I had visited this resort with family..one of the excellent resorts..right from the time you get the hotel cab...to check-in..process is seamless and staff are very accommodating.I had visited both Zuri and Caravela I would rate Caravela..10 times better then Zuri in case there is any confusion for someone to decide.
The spread and quality of food was awesome ..very courteous staff.
Chef Jesuraj,Puri,Birendra...and team you rock.. Certainly we remember the scenic property..but we will never forget the delicious food

It was the best experience to visit caravela beach resort

The only thing worth any star is property. Caravela is a very Beautiful and Vast resort with private beach and Golf course but that's it. What they lack is hospitality. Staff is very rude and impolite. We had to wait for more than half hour just for someone attended us for check-in. Reception were not ready to help us with check-in.

In one incident our room key was disabled and we had to approach 4 housekeeping staff but no-one was in mood to help, they didn't even bothered to inform front desk.

Travel desk is only travel desk not a travel "help"desk because obviously they can't help with anything. It seems that they have tie up with taxi mafia outside the hotel. Taxi would cost you anything far from reasonable and hotel staff will force you to use outside taxi only.

Last but not the least, they have review system at checkout but the staff will not allow negative review. During checkout, the staff had literlly snatched tablet from my wife's hand because she was giving negative reviews in the form. She didn't even let us complete the form.

Very nice property, food is nice, staff is good, hotel is in south goa which is far from fun part of goa, so this is good for only relax, beach is personal and awsome, good swimming pool, taxi charges are extra.

Very beautiful and big campus !!! It has 5 restraunts with great food!!!a swim up bar in the swimming pool.beach is just 500 metres from rooms .I enjoyed my stay a lot !!I also has a 9 hole golf course and activities like PS 4 for kids ...a tennis court and badminton court is also present..there are shacks near the beach like sea pearls ...there are water sports also .. (ps:i was the one who put this place back on the map)

Being a regular visitor to Goa - twice a year, I was pleasantly surprised to visit this place for the first time. The view is amazing, the people are super friendly - Lusanna (guest relations), Sanjay, Pratik, Monika, Deepak, the cooks at the Eggs Station at the restaurant and many, many more who I interacted with but couldn't get their names. The pools were nice and clean with very clear markings, the beach was one of the cleanest that I have seen in Goa or elsewhere that I have travelled (e.g. Bali). I for one had a difficult time trying to make up my mind on what to try - visit the beach, or swim or just relax.
The buffet spread was the most sumptuous one that I have ever seen.
You guys at Caravela Beach Resort have set a new standard for hospitality - keep it up guys and hope to see you soon.

Awesome place with generous and really very courteous staff.
Important is my 4yr kiddo was super happy as many of the staff members gave their precious time to entertain him with playing football, throw ball, swimming and most importantly at the time of dinner"the magic show... awesome and great".

Was in the resort in Sept 2017, room is ok, beach is clean and a bit walk but food is pathetic. It looked like chilli festival in buffet every day, no taste and no option for kids. Restaurant staff had issues on taking food to room for infant, felt awkward asking about it after first time. The resort has detoriated significantly in last few years, not worth the high price it charges.

Relaxed atmosphere, close to the beach and nice people.

The money you spent is for the location itself. Rest all are just add-in. Must visit. Service is below par at times.

Excellent place to spend your leisure time with your family or friends. All the staffs are very good and cooperative . But 4 star for food test and it is too costly also.

It seems people of Caravela Beach resort have forgotten that the belong to the hospitality industry ,
They are just interested in selling , and this so called 5 star hotel has been one of most stressful experiences of my life
For the time of check in-- it is a never ending sales pitch to buy in to ' mandatory' Gala dinners , buffets and sessions
...which is even before you have tasted their food or seen their room...
The staff is plentysome , untrained unorganized and sometimes rude as well
There are laundry vigilante s who scold you on using towels on the beach,
there are cahos mongers who explain how they can't give you a table at breakfast because you know there are 500 guests ,
when you yourself bargain and request for chairs from other people , when you get a good scolding after asking too many questions from the staff before ordering.
When the pool is not properly clean
when the restroom near the pool is under renovation and you are then downtalked into using lobby restroom because staff themselves have forgotten about renovation

When it is distinctly evident that the snooty relatives of the owner have taken over all the events and staff is only engaged to service them and is least bothered about you

When the over marketed and over expensive Christmas gala dinner which is supposedly kids friendly turns out to be an utter disappointment and not at all kids-friendly with an inaudible and stale magic show shoved in corner and cheap cabret like dance near the bar - about which you have to explain to a 4 year old and in reality is just an effort to sell more drinks , of a buffet in which water is also paid where I have to wait at least 10 mins for a fresh item,
they have forgotten that people in India have attended way better wedding dinners with more people with better food and caring staff , here there was just staff members who are there to take selfies take your money and frown at each request from the guest
A buffet in which I have to pay for average food and average entertainment and an obnoxious & boring DJ . The owners to our surprise were pleasing and sat between the gathering but they couldn't notice that their staff was blocking the way of other guests and taking photos/videos of the most of the acts , and only attending them and their family. it was better to be member of the staff than be a guest, my hubby wasnt given space to see the magic show with our daughter
U have to put up a fight for everything you need , when you realize that you may have stayed in a 3 star lodge for 1/4 of the money you are paying, when in retrospective you calculate, with this amount of money you could have stayed at a Taj or may be Leela
When you feel cheated, duped and underserved, disrespected, you know you are not in a so called 5 star property
They have changed their name before from Ramada probably because of bad reviews and I am sure will definitely change their name again the way things are going.
One star for the proximity to beautiful verca beach and their infrastructure
The reason the get one star extra is for the quality of their food , the chefs are good and some exceptions in the staff (niranjan, chef Paul)who should work somewhere else

