Surrounding is very clean and has excellent ambience. Food quality is very good . Coming here is completely worth..!!!

Nice resort in outskirts of Goa. Resort has its own private beach which is very clean.

We stayed at Caravela for four days. Beautiful sprawling beach resort. Excellent rooms and pleasant mannered service providers. Buffets were offering both Local and Continental varieties of delicious food and enjoyable table service. The food offered was delicious and we enjoyed it. The beach though public, was mostly less crowded. But beware of stray dogs, they are plenty. Overall our stay was very enjoyable and I have no hesitation to give a five star rating.

The hotel is fine and has good beach but they seriously need to improve their customer comfort game. My check in took 1 hour and further i got room which i had not booked. Then the wifi of the hotel is very bad.
Best part is their hospitality team who arranged a nice decor for my wife's birthday. Sweet guys.

Beautiful resort and location. Its right on a beautiful white sand and its private for the guests. Swimming pool is also huge and has been designed well for small kids too. Rooms are of decent size and housekeeping is excellent. Staff is very courteous and ready to help you. Food is another specialty of this resort with wide variety of menu options.
Only downside is, that its an old resort. Rooms, washrooms and hallways seems not so modern. Also they provide WiFi for only one device which was awkward in times when wifi is free at even railway stations.

Overall a great experience to stay in this resort.

Extremely mediocre place, service and food. Just not worth the price. The location is nice but there are plenty of better places that give you a much better experience.

Not everything perfect, but this is more than made up for by friendly staff and a fantastic location. Excellent Indian food, my room was very clean (was short to bridge in a villa, where the bathroom was rather shabby), pools tipptopp.

The hotel was good and the Rooms are very good . We also went to occasion we also asked them for a cake from 6:30 we went to the beach and told them to bring the cake they took like an hour to give us the cake and they we ordered pastry than we did eat with eat it. Than the Chef the came to tell that the cake was coming and just because of this i am giving it a 3stars otherwise it is great

Golden beaches amazing place although the service is unfortunate for the 5-star standards are VERY heavy to go to the beach they ask you The room number to leave also please if you go to the beach with their towels in their hand

Fabulous property, great service and tasty food. Housekeeping staff UMESH made the stay memorable by ensuring attention to details.

Yet I feel, rooms now needs an uplift. Toilet flush, knob, sparys have got old and leaky, yet there is no quality check process. (Room 176)

Bathroom still has a bathtub that's now a outdated fitting and pretty inconvenient to climb up and bath.

WADWANIS, it's time to renovate. I visited Holiday Inn post Caravela and rooms are plusher, bigger and offers much greater value (luxury) for money. I'd anyday recommend Holiday Inn to fellow travellers.

But like said earlier, Caravela not bad either.

Their service, food, staff, rooms, hygiene checks all are superb!

We couldn t stay here for long but came back with a promise to visit this place again!

Location is perfect if you don t want too many people around you and ate there to enjoy the beach and the sun.

The private beach area has a private shack as well which serves yum food and they have good sun beds and towels are provided on the beach area itself.

Once the sun goes down, you can goto their swimming pool area which surprisingly is very deep and is heated so just get soaked in water again.

Their is golf area in the resort and their spa is awesome too!

If I am not mistaken, they have 2-3 eating joints within the property which serves great food and beverages- completely your choice if you wanna step out of the property for food.

Overall, a great property in Colva Beach ( which itself is a very quite area ; as compared to north goa)

The resort is located about an hour from Dabolim airport right on the Varca Beach. The location is lovely, it is a huge property with big lawns, huge pool and has a private entry to the Varca beach.
I had a mixed experience and following are my Pros and Cons of selecting this hotel;

Pros:
* Lovely huge place with beach within 5 mins reach [private entry] and the beach is clean and really feels like a private beach
* The buffet expanse for breakfast, lunch and dinner was huge with good variety and loads of options

Cons
* The hotel staff needs training so that they know what all is present in the Hotel. Anytime you ask them of any place or any activity, they are not sure and you would end up asking 3-4 people before you actually reach where you need to.
* Since it is a big hotel with different individuals handling different departments, you are directed to ten different people for the smallest of query!
I had got a packed lunch included in my package on the day I was leaving. Reminding this to the staff needed me to speak to about 4 different people in the night and 3 others in the morning. After which I lost my cool and literally screamed on the Guest Relations Manager who assured to look at the issue. Later I received a call from the dining informing me that they were not aware of my changed departure time and hence they had not readied my lunch. Inspite of following up with about 9 people in total since prior night, I ended up not getting the packaged lunch.

