I was travelling and they wouldn't sell me booze without a passport. I was disappointed. Much better for me than wholefoods.

I really like how clean and stocked the place is. What really ruins it is the employees make me feel unwelcome. I ask for a bag at the self check out and the employee seems upset that I got the nerve to speak to her. I said have a good night and she rolls her eyes. I don't see why I'm treated badly if I did nothing wrong. It's like I'm offensive for being alive. This place needs friendlier employees who can make you feel happy to shop there.

My friend likes to go to this one , basically because of the parking.

The food was delicious. The bbque was full of flavor, juicy and falling off the bone. The nice patient, friendly lady (who noticed we were out of town - we told her Baltimore) at the counter rubbed each piece in the sauce. The mashed potatoes and gavy out of this world. The zucchini had mushrooms in it - delicious. Of course we have a Ralphs card since we come to LA almost every year around this time.

Oh. The red velvety cake. Oooooh

The store is very easy to navigate, is quite clean, and the associates are friendly. Be sure to have a Ralph's Rewards card so you can save some money, otherwise your products will be a little more expensive than you may be used to shopping at other grocery stores - this is due to being located in DTLA where grocery stores are few and far between.

I really enjoy the sandwich station they have there, as well. They make a straight up baller turkey, bacon, and cheddar sandwich.

It's a good store to shop at. If you need a standard grocery store for some quick produce or some muffins and deli meat, this is the place to go.

But no ATM who accept internationals cards, and no payments possible for internationals cards.

I love it here!! Especially since the remodeling. Cu customer service is pretty good too. The only drawback is, a lot of homeless people that go in there and sitting there and it can be kind of trouble some of the time but other than that it's a great place to shop in and be well.

Busy lunch spot downtown. Made to order deli sandwiches (with Boar's Head meats) are a good choice. Salad/food bar is okay but not as good as Whole Foods which is also near by. Sushi is unremarkable but there if you really need it. All in all a nice supermarket with decent lunch options. And it's next to a nice park where you can sit and eat.

Ralphs is the best great fruits and vegetables hope it stays like this forever and only gets better every year. Alot of rewards, great products, clean business, great atmosphere. Would recommend for groceries.

I wish they had better fresh bread, or the quality of their bakery bread was better. There is a new addition to the store, they have placed a beer/wine bar near the deli section of the store, very odd.

The employees are so cool . I love the variety of items and brands they carry. Simply organic products are AWESOME. they sell antibiotic and steroid free meats which I never encountered until I moved to L.A. ( I'm from a Chicago food desert )

I love this Ralph's, it has everything big salad and hot foods bar. It also has a deli and bakery. It's s right in the middle of downtown LA ,so it's perfect for lunch and getting groceries after work.

Fancy, for a Ralph's. Extensive wine and liquor. Good-quality produce and much cheaper than nearby whole foods.

Good place to buy has options of legumes, organic fruits. And you have 90 minutes without parking.

Good place to shop but also to eat. Hot food is very good in there.

Really great service!!! Has everything you can think of from the classic sandwich bar to a full bar with different kinds of beer.

Good number of salads available.. the prepared food section is also pretty good..

I patronize Ralphs on 9th Street in between Hope Street and Flower Street regularly. My shopping experience is always satisfying. I enjoy the atmosphere around the grill where many patrons watch sports and enjoy each other's company. I love the selections of fresh soup and the fresh hot and cold foods self serving bars especially the raw shrimp and the variety of chicken. I aim to eat healthier so Ralphs offer a large selection of fruits, veggies, and other products catering to my needs. I enjoy their staff. I think their checkout lanes should be updated/ reconfigured because the checkout area is always crowded and hard to manuveur past the swarms of people (shopping carts) in that area. But overall, Ralph's offers a friendly atmosphere and is well stocked. Ralph's is worth the higher prices.

I loved your crab cakes, & lollipops. Organic in the ice cream isle, green been cacerol-deli very good.

Very impressed with the store, especially the amount of fresh or freshly prepared food available. I live in Florida so we don't have any Ralph's, but sure wish we did!

People, place, and deli workers are nothing special. So many other Ralphs are better. Maybe it's because of its location. I don't know. 2.5 stars is more accurate.

They usually have what I want. Very clean, good prices and very friendly and helpful staff.