Amazing relaxing place. Nothing outside shopping. If u plan to stay inside the hotel, n relax its very good. Staff is v good. Great place.

I come on this resort on 21st Jan, 2020 , the resort location is good with a nice clean beach but due to the services they provide can spoils all your mood . Specially the manager which is a arrogant person by behaviour . As an honest , the stay can be good but the services they provide is all downwards as compared to the stars given by them . And respect of food and extra activities is all low rated and expensive means spa is paid , table tennis is low graded and many activities is payable . If anyone wants to come just for the beach.

Extremely hospitable staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast was just about okay. Food options are aplenty by the beach. The pizza is a must try at the pool side restaurant. Sizzling brownie with ice cream was good.
Big swimming pool, jacuzzi is kind of hidden close to the pool. Loads of activities at the property. Golf, tennis, badminton & more.
Beach view rooms are not as close to beach.

As you enter the beach, more activities, Speed boat rides, para-sailing, jetski.

Overall a good property.
Good if your gonna spend most of your time inside of the property.

Awesome place.... serene, splendid and away from chaotic hustle & bustle.

We arrived with my family for a week from Almaty in December 2019. An excellent clean hotel with a beach. Very comfortable, a large and green area allows you to walk and get a lot of positive emotions! Highly recommend! Of the shortcomings, poor internet and only two connections per room. Food and rest by 5 points !!!

Stayed for 4 nights includes buffet breakfast. Really a nice hotel to stay. Cleanliness good but food is average and costly better try in near by good restaurants. Need improvement in their breakfast not as good and tasty.
Minibar kept in the room is very limited.
It has a huge area to hang out means the entire property has 23 acres and they maintained well. But wherever you go securities will ask you about the room no :).
Private Beach's are well maintained and has safe guards for our safety.
For our last day they didn't clean the room until we checkout.
For our entire stay really felt like in home.

A wonderful resort at the cusp of beautiful South Goa.
There are many good things about this resort - Private beach, beach shacks with restaurant and bar, good buffet with multi cuisine variety, scenic garden, sea facing and garden facing rooms, golf course.
There are small facilities which make this place standout like provision of beach towels, beach bikes, clean and convenient beach toilets, hammocks in garden.

Nice resort near Varca beach. Beach is not private but it is secluded so mostly you will see resort guests only at the beach.

Beach water sports activities -
I was expecting more water sports activities at the beach but only parasailing was available. The resort doesn't provide water sports activity, it is provided by independent locals there.

Food options -
Great breakfast buffet, great options there for both veg and non veg.
Lesser options for vegetarians for lunch or dinner. Surprisingly I couldn't find cold coffee in their room dine in menu. Don't have much nearby veg restaurants as well, though I was able to order lunch/dinner through Zomato and it takes around 40 mins for the order to arrive.

Feedback to resort -
Please keep bigger water bottles (2 L or probably bigger). You currently provide 500ml water bottles and I felt guilty using those many small plastic bottles. Please keep varied food options for vegetarians in your lunch and dinner menu.

The efficiency of Taj Lands End Mumbai s staff should not be doubted. Welcoming and helpful, guests have really appreciated the staff s friendly approach as in certain instances they have even gone out of their way. This resort was amazing with regards to setup, catering during conference and staff are really amazing who will help you out in all ways possible thanks to Diniz, Prajapati and Samarth for superb coordination, rooms are good, clean and comfortable and Biswajeet kept our room clean.
Breakfast spread is great, will definitely come with family some day, you guys are fantastic.

Splendid place with well kept grounds and an amazingly friendly staff. The white sand beach is cool - unforgettable experience!!

Stayed in Villa - 5 (VL 5) at this property from 5th October 2017 and checked out on 8th October 2017 as part of my company's conference. Very good location and impeccable service. The villa overlooked lush greenery and beyond that the sea.
Special mention is required of Ms. Preeti at Cafe Cascada who handled everything so well every time we were there. Very prompt, efficient and polite lady. Also would like to mention the Duty Manager, Ms. Mabel who made by check-in smooth and for subsequent help for smaller things.

The place is really nice ....i really love it ....i would love 2 visit this again .....love it

The hotel is very good located far for hustle and bustle of the city. Rooms are good and well maintained. Housekeeping personnel are working round the clock to keep the hotel clean as they have prvt beach and sand kewps coming with us to our rooms. Food is awesome. Service staff really helpful and cordial. Overall lovely stay.
