Just left the store beautiful hospitality and everything this store is number 1 Ralph's market hooray
Friendly staff, well stocked, has its own parking area underneath. I went on a Friday afternoon. Lines could use more cashiers as seems to be the case with lots of places.
I've been living in the area of this store for more than 15 years and never had a problem with it until now! I came to this store early this morning at about 1:2o am to buy food and water. I thought I had enough money to pay for my food and water, but didn't. So I went to the ATM to get more, when I got back my food was bagged in the bags I provided. I paid $142.00 plus change for my purchases. I am missing 1 to 2 bags of food I purchased from this store. The cashier was a young woman about 5'-4", blonde braids wearing light green or yellow pants with a pinkish top. The receipt is in one of the missing bags. I've even tried to call the manager or supervisor, but no one will put me through. I used my Ralphs rewards card. SINCE THIS IS HOW THIS STORE TREATS BLACK PEOPLE, I PRAY THAT OTHER BLACK PEOPLE ARE READING THIS AND DON'T PATRONIZE THIS STORE EVER AGAIN!! RACISM LIVES HERE AT THIS RALPHS STORE!! Oh, by the way, it's a good thing I was wearing my body camera, I'm quite sure that it can identify the cashier!
The best market ever......has everything you can think of.
Convenient and clean a little higher prices than most Ralph's.
Very clean and organized, easy to fine anything you need.
I LOVE RALPHS because they have "everything" a person could possibly want or need (got rid of my favorite yogurt, TILLAMOOK; & the small Banquet CHERRY pies??) I always look for the Green Grapes (the fruit is always fresh). They have just about every gift card (except Panda?); the back room with the discounts is always exciting to me, and I love the Fried Chicken Breasts. Haven't had a chance to use the Cleaners yet, but I will. It is fun exploring each aisle = especially the Gummie supplement sales! Keep up the GREAT work. (P.S., have to remind a very few of the check-out clerks to ask for the REWARDS card!! Discounts are worth it; Don't use GAS points)
I love Ralphs house coffee! And self serve checkout w/ cashback to avoid stupid ATM bank fee charges is great... Thanks Ralphs!
This place is way over priced even compared to whole foods! I avoid going here as much as possible because their selection of organic, vegetarian and gluten free items are limited they jack up the price!! I have also noticed their purple labels indicating gluten free items are wrong, don't buy based on that always read the labels on the package!! I have also purchased expired frozen items from here but didn't realize until after opening and cooking them. I do love there large prepared foods section it's good for a quick bite. I always regret coming here for booze & chips on a Friday night as I end up waiting in line for 20min I realize I should have gone to Jasons liquor on 9th...
Bathrooms are getting cleaner as well as the food handling quality and the customer service is friendlier catering to our needs in helpful and creative ways
I was expecting a small grocery store since its in the heart of downtown. It's not, its a full grocery store, with a nice little extra section with prepared foods and hot/cold salad bar. There is even a little bar where you can get flights of beer or wine. Sure Whole Foods just moved in a couple blocks away, but the selection and prices are better here
If you're a visitor on a budget this can be a great stopover. There is a wonderful selection of prepared foods and desserts that are a lot less expensive than the nearby restaurants. You can grab a bottle of wine for cheap, or just stop for a beer at the bar in the middle of the store. Yeah, a bar, and the prices for a draft beer are super low as well.
It is good to come to the downtown to go to play in the downtown ~ It is good to go ~ The store itself is also big and you can buy cheap if you have a membership card!
In the prepared foods section the best meatballs on the entire west coast! Every time I'm in downtown LA I walk to Ralph's from my hotel to get the meatballs. I always look forward to it. Delish!
This one hour free parking market is located downtown and is tidy and tidy.
Is a nightmare the service after midnight, endless lines waiting to checkout and only one register open.
Very nice location, easy to see from the street, parking available, well stocked and clean isles. Staff is very cheerful and helpful. Well secured and in a safe neighborhood to walk after dark. Alcohol is served inside this grocery store and you can eat breakfast lunch dinner here. Open early and stays open late. 2am. ATM available within, restrooms as well
Expensive parking if you don t find what you need to buy. Go to the one on 3rd street
It's ok. It's the smallest Ralph's I've visited in Los Angeles. There's no bank inside. There is a hot bar, soup bar and salad bar. Many baked goods. There is an actual bar inside as well! Usually busy and the aisles seem smaller than other locations. Always stocked. Always clean. Personnel are friendly and helpful. I recommend this location for quick shopping trips.
