin beds. Even though we mentioned this during booking we were still given a twin bed bedroom.
The property is definitely next to the sea.. but its a decent long walk from room to beach..
They are charging incidental charges during checkin of 3k.. somehow was not comfortable with it.. The complete cost of the room is already taken at checkin and then extra incidentals as well.. so wasn't very happy with those costs.
Its a nice place.. but these need to be ironed out..

Beautiful, clean and well-kept hotel. Spacious and very beautiful garden, beautiful private beach, friendly and courteous staff. Food failed and varied. If you are looking for an oasis of peace, this is the place for you.

Superb Location, Good food, Great interiors coupled with good service and attention to detail is the hallmark of this wonderful place in Varca, Goa. The entire resort is very well maintained. Had a memorable stay there.

Pros - Great location, Beautiful beach, Amazing service especially for people with kids and elders, Food was lip smacking.

Great property with a mini-golf course and a private beach. Lots of activities for kids. Staff needs training though to serve at 5-star standards.

The wi-fi was too slow, and they booked the hotel for some gujrati couple, so the breakfast was very crowded. The staff was good, but they were busy attending the gujrati family.

It is a sprawling 27 acre property & needs you to walk a lot for getting from 1 place to another. Staff is courteous & polite. It is a bit away from the market & also transportation can be a bit of a problem & what options available outside the resort property are a bit expensive be it taxis or two wheelers as there is little competition for them. You would be better off making bookings beforehand. The hotel beach is beautiful and clean.

A place to completely relax oneself....the best place I have visited....
Whole afternoon be at its private beach or swimming pool and evening time enjoy teh cool breeze at beach or golf field and relax yourself

Stayed for 4 nights includes buffet breakfast. Really a nice hotel to stay. Cleanliness good but food is average and costly better try in near by good restaurants. Need improvement in their breakfast not as good and tasty.
Minibar kept in the room is very limited.
It has a huge area to hang out means the entire property has 23 acres and they maintained well. But wherever you go securities will ask you about the room no :).
Private Beach's are well maintained and has safe guards for our safety.
For our last day they didn't clean the room until we checkout.
For our entire stay really felt like in home.

Golf resort nestled in peace and tranquility with its private beach, quite serene for city dwellers. Service is fantastic. Opt for superior room (lower category) instead of deluxe and don't fall for upgraded room. Superior rooms are bigger and have better view with quick access to breakfast and sports like tennis, badminton.... In deluxe, if you get ground floor rooms would still be better for its access sprawling lawn. Do book in advance for better deal, its own website has at times better rates than MMT etc. If with kids, do carry kite, golf kit, football, badminton or tennis racquet, kids will have gala time here specially if same age company.

Is situated at the beach. Nice and clean beach also the amenities are good and staff is courtes. Only thing is that it is far from the city and transportation is difficult to get from here

Great Beach and excellent Garden and Golf area are the only thing you are going to like here. Rest all has one or other problem. If you are Indian and going to stay here by any chance then please ask for new wing as that only has Jet Sprey and none other as according to their staff they mostly get international visitors.

Food spread is very ok, very 3* kind as per Indian standards. One can order food, that for a change was good. Most area had mosquito or stinking smell or both. Not enough signals of wifi nor mobile network which is big worry.

Try to avoid if you are going there with family.

Caravela Beach Resort is famous for its private and clean beaches in Goa. Its isolated so food and travel needs some upgrade, however ambience, rooms and view is amaizing feel like you are in some different world.

Very nice stay for 4 days. Big thanks to the security and housekeeping staff. They are very cordial and helpfull staff. Especially the house keeping staff is excellent. Minguel and Saniya and Shashank need a special mention.

Caravela beach resort is gigantic property in South Goa. The beach is beautiful and it s perfect for family. It has a well-maintained swimming pool and also comes with a golf course. Rooms are decent and needs improvement. The highlight of the property is there staff. Everyone is gracious and friendly. Two people stood out in my six days stay were Riya ( from dinning hall) and Eden from Reception. Both were extremely helpful and very pleasant to talk to. They went out of there way to help us with anything we needed. I would also like to mention Chandni who helped us with transportation. Overall this is an awesome resort to live in with family. For the package deal which includes breakfast lunch and dinner and your life will be sorted. Yum food, excellent location and chill vibes. That is what Caravela Beach Resort is about

Stay at caravela Beach Resort was amazing. Room service was very prompt. I booked garden view room and it's nice for a couple. I suggest to avoid pool facing rooms as you won't get enough privacy for balcony.

Carvela Beach Resort is one of the finest resort situated in South Goa. It is beach side resort with private beach. Resort is having very good swimming pool. It has basically there types of room garden view, ocean view And suites. It has beach side bar and restaurant. Also having facility to take sun bath. Water activities are near by to beach and hotel is also arranging different activities.

Resort maintenance is super but, I lost my belongings in room and no one is responding properly