While the overall stay was pleasant, some of these issues left a bitter taste. I have had great service been provided by 3 star hotels in the past so expected a lot better customer service from a 5 star hotel like Caravela.

Very relaxing and comfortable stay. Beach was very clean and just 100 m from my room, all facilities where given nicely.A bit slow room service at times.

If u wanna stay with joy and happy ness then its a one roof show.....

From the AIRPORT to CARAVELLA yes there is a distance.. But once u reach the place u forgot about all your past journey...

No doubt in space and quality using from the front of the Resort.....

The best part is they have SEE VIEW... And u will find Outside of INDIA TOURIST always walking there and staying around you...

Open food zone is also there in just to SEE..

BAR is available...
Even after enjoy in SEE u can enjoy the open bath as well..

Not very costly but u will feel the LUXURY in this amount...

Surrounding is also good...

If u wanna travel the car and the bikes are also available in rent.....

Must walk in evening outside the hotel..

And have a look on the architecture of the local people, way they designed there HOUSES in small area is always applicable...

Just next to a local shop of AMMA ji..

Her local food is also like kamaalllllll..

It's a nice hotel with a great view but it lacks some infrastructure that other hotels have and located fatrade Goa

Lovely hotel. Very spacious and beautiful clean very long beach. Rooms are standard but clean and comfortable. 9 hole golf course is a bonus. Breakfast is a very good spread and a la carte dinner is good as well with a wide choice but not as good as the Taj Exotica. Much better than a lot of other hotels in the region. Busy hotel with lots of weddings to make it interesting with a variety of guests. Bottled water included. Good service for disabled people. Bit far away from the airport but worth the extra mileage.

We stayed at same property about 14 Year back and chosen once again the same for our next Vacation. Mine last experience was awesome due we received VIP treatment from entire staff and the food was Excellent. The |property is definitely Heaven on Earth and the Hospitality & Ambiance is beyond your Expectation.
We have booked in coming JAN 2018 and contacted Hotel for few add on and received there response so Quickly to welcome our stay to make our stay even more comfortable. There courtesy is extremely obliged. I do recommend the other Guest to stop there Search on this resort and you will feel value worth for your penny.

It's imagine.I went 12 time to Goa but this resort is Amazing.

Beautiful 5 star resort with all amenties. The private beach is awesome...you don't feel like going out of resort for anything..they have maintained all the covid protocols. We will definitely go again in special ocassions.

Comfortable stay at a very spacious and green resort. Stayed 4 nights. Caring & courteous staff. Good amenities. A very clean private beach. Safe for small children. Beautiful sunsets. Average food. Excellent room service.

Excellent resort, however the rooms corridor can be more soundproof as the voices gets inside and can be very disturbing in night.

Caravela Beach resort situated in the pristine white sand Varca beach is a perfect holiday destination for a young family travelling with kids. The guys there will literally tell you that infants/kids are there special guests.

Location: CBR is a sprawling 20+ Acre property situated in the middle of South Goa. The best way to commute there is to book a Hotel or private Cab, not many public transport options on this route. The place is virtually less than one hour away from all major attractions in South Goa. (Palolem, Mudgaon, Cavelossm etc)

Beach: Varca beach is a white sand beach with water sports activities and descent shacks serving sumptuous sea food, the waves are easy, water is clean and no dangerous sea life to be cautious of.

Property:
Pool-Free flowing pool with separate section for Kids and adults, the adult pool has a depth of 6 ft which you normally don't find in hotels and was a welcome change, makes swimming fun.

Kids Activity center-Full of toys and stuff, major kid related activities here throughout the day, most of them free like towel art, paper quilling, color painting etc...

Other Activities- Yoga in the morning, Golf all day(Paid), Confectionery classes.