Good quality friendly cashiers. Nice walk from my casa to the store. Is relaxing.
Good for basic groceries, fruits, flowers and alcohol. Great parking.
Left handed and right handed self checkouts confuses people. Food4less is a Kroger Brand and has cheaper prices for the same brands at Ralph's
All and all , I like a lot this store. The only con is that its small.
Great meat department. I have to update this to reiterate... Great meat department. It's a real butcher department and the guys there will do whatever they can to accommodate your needs. I came in on the 4th of July looking for a rack of pork back ribs. They only had these huge vacuum packs with 2 racks in them on display but they were happy to split one open for me. They're always happy to custom cut a roast or steaks for you or pull something out from the back if you can't find it on display. It's kind of a rare and wonderful thing to have a real butcher in a grocery store these days.
Amazing customer service! I had a salad from your salad bar yesterday - it was outstanding. Fresh and so many healthy choices - the salad bar at Ralphs is the best for quality, value and choice that I have seen in years. Well done - I will be a regular every time I am in town.
This place is an all around mess. Unfortunately it also happens to be our closest grocery store so we usually end up here at least once a week.
The employees can be hit or miss with helpfulness. The guy who is usually behind the meat counter on Sundays is awesome. He is always helpful and recommends deals when we don't even see them. The cashiers are definitely a gamble. Some are nice and some should find another place to work where they don't have to interact with people. And the deli counter generally has helpful employees as well.
I have seen everything in this place from a someone running out the side door with a basket full of groceries to people stuffing things down their pants to steal while walking down the aisles to a homeless guy sampling the food from the buffet. It's gross and pisses me off that there isn't more security or people watching for these sorts of things. I have personally gone up to the security guard who stands at the front of the store and told him about someone shoplifting on TWO different occasions. I'm pretty sure that's what they are getting paid to look for so I'm not sure why I am pointing it out to them!
My biggest pet peeve of this place is that they always have people begging for money in front of the doors. I can't be the only one who finds it incredibly annoying getting accosted while trying to do my weekly grocery shopping! Usually they are fine and just leave you alone but sometimes they get aggressive. Why is nobody kicking these people off the premises? A word to the wise, park upstairs if you don't want to run into people begging for money.
The only reason I continue to come here is because they send out great coupons in the mail. I have started to go to Trader Joe's more though and with the prices dropping at Whole Foods, I will probably frequent that grocery store more as well.
This is a large Ralph's in a high volume area. They need to get their act together and hire more security because it's gotten out of control.

This WAS a great store. That is, until they decided to remodel it, while keeping it open. It's fine to grab a few things from here, but otherwise, be prepared to navigate your cart around contractor's equipment, stock carts, and closed aisles being re-tiled! I'm taking my business elsewhere.
They have a poor selection of products due in part to a large percentage of space dedicated to in store, sit-down alcohol consumption & Fresh food of questionable quality (really, go to Whole Foods). However the super Fudgy, Chocolate'Y Brownies (forget the name) are Amazing - Awesome
I really, really wish this place existed in my neighborhood. Being a salsa connoisseur, I've never seen a larger selection of salsas in a neighborhood grocery store. I've tried most of them, and they've all been delicious. They also have great tacos at the restaurant in the back.
Ralph's used to be a 'signature store' quality, but has fallen off with their low end seafood and meat department. I purchased some filet mignon steaks and when I prep them for dinner, discovered that chunks of meat, with meat glue made up the steak. I took it back and the store put the blame on the supplier, not themselves. I get my meat and seafood from Whole Foods now. BEWARE!
I do Security here and i can describe this place in one word NICE !!
I have to love Ralphs because theyve got everything you need as far as groceries. And free parking oasis in the middle of an expensive parking neighborhood of Downtown. I always stop by Ralphs when taking my loft rental clients to see Market Lofts, Skyline, Sky Lofts, WaterMarke Tower etc. Ralphs has free parking for 80 minutes.
Has everything i look for and great selection of already made food.
TIME AND TIME AGAIN I ENJOI SHOPPING HERE BECAUSE ITS KWIC EASY AND FUN SOMETIMES I CANT FIND WHAT I WONT BUT THEN I TURN AROUND AND AN EMPLOYEE IS RYTE THER TO ASSIST ME. I APPRECIATE THE SAVINGS AND THE REWARDS FROM MY RALPHS CARD IT IS A LIFE SAVER. SOO THE MORE I SPEND THE MORE I SAVE GOD BLESS GUD GORCERY STORES ESPECIALLY WHEN THER RAN CORRECTLY
Security always disrespect african american man. We alway seem to be a suspect and stealing something. It has been so bad as one security guard followed me through store to check out. Terrible, this particular ralph is my choice. Most times im tired and don't feel like going else where so i use that ralphs.
