We stopped by today for lunch and Monique was our server. She was great from start to finish. I would go so far as to say she gave the best service out of any server we ve had at rainforest. This location is our favorite out of the ones we have been too.

Great good, great atmosphere but there portion sizes are smaller and prices are rising.

I absolutely love the food, and ride. I am so happy with the service and I will come again when I have a chance. The wait is a long time, but I know the reason is because the food is good. Thank you for the good experience, Rainforest Cafe.

Ok place, food was ok, service was ok. Meh... been there, done that.

We are super grateful they take food allergies seriously. The chef will come and talk to you about the allergies and handle your order with care. The food was good and the service was professional.

This is the experience that leaves your kids with memories. Everyone and everything in this place was pleasant and worth it. The river ride and the gift shop had my kids wide-eyed and we came away with some quality photos for them to look at and tell stories with. The ride was jam packed with things for them to drop their jaws at and point and scream "look!" So to me it was well worth it. And being next to the sea wall means you get to take a beautiful stroll afterwards and just enjoy the night and the sounds and the atmosphere. 5 stars all the way

First time here in the galveston location and was wowed by the service and food. The service is top notch friendly waiters and fun atmosphere. The food was fresh and delicious. The place is clean and the ride they have is so much fun! My family loved it and this is my new favorite location!!!

Little pricey but fun environment for the little bitties. :) This rainforest cafe has an amusement ride. Totally cool.

We began to worry when it took 10 minutes to get a waitress to find our table for our drink order but after that it turned into a really nice meal. The food of course is a little pricey in a theme styled restaurant but the food was good and plenty of it. After the initial not having a waitress at the beginning, after she found us she was attentive, friendly and made our visit pleasurable. I would recommend this restaurant if you don't mind shelling out a little for the atmosphere.

Food was pretty good and the atmosphere is really cool. Definetly worth checking out. Prices were pretty steep though; that's the only thing that'd keep me from going back.

Ordered the burger cooked to medium. Hubby had been drinking and was several bites in before I noticed and made him stop. The meat in the the middle of the the burger was RAW. We didn't make a fuss because we were ready to go home, but please check you meats before you eat them when you order here.

Food subpar for price. Mainly for the kids. Waiting list can get long

Ride was broke down. Over priced menu. Loud atmosphere could hardly hear the kids talking over all the music and jungle sounds. Waiter was not friendly. Will NOT be returning.

Fun atmosphere but the food was not as good as we expected.

Very expensive yet bland tasting food. Steak was okay. The chicken was unseasoned and the ribs were almost unedible. 2 star review just for the atmosphere

Prices are too expensive for the quality of food they serve.

They have 2 meals that can be made vegan, the beyond burger which is great and a pasta dish (I think it's called Anaconda). The pasta dish was awful, no flavor at all. The fries were good also. The service was slow and they got the beyond burger wrong the first time (they added cheese). The waitress was nice but the food and the very high prices they have are not worth it at all.

I was actually impressed with the food. The adventure ride was over the top. Granddaughters loved it

Very sad , we left without dinner as the front person said for a wait of 1hour and 45 min . It waited 1 hour made a request to both females on the entrance as it was my daughter s birthday and didn t want her to sleep as we were there since 8:30 pm .
Finally left at 10:00 pm and handed that ticket to the lady to dine at Cheesecake Factory .
The best part was
She enjoyed making Build A Bear Unicorn right there for her birthday .
Normally it s always a pleasant experience and delicious food . But I guess , it didn t happen today ....

I love this place!! This is especially the entrance, because it is not in a Mall and it looks beautiful, it is like a volcano with a waterfall and everything! The delicious food !! The special service !!

Food is good. The service was friendly. Definitely overpriced but what you would expect from this type of place. The kids loved it. I'm cheap so the price is the reason for a deduction. If you aren't cheap like me then consider this a 5 review

I loved the experience. It would have been a great place to take your children under ages 18. Plus the food was great....plus you can take your children on a safari through the rainforest. AWESOME!

Absolutely wonderful place to take your family. Beautiful family atmosphere. We had a great time. Very entertaining and food was great also.