Food Options
Lanai Cafe-Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner Buffets multi cuisine, was there for 3 days and I saw different menu for all 3days. Good taste and presentation is great, Chefs and staff will take special care of Kid food and any other requirement that you have. Wonderful service at this restaurant.

Carneval Pan Asian restaurant- If Asian food is your thing then head here, tomato eating doesn't do it justice, I think this was the beat Asian food in South Goa.

Sunset Beach Hut- Fresh sea catch served here, perfect for a evening bust. I specially adored the Goan style spicy Calamari here.

Castaway Pool side eatery- The only place at the resort with Pizza, but once again insanely tasty.

Drink Options:
Atrium Bar-Situated in the lobby area, right when you check-in during my stay here this had happy hours 1200 Hrs to 1800 Hrs

Island Bar- Situated in the middle of the pool, take a seat on the elevated platform inside the pool and guzzle up your favourite cocktails here, sadly no happy hours here :)

Sunset shack- perfect for a soothing beverage to accompany the evening sunset or night time sea breeze.

Nearby things:
1. 2 wheeler can easily hire just outside the property.
2. Taxi stand just outside the property.
3. For car rentals need to head to Mudgaon.
4. Awesome restaurants nearby- Fisherman's Wharf, Martin's Corner.
5. Was there during Carnival festival had a great time at Carnival night theme dinner.

Property is huge. Staff is polite. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Its a beach property and excellent for beach weddings or anniversary parties at the beach. Golf course is huge but hardly u vl see anyone using it. Ayurvedic spa services provided at a basic price and a must try(trust me). Dont book for more than 2 to 3 days because you will get extremely bored. In room dining is very expensive and has very few options.

Excellent service. From the front desk, room service, in the restaurant, at the bar. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The food is very rich and there is something for every taste.

Especially Gautam Mariyo and Kandan Dev are a great team

We travelled first time with our 10 month old baby, and it was so perfect staying at this lovely resort, restaurant manager was very much concerned about our baby food ,and made chef to make food exactly what my baby needs. Everyone in resort were having smiling faces and they all were greeting my Lil baby. Beautiful property with great service. Bedding was comfortable.Room service awesome.Private beach access.Cleanliness & tidiness great.Baby friendly resort.Only cons :which was major I think because management arranged bus for our airport drop which was not appreciated at all, as we have small baby with us, bus was not comfortable at all it was jerking so much that made my baby cranky. Else I would have given 5 star. Management should look after this matter.Took American Plan

One of the best Resort in goa ! Very Big Property you can easily spend your 4 days in this single location only. Big garden, Big Pool and the best is beach property, This resort have back gate connected to Beach which is mor or less private beach with very less crowded ! Everything is perfect food, the housekeeping, etc.

Amazing Stay with Direct Access to Beach

Stayed here for a night - the whole property is pretty huge and beautiful especially the Lobby Buildings. The Staff are extremely friendly and courteous especially the person Tanvi who helped us with check-in and offered a late check out to meet our needs.

Top notch sanitization is done here which gives you confidence. The buffet spread is amazing , huge and tastes great living up to the expectations of a 5-star resort. Truly worth the money paid.

You can have a dedicated access to the beach (which is not private though) which is secluded, clean and pristine. You can have nearby private shacks which can provide candle lit dinner on the beach (literally).

Overall an amazing stay worthy of your time and money.

P.S: This place is pretty interior from the nearby town Varca hence mobile tower is spotty and you need to rely on hotel wifi. Also you would need to depend on resort taxi services for your commute who will charge a premium.

Our experience of stay at caravela resort was fabulous. Mr. UJJAL HOR the assistant manager of food and beverages ,was so caring and he had a great sense of hospitality. Such persons are the asset of property.The overall experience was very nice and we also recommend in our friend circle to stay in the said resort.

To be able to sit and relax by the pool worry free is so nice defiantly coming back here in the future.

Nice place for relaxing with family. Beach and beach activity is add on! One can enjoy with friends far away from daily rush. Yoga and meditation is cherry on the top.

Very well managed beach with a cleanshack restaurant serves quality food, beach beds,volley ball net , football net and cycles to ride on the beach.