Looks like a really nice Ralph's. I was excited too see a location here. When I came in to load my metro card none of the people knew how to do it. They called customer service. I asked for a manager. I asked the cashier if the customer service is the same as a manager and she couldn't answer she told me she called customer services. But the person took forever to come so I just left they couldn't do it.
Lots of options in downtown LA. Larger grocery store.
Great gluten free options! I used to shop at the whole foods near this place but they did not have good selections of gluten free items like this place does. Prices are great too!
It is different the way it looks. Fresh pizza , chicken and food + hot meatballs is my favorite. I only go there when I don't feel like cooking!
A standard Ralph's, competitive prices a lot of options, and in good shape. The store is nicely air conditioned and we'll kept.
Go to the back of the store in the left corner between the cheese case and the deli case there's an opening if you go in there you'll find some incredible clearance items. Things can be marked down as low as 75% off.
Make sure to say hello to the cashier's they will remember you.
This Grocery shop was a big help for my needs. Everything I badly need last Monday was all right here. I was able to make the things that I should be done. I don't know what to do if I didn't find this awesome place. I will definitely be going to tell all of my co-workers and friends on how great this shop was. Job well-done guys!
Watch with this Wanna be Cop!

Ive always been glad Ralph's has been here in the middle of the heart of dtla as we where all waiting for a whole foods Ralph's was there to cater to us vegans around the neighborhood for our vegan groceries!!! Now it has been updated and it.looms great!!! They also have great deals that beat other competitors
Ralph's is very rarely crowded for downtown. Can usually find whatever I'm looking for
I just love doing shopping in this place. Everything is so beautiful clean and fresh. And their prices are really fair.
One big tip - do not go there if you are hungry, you will probably end up buying more than need.
A must see at midnight on a Sat night. What a scene! Its like they host a party, all they need is a DJ.
One of the nicest Ralph's grocery store I've ever been to. The downtown location offers a place to sit indoors, Coffee Bean stand, salad bar, sushi bar, sandwich bar and even wine tasting. They have a wide selection of organic vegetables and fruit. And like all Ralphs they offer a variety of Kroger items that are much more affordable. You get 1 hour free parking so make sure to validate.
When I am new to the sea food and meat counter, I buy meat seldomly from the Ralph's so far. But I had a very kind and excellent staff, Mr. Craig, in that sea food counter today. My purchase was successful and I will go buy from him more and more. Thank you Craig.
Large store with great selection and prices. It even has a bar with a TV set and lively conversation.
Amazing selection of everything. Salad bar with salad and entrees. Even sushi, deli, and sit down bar areas. My favorite grocery store in downtown.
Has free parking, ready to eat food, clean and organized...
Great environment to shop for food and I normally find what I want.
I ordered the chicken wraps and literally could not detect any amount of chicken. Bartender was great though.
I have gone to this Ralphs since it first opened. It's even better now. Clean, modern and always friendly
Ready to eat food. Sandwiches are amazing, you get to build your own. Amazing customer service
This grocery shop is the best place for your grocery needs! Everything here is available, from fresh produce, juices, meats, cheeses, and many more. This grocery shop is really on top when it comes to service because their staffs are highly trained and very capable. Indeed, a nice place to shop for your home needs! Strongly recommended!
I went to Ralph's for some last minute grocery shopping for Thanksgiving dinner. I had to make something for my vegetarian guest. We got all the ingredients to make a green bean casserole. Was able to get some drinks too. They have some good selections. Good thing they were open later compared to Smart and Final that night. When we got there, they didn't have anymore chicken, but after walking around for the other items on our list, we came back and they had fresh roasted chicken.
I always get here for medicine as well.
Great store layout, there is a full deli, hot buffet and bar! This is a fresh fare location so it is one of the nicest Ralph's out there. The beer at the bar is pretty cheap and is a great place to stop for 10 minutes when you have a really long shopping list. There are TVs there as well. Parking is free for a period of time with validation which is pretty awesome for downtown. Be sure to check the weekly deals pamphlet or make a list online to see all the coupons available. Seriously... go on their site and all the coupons are there digitally now!