Food sucked $30 plate tasted like it came from the microwave then again microwave would ve warmed it up better

Fun environment, long wait times, and okay food. It's fun for the kiddos...but ultimately overpriced for what you get.

Food is decent, place is of course the quasi theme park it has always been, drinks are good, everything is expensive. Of note: the Fish and Chips are really really good and on par with chip shops I've hit in London. Appetizer ribs were decent Asian chicken was meh. Southwest egg rolls were surprisingly decent. Chicken strips were ok.

Food wasn't bad but not amazing. Price is a bit high but that's what you pay for the fun atmosphere. Thunderstorms, shooting stars and lively animals are all around while eating.

We waited an hour and half to get seated. One hour to get our food and when it finally came out it was all cold and that steak I ordered was about three inches in diameter.

Fun . Food is delicious.

Once we finally got seated the the service was not its best. Then when our food was finally delivered my husband's dish came out last only to be too cold to eat so we had to send it back. The burger we ordered was medium rare instead of well done like we'd requested and The fries weren't the freshest either. For the cost of the meals I definitely expected better. Oh and if you ride their ride don't expect your pictures to be ready when you get off cause that takes roughly an additional 30 mins.

My kid loves this place. Cool theme, and a raft ride for the kids. Menu is pretty generic the food is ok. It s more about the environment.

We had a blast as always of course it was probably our 5th or 6th time going but it was babies 1st. time she was so excited we rode rides ate the food was AMAZING & the atmosphere

Had a fun day for my birthday with some friends and family.

Was cool being in a rain forest but service could have been better .

It was really close to our hotel and the kids wanted to try it out I was expecting more every half an hour with the rainforest activity.

This restaurant is unique as it is decorated as if you are in a jungle.

Too pack, I went present my VIP card and told me in 1 hour and half I will be called. But after 1 hour and half I went back and asked for an update and the previous staff did not put my VIP info and I was told I have to wait one more hour and half. My toddler was not very happy as me. So I went to another place after waste almost 2 hours waiting. The only good thing was the souvenir store... Very nice.... Staff from the restaurant please remember costumer services skill and smiles... I know is hard that is why I did not make a drama, and I was not rude even if I was upset... But the staff was not very friendly.... after they complain about costumers.... They need a better training with costumer services skills.

I was quoted an hour waiting and it ended up being three hours. Not impressed... To say the least.

Great to go look at no so much to eat. Waited a very long time.Very limited menu and I mean limited and way to expensive for what they do have.. other than that the place looked great but way to many people

Very large portion sizes and the food was excellent. Atmosphere is amazing. Great place to take your kids. Prices are high but well worth it.

The Rainforest Cafe in Galveston, Texas is an excellent place to eat out with your family. This place has a menu with a wide variety of foods that is sure to please everyone. This Restaurant is decorated to simulate a rainforest and even includes Rainstorms and a Safari Ride to enhance the experience. The Rainforest Cafe includes a gift shop and a build a bear workshop so you can purchase mementos of your experience.

Took my grandchildren here and everyone enjoyed the atmosphere and the food.

The food is over priced, I look at it as admissions to the place which was expected. My food? Well, My steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly but was tough as boot leather. My shrimp looked great just no taste to it. Sides and Beer was good.
The personnel working here are friendly and helpful. The cafe is dirty, in every corner of the place is left over repair parts. That doesn't go with the theme. All the vines and objects hanging from the ceiling is covered in deep dust. The music was so loud I could not hear the sounds.
River Adventure Ride is fun. But same problem with leftover repair parts laying every where. Several large displays were broken or not working.
In short I would look to have a good time at Galveston's other fine restaurant. Until New Management takes over and clean the place up, I will NOT return.

Delicious food, fun adventure ride and incredible atmosphere for kids. We had a blast in Galveston for a day trip mainly due to this fantastic restaurant!

Took to long to be seated and priced to high for cold food

First time there. Wasn't impressed with the food. Waiter was wonderful. The water ride was wonderful. It was very different, reminded me of the jungle.

Staff was great and food was delicious especially the big volcano brownie for dessert!! The ride was also fun, the kids loved it.

The service was amazing! Our waiter Nicola, was wonderful, friendly and courteous. The best service I've had in a long time. Thank you, we will return.
