Full service grocery store in down town LA. They have a little bit of everything. Very close to the Los Angeles convention center, L.A. Live and the Microsoft theater.

Honestly Flower/ 9th street Ralph's is a good store. The Manager Osee is nice. The assistant Manager Osee is nice, the sales persons are polite. I like Brenda the cashier. I'm a 6 years Ralph's regular customer. Please give Brenda the cashier credit because without meritocracy we cannot improve our business. From Tonton Yenge l
CONS: expensive even with supermarket offers. It has parking but it is badly signposted, we end up parking in the street. The cars are fatal, they make a lot of noise, they slow down and it's hard to take them straight. It has an area to eat and drink something on the spot but it is a very small area. PROS: The products on the shelves are very well placed and ordered. Going through the box is super fast, the cashier staff is super fast and friendly.
Conveniently located with a good selection for a downtown location, but a bit of a dead zone for me. Had to abandon my cart and run outside when I got a work call.
So this is a real up and down market. It's got some real nice things to offer and some real poor service. It's the only supermarket downtown, with it's only competition being whole foods, but that's not really a conflicting customer base seeing as whole foods attracts a certaintype of customer that probably won't be going to Ralph's. Not sure if that is the reason for the poor service (especially at the Deli), or if they just don't care, but it's usually a a frustrating experience for me when I shop here. There are a few hard working individuals, especially one of the ladies in the Deli, but there are more employees be there who just don't care, and won't try very hard to help or serve you. Just because they are they supermarket around this part of town isn't an excuse for the poor service they provide.
Affordable prices and got loads of organic fruits/foods.
The store is great. I get everything I need here.
But a few of the staffs doing checkouts are very very rude and disrespectful. Seems like they wake up on the wrong side of the bed everyday. Feels like they have no sense of how to talk to customers. I am a regular and I have seen it happening so many times.
Today one of my friends was doing self checkout. She wanted to void the item which she didn't want. The old lady at the quick checkout counter came in voided it and said I don't know, I am not gonna take that stuff back, you go and keep it where it is supposed to be at.
As much I understand, she is a checkout lady. Part of her job is to take items which others don't want while checking out and put them in the collection basket.
I will suggest the management not to put these grumpy people in-front of the customers. No one deserves to take their negative energy and bad experience back home.
I've been coming here for years and have yet to be displeased or annoyed by my shopping experience. I always get everything I need for a more than fair price.
This has everything you need! Ready to eat meals, wine bar, pharmacy, dry cleaner, inside a grocery store! Sushi isn't that bad either!
Best Ralph's in Los Angeles. Has a beer and wine bar!
Good choice of organic and non-organic food. The bar in the ready-to-eat section is also nice to share a beer, watch a game on TV and have a quick chat with the locals. I sat over there to watch a bit of the Dallas-Detroit NFL game. However, you need to be a member of Ralph's to get a lot of discounts. To avoid doing this, you just have to say to the cashier that you're visiting and they give you the discounts without a problem.
It's a grocery store with but with a little plus. It has a small bar! Very low key but you just might meet your other half there or just a relaxer before heading home.
Everyone has a wonderful experience because of the quality of the goods and the gracious hospitality displayed by the many affable vendors! Very Highly Recommended!
Great to have a Ralphs in the center of DTLA.
Lots of choices to eat.
Decent place to get Food in the heart of the City!!
Every since I can remember from the time I was a kid, RALPH'S SUPERMARKET, has always been #1 choice for groceries in our family for shopping! The freshest in produce, meats and dairy products... So, when it's time to get the top of the line items in groceries, make RALPH'S your 1st choice in shopping!!
Clean, there are many lanes open so fast check out. Very helpful cashiers talkative and welcoming.
There is a large selection of items on offer here, including a deli, hot foods bar, salad bar, coffee bar, and pharmacy. The prices are affordable, despite it being in a trendy location. The store also offers a good customer loyalty program for frequent shoppers. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable as well. I was able to stock up on bulk nuts, snacks, and soda for the week of the conference I attended at L.A. Live.
Parking is good. There's always a spot. Very Convenient.
A little high prices, excellent merchandise very good quality, worth paying a little more
Love this market! I love that you can buy sashimi and they will cut it for you depending on how you want it cut. Both the sushi and the sashimi were fresh. I was very happy about the quality. The last time I bought grocery store nigiri and sashimi was at Mitsuwa in Chicago, but the quality was so bad that I threw it away. It was a nice surprise to know that a town like Columbus, OH would have good grocery store sushi.
Biggest Ralph's I've been to and it always crowded but great customer service.
I've never had a bad experience here. Yes, it is a little pricey, but I don't come here for cheap food staples either. The staff is professional and never seemed rushed even when they obviously are.
I go out of my way to shop here when I can't make it to Trader Joe's.
Very friendly employees, willing to help when you have a question ensuring you are satisfied. The prepared food is done with care and cleanliness. The products are always fresh, the cashiers greet you with a smile and always ask if we found everything satisfactory. Two thumbs up!!
Wuauuuuuuuuuuuu the freshest vegetables in los angeles California
Excellent!! Super varied and I found products on offer!
Pottery goid selection, open until 2am. But they close the seating area around 9-10pm which is why 4 stars
Have you ever walked into a grocery store and walked out without purchasing anything? Should you park at this parking garage you would have to show proof of purchase from ralph's in order to get your ticket validated.
Nice to see a well-stocked, well-run urban grocery store. The beer bar is a fun touch.
Has a lot of organic produce and Simple Truth products which are fairly priced! Self checkout is also convenient for when lines are super long! Love that
The only supermarket i have ever seen with a full bar inside. And the only supermarket in DTLA until recently.
A decent Ralphs though I swear it s always crowded as heck.
Great placeto shop. I always get a roll quarters to wash, super convenient. I even get coupons for eggs and big bags of cheetos for free. Plus the cashiers are so nice
I was shopping with my son when we witness a very overweight employee named daisy exposing her breast to anather employee it was so gross my son wanted to vomit
Clean everything you ever need is there employees are all always helpful and nice
I found everything I needed easily, also the staff are very helpful
Ralph's has the best bakery in town. The double chocolate and mango cakes are fresh and unbeatable. They have a wide assortment of breads. The deli serves fresh food daily and sushi's are a must try. The self serve check out makes it quick to be in and out. I love these merci
Best Ralph's EVER I PROMISE SPEND LUNCH TIME THERE I DARE YOU NOT TO FEEL FATTIER JUST 4 WALKING IN AND BREATHING IN THE AROMA'S
Too many dogs in the store. Dogs that aren't service dogs. They're just dirty old mutts with the owners not paying attention or controlling there's dogs. I'm thinking of changing to the South Pasadena Ralph's. They don't seem to cater to people with dogs like the downtown store does.
Excellent service open very late till 2am they are always patient and welcoming, great selection and great prices, can find many kosher products here
It's a nice size store too with all the usual great Ralphs items. The store is well laid out and quite spacious unlike some other locations where there seems to be tight quarters and everything is packed in so tightly.
They have most everything I would need in terms of groceries with a really friendly staff.
It's a regular grocery store nothing special and the parking is confusing at night because sometimes they have s parking attendant and other times they don't.
Got caught slipping parking a little to long..50 Big Bucks smh...Most expensive parking I've ever paid lol...O well...Spend that Ish..Great Bar
actually pretty friendly staff, not so busy for a Ralphs