I am actually a tourist and i use this store every year while on holiday I think it fantastic for every day items and for things i forgot to bring with me from England. It also has a hot food counter just don't forget your ralphs card for discounts.

Sale ended today but not only do I walk and couldn't carry 4 12pks but they didn't have my flavor. Nanette, the most awesomest cashier let me buy the 4, take the 1 and is making sure that 3 are there tomorrow. How cool us that?

I have tried their bbq and cold cut sandwiches. The best sandwiches ever. You will get a lot in your sandwiches when you get it from handy market. Both tri-tip bbq and turkey/salami sandwiches are excellent. The portion is huge and definitely worth the price. Deliciousness all around. I recommend this place if you're really hungry for a big sandwich.

Horrible cashiers. Deli personal excellent service! The only star goes to them. Cashiers all mad about their job. Avoid here weekends night. Once the cashier even said if we are not happy to go home. That lady should be out of there always angry with the costumers. Managers usually are angry as well. Whole foods have cheaper prices on vegetables and another items. I tried to avoid going to Ralph's as much as possible nowadays. Using Google express and whole foods. Also smart final for some products. Just cashiers don't blame the self checkout when you lose your job. Because for now the machine it's far way better them you guys.

Good selection, free parking (validate), is more crowded than other Ralphs and lines are long, if you have few items there are Express lanes and self checkout but those also had long lines.

I still prefer going to Woori for my groceries which are cheaper and just as clean. But overall if you're in a pinch and near by it will do the trick.

Very welcoming and they have a ton of products. The guy was very helpful and we didn't feel pressured to buy anything.

It's my favorite food store. Well, after Whole Foods hehe!!! It's the closest one and in smack middle of downtown.

I have gone through many hardships and trials in my life recently even but none compare to the level of hopelessness helplessness and embarrassment I was made to feel tonight at this Ralph's. The head security guard had had acted on his own personal feelings he had towards me based off of a situation that we've had two months earlier in which he locked the door to the front of the store 20 minutes earlier than the closing timepersona I witness thisI witness this from afar and and I took it upon myself to go through the parking garage andand enter the store that way fear not to ring me up because that would be rewarding bad behavior however she bring my purchase up and cheering me up at 2 on the dot they're still customers that were in the store before I enter the store shopping around. about a week or two later when I enter the store to go shopping again cuz I shop there often he sees me and he follows me around and he makes a spectacle as if I stole something however he did not show case the result of which was the fact I did not steal anything could because I'm not a thief but I understand now the they calculated reasons why he did this and that is because tonight when I was denied access to that Ralphs to go shopping or I shopped for a whole year was living downtown he denied me access in lied and said that I stole from the store and have the manager agree. This security gaurd is the manager of the security team of Ralphs and he told a blatant lie at my good natured honest and kind heart expense he told a flat out never ever happened nothing to even cpmpare it to blatant lie in front of many customers and employees and to the manager on order to feel redeemed for his personal feelings towards me bc I diddeci to enter the store from the garage entry and checked out by 2am after standing in line for 10 minutes where he constantly embarrassed me and requested from the cashier to not ring up my purchsde....she of course did and I was paid by 2am while there were still customers shopping!

I love this Ralph's not just because it's walking distance, but because it is truly a "super" market.

This Ralph's is like a club. Everyone all dressed up and good looking.

Why is a fully grown unleashed great Dane allowed to roam the aisles unsupervised? Security and Management don't seen to care.

They didn't have much of a candy selection but I was still able to find what I was looking for.

The Soviet Ralph's, the long lines for checkout due to so many closed registers are beyond idiotic. Just try and find some malt vinegar here, it's a fun game if you're super bored. Still, if you can find an employee on the floor, they're super helpful.

The store is a good place to shop. It's easy to price compare, most of the ee's are helpful and accommodating. The house brand is generally as good if not better than the national brands. I have a problem with dogs shopping there, and security is ham handed. The stock is down and Kroger's the parent company isn't doing well against Amazon, Whole Foods, and who knows when Trader Joe's comes downtown, they will really mix it up.

great selection and i was surprised to see fresh sushi in the mornings. this store is super convenient if you live downtown like me. but the prices are a bit high. did i mention the super hot chix from FIDM who troll the store after 10pm....YUMMY!!

I go there 2 times a month to get groceries. Lots of low prices

This is a relatively small store but it is in downtown. They have a good selection of foods to pick up for a quick meal or restock the pantry.
