I had always heard about this restaurant so the hype was there, but overall it was not a big deal. 1hr wait on Friday evening, not too bad. The food was good, normal portions. We took the adventure ride, which was ok, actually they kids didn't like it. All said, go once just to do it, but that's probably all.

Spectacular! I went back this time with my kids and family and everything was great. The food, the place, the drinks, the boat ride, the volcano explosion outside. Kids LOVED it. Totally worth the drives.

Best Rainforest Cafe we have ever visited. Has it's own jungle river and a spectacular volcanic simulated fire and sounds outside the restaurant. The food was excellent and staff were all pleasant.

This afternoon we went to this place with my daughters after spending the whole afternoon on the beach in Galveston, because it is a place near and with good parking to enjoy after the beach, not only the food is sensational, the attention from the waiters, good prices and these days what we need most is that you worry about hygiene due to the covid -19 pandemic, they have well planned for when you arrive at this place because they have everything clean and adequate for your safety, sensational food

We brought my son here for his fifth birthday, and the kids had a blast. The food was good, and the decor of the restaurant is a lot of fun. We took the little boat ride after our meal, and, again, the kids had a wonderful time!

The menu was a fun twist on Americana with several Seafood options and a pretty full kids menu. The food was really tasty, and portions were enough that it offset the sightly higher than average prices. (Not too terrible, but expect to go about $30-$40 per person)

My only complaint would be that the wait staff seemed totally disinterested in what seems like a fun job with, what I would assume to be, really good tips. It wasn't just our waitress. The whole staff was really lethargic. Maybe we just caught them on a bad day, because the kitchen was totally on point. It wasn't enough to make a negative experience, but when you drop a couple hundred dollars on a meal, it would just be nice to deal with someone with a tiny bit of personality.

All in all, we'll definitely be back. I would highly recommend getting the Landry's Club membership beforehand.

Great experience. My children loved it. Every where they turned was excitement. The food was great and seating was fast. I especially appreciate the balloon maker guy who visit every table to make balloons for the children. We REALLY enjoyed ourselves and will definitely return.

Just left the Galveston location, I have never left ZERO as a tip amount at any establishment (usually greater than 20%), but I did today. 1. My wife ordered the most expensive dinner, steak shrimp and ribs. All she requested was to substitute the Cole slaw for another side. The answer, "no we don't substitute." 2. I ordered one of the mixed drinks from the front of the menu, where it said in bold "order the drink, keep the souvenir glass". We're on vacation, so why not get something to remember. It came out in a regular glass, so I figured a clean glass comes after the meal. No dice, "that drink is not one of the ones included." I ask for the manager and relate to him what is printed on the front of their menu. He said, "sorry about that, I'll relay that to corporate and have them fix the menu." that's it. 3. As we're leaving he tells my daughter who stopped in the gift shop. "you need to put on a mask." she told him she can't as she has an underlying health condition, which she does. He says "then you need to leave." check was over $140. Nope never going back again. If you know your customer base is tourists spending money and making memories, then provide customer service and follow your written postings. If I could have left 0 stars I would have. The food was just okay too, definitely not worth the price.

Tryed this place out while on vacation. The tables were to close together and it was very noisy. The food was very overpriced and took forever to get to us. Both our waitress and the manager I asked where the bathroom was barely spoke English. It might be a cool place for kids but my wife and I were disappointed in the all around experience. This establishment is not on the list for our future visits.

I based our visit on the reviews and we are clueless as to why they were Sooooooooo wrong!!!!......I made reservations ...we finally were seated after a 20 minute wait....once seated way in the back...we waited another 30 minutes to get our drink order...we have 2 kids and by then we were ready to go. The waiter saw we were getting up to leave and decided maybe it was a good time to get our drink order! We said No Thank you we are leaving. With No apology just a smart remark of ok. We complained to the manager...No apology... NEVER AGAIN!! What a DISAPPOINTMENT!

I was completely let down. I was told we would be waiting for 2 hours and 20 mins for a table. Ended up waiting 3 hours and 30 mins. Not enough servers, so we didnt get refills or even utensils. The fajitas were extremely dry, the kids pizzas were burnt, and the bread was hard as a rock. The river adventure was just as fun as always. The kids loved it, but again the service fell short. We could not get a family photo to take home like we normally do because the camera person wasnt down there when we got to the boat. I've had great experiences in the past. But this last visit kind of ruined it for me...

The place is awesome! The animals coming to life and the the whole restaurant is decorated like a forest obvi.

The service is great and fast.

The food however was okay...I had a mai tai and I barley felt any alcohol.

The veggies were not seasoned well, the fish was wet from other sauces. The scallops and shrimp was a mess. Coconut shrimp are not well seasoned and did not taste good.

Great experience but the food could have been better!

It was amazing there was a magician there , A balloon animal guy. They had a thunderstorm during your meal inside of the restaurant. Then they also have a lazy river ride for the kids and the whole family! Perfect Price, perfect place !So much more to this place .There is even a Build-A-Bear Workshop inside and so much! Must do!

Took the family out for the afternoon. Good service and good food. The staff were friendly and fun. Obviously, you expect the overpricing at any of these theme restaurants, but if you go with that expectation already in place you will walk away happy. The location is perfect if you are a tourist...the pleasure pier and sea wall are right there. Enjoy.

Service - slow to average on a busy day

Service - slow to average on a busy day
Prices - way, way too high for the food. $3.25 for a soda is immoral.
Food - just okay. Last time we got fajitas and the chicken was dry and had little flavor.
Atmosphere - the decor is unique, but it's loud even before the hourly thunderstorm. I couldn't have a conversation with my wife.
Summary - I really don't know why people get so excited about this place. Won't be back.

I'll give 2 stars for the service and "experience". Food was poor, cold and over priced. Won't be back here again. Paid $100 for two plates, child's plate and three drinks. Save your money and find another restaurant.
